Hope everyone is doing well. We got the athletics headed into Houston to play the Astros. Well, actually, these I forgot these teams actually play on Thursday. Um, I’m recording this before that game starts. So, this will actually be game two of the series. These fellas are getting their series uh starting off a little bit early. And in this one, it looks like we got Jeffrey Springs on the mound for the Athletics. And it looks like it’s going to be Ryan Gusto on the mound for the for the Astros. I know when I looked at this game yesterday. When I mean yesterday, I mean on on Wednesday. I’m recording this on Thursday. It was supposed to be Gusto pitching Thursday, but it looks like he got moved to this Friday start. I will say for the athletics, man, Jeffrey Springs has been their most consistent guy as of late. I mean, he has a 4-1 record in his last five, a 237 erra in his last five as well. I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Jeffrey Springs. I I really have, man, and typically when he’s on the mound, especially as of late. The athletics have been able to give him some run support as well. So, shout out Jeffrey Springs. He will have a tough challenge going into Houston, though. I mean, this Houston team has been just so damn good at home this season. 33 and 19 straight up at home. you know, they rank second in the league in batting average, top 10 in OPS, um top 15 in home runs, top 15 in total runs as well, top five in hits. This team just knows how to get on base. Um so I think Jeffrey Springs could come down to earth a little bit in this one. Whereas on the other hand, you do got Ryan Gusto. I’m not the biggest Ryan Gusto guy. I mean, he’s just kind of a middle middle of the pack type of guy. 446 RA, six and three record. But I really think this game is going to be made in the later innings. Um because let’s be real guys, these bullpens are night and day difference. Um you know, the Astros top five bullpen in the league. They have a bullpin erra of a 330, whereas the Athletics have the second worst bullpen in the league with a 548 ERA. You got to you do got to mention that, you know, these athletic this athletics pitching staff does play in that ballpark in Sacramento, which is a very hitter friendly ballpark. So, I do give him a grain of salt with that. But at the end of the day, I think the bullpen is going to make the difference in this game. And for those reasons, I am going to be on the Astros. Look, I I love what I’ I’ve seen from Jeffrey Springs as of late. But this Astros team is not a team I want to fade in Houston. Like I said, 33 and 19 straight up at home where whereas we’ve seen the Athletics struggle um when going on the road. So, I’m going to be on the Astros here. Even with Ryan Guso on the mound, I just think they’re the better team and I think it’s a better spot for them. So, that’s going to do it, guys. I appreciate you watching this.
