  1. $8 mil. gamble on a guy who looked like a future star in '15 playoffs. then got traded, injured, and fell off a cliff. even his jr. linemate who boosted drouin's draft status couldn't revive that success with av's so very iffy on that big production.
    29 wasn't the answer for av's who got burned big time with the rantanen deal and needs to be better as secondary scorer. av's need to re-sign necas and hope with a system near bottom of nhl.
    ritchie is in a wait and see mode. will start at ahl and get called up when injuries hit or 44 gets moved.
