BREAKING: Arizona Diamondbacks trade first baseman Josh Naylor for pitching prospects #mlb

is from an Arizona team. Breaking news. Sorry to interrupt. What do we got? Trade number one by the Arizona Diamondbacks. Are you guys ready? Okay. All we know right now, at least from Jeff Passen, the Seattle Mariners are acquiring first baseman Josh Naylor from the Arizona Diamondback sources tell ESPN. I’m also seeing from Ken Rosenthal. Let me see if he has anything different really quickly here. Nope, it’s just Naylor. So, we do not know return yet, but Josh is going to Seattle. That is the trade. So, okay. So, the first domino has fallen. Okay. Now, the Mariners Gambo, as you know, are one of the top three teams interested in bringing Gino Suarez in their case back to the organization. And just because they acquired Naylor, I don’t know if that means they’re out on Suarez, but that’s an interesting dynamic that one of the top three teams interested in Suarez has gone out there and reportedly struck a deal with the Dbacks for Josh Naylor. Okay, I’m going to work on this right now and see if I can find out who they got for him. But yeah, so Naylor was one of the guys I thought out of the four guys um out of the four players, Kelly number one, Suarez 2, Gallon three, that you would bring back the less the least package for for Naylor. I thought that would be the least package you would get back out of the four guys would be for Naylor. And it still may be. It still may be. We’ll see how this plays out. It’s interesting, Gambo. I know uh the organization uh felt that like most trades at the trade deadline, things would really start to cook in the final 24 to 48 hours, but the Dbacks are clearly not going to wait that long. They clearly had a deal they liked on the table for Naylor. So before Naylor goes out there and pulls a hamstring if you’re going to if you’re going to, you know what I mean? Like just get the deal done now. Gentlemen, if I may break in, sure, Jeff Passen has reported a return package. It is two pitchers. Lef left-hander Brandon Garcia and right-hander Ashton Izzy are going. Brandon Garcia is the 13th best prospect in their organization. He is in triple A. Ashton Izzy is the 16th best prospect. He is an Aball. So Ashton is a 63 165B right-handed pitcher. He is um he is the 16th best prospect. Garcia is in TripleA. He’s a 6’4 235 pound left-handed pitcher. So, two pitching prospects back is what we’re seeing.

  1. Naylor just meh, before he goes out there and fields a ground ball or throw…lolol. Pavin just as average so it's a wash. Good trade for some pitching prospects.

  2. Dbacks got fucked. Good bat great personality has a good glove when needed and they got back 2 pitching prospects that have never seen the big leagues🤦‍♂️🤣🤣
