I can assure you, we’re going to be making some hefty amounts of coin going forward. And we’re going to do it right here as we go to Great American Ballpark for this game between the Cincinnati Reds and the Tampa Bay Rays, the Cincinnati Reds, sending out Nick Martinez for the start in this one. While the Rays will counter with Zack Latell. And Latell, you know, has started to pitch a little bit better. I won’t say a little bit better in terms of, you know, he was pitching poorly. But the problem with Latell has been the home run ball. He gave up 24 home runs this season in 122 in and a third innings of work. Um now the quality starts have been racking up. I mean he’s had five quality starts, excuse me, four quality starts in his last six outnings. Um one out shy of making it a fifth when he faced the Tigers in his last road start prior to the All-Star break. Came out firing six innings a two-run ball. Gave up seven hits. Only had three strikeouts in his in his first start out of the All-Star break against the Orioles. But that’s been an Orioles lineup that’s been very up and down this season. It’s been a hard uh hard Orioles lineup to try to figure out. They’ve had their their peaks and their valleys. They started to look like they were a team that was maybe maybe turning the corner a little bit, but then started to really falter. And uh like I said, it’s just been sort of hard to figure out uh what they’re actually going to be. And you know, now you look at a guy like Zack Latell, who like I said, has still had keeping the home runs off of the board and keeping the, you know, the uh the the damage to a minimum. Has had a share of problems with with giving up the power. Like I mentioned, the home runs per nine right now currently sits below two, but you know, you wouldn’t know it with how many he’s given up this season. And now you face a Cincinnati team at Great American Ballpark that has done some decent damage against right-handed pitching in the last couple weeks. You know, especially at home, this is a dangerous lineup to try to face. I mean, the last two weeks, including the All-Star break, the Cincinnati Reds hitting 297 against right-handed pitching. And, you know, just outside the top five in team OPS. I think they can get to Zack Latell for a few runs, maybe score a couple off of the Tampa Bay Rays bullpen, which has sort of been around the middle of the pack in the last uh last two weeks. On the other side though, you got Nick Martinez shown that he is one of the more volatile pitchers in baseball. You can you can flirt with a no hitter against the San Diego Padres’s and then come out over your next two starts and give up 14 runs combined, you know. So, it’s just a matter of trying to figure out which Martinez is going to show up here. But against Tampa Bay, Ray is lineup that is actually not bad. I mean, they’re hitting 250 against righties. They have a high walk rate. I think they can get runners on the base pass here and and cross some runs against Martinez as well. The the Red’s bullpen has been better in the last couple of uh you know, last couple of weeks, but I still think that this is a game that’s bred for some runs, especially at Great Americans. So, I’m going to roll with the over between the Reds and the Rays, and that’s going to be my free pick.
