Bring on our new starting pitcher! I'd say that Naylor being dealt is a sign that the D backs are officially sellers. Would Zac Gallen be a good target? (5.58 ERA) And of course there's they swirling Suarez rumors. With Matt Shaw underperforming it makes sense to pick up a 3rd base rental. Considering how the Cubs look to be a contender this year, and the Brewers having their best year ever, they unfortunately just can't wait any longer for him to figure it out. Only problem is I'm sure Gallen and Suarez would cost a pretty penny. Who are some other targets for a starter? I'm not a fan of Sandy Alcantara post Tommy John. He's been worse than Gallan at a 6.66 ERA. What are some other 3rd base, right handed options out there?

Perfect image for it.
Edward Cabrera, Joe Ryan*, Mckenzie Gore. adrian Houser. Not sure if all those pitchers will be dealt, but I would happily take any of them. Castro would be a good pickup. .859 ops against lefties. Joe Ryan, Castro would take a haul, but that would be perfect for us.
Think this is pretty cheap imo. Cubs gotta be aggressive and just make a deal before we get stuck into a bidding war with the Yankees or Phillies.
Let’s go Jed get er done.
I literally say this every time the first trade drops lmao.
Matt Shaw was great last week. Don’t trade him.
