IIRC, they'd play it at the Coliseum during the welcome announcement but only one of my friends can corroborate this. Perhaps my other friends were too faded from tailgating? Or did I dream this up?

I do! 😔 That’s one of the many memories I have about going to A’s games. The games in Sac are very sterile and have no charm or anything.
Yes! With Roy Steele, the “Voice of God,” reading those announcements! That’s how I have that song seared in my brain as a great memory. Will always remind me of the A’s at the Coliseum.
