Putrid Pittsburgh Pirates Offense Held to 1 hit through 11 in Loss to Snakes
You know, if you don’t laugh, you’ll cry sometimes. The Pirates were just one hit in 11 innings. To lose to the Diamondbacks one- nothing. It’s not just Paul Ske or Mitch Keller that can’t get run support tonight. Mike Burroughs went six scoreless and got himself a fat nothing as far as run support goes. Hi, this is Gary from Lockon Pirates. The offensive frustration continues. Brian Reynolds just does not look himself at the plate in any way, shape, or form. I wish that I could tell you I thought this was a normal drop off for a guy that’s getting into that kind of territory. That’s not what it looks like to me. This just looks like a guy that can’t find any kind of semblance of timing whatsoever. Sometimes the best thing to do with Brian in that situation is to give him the rare day or two off in a row. They don’t do it very often, but I think it’s getting warranted at this point. Plus, you’ve only got a couple days left. Showcase your bench. You know, hey, give Pagaro a start. Give Canario a start. Give Reynolds a couple days to sit down and think about what’s going on at the bat because it ain’t happening right now. From either side of the plate, he looks outmatched. More on this on Monday on Locked on Pirates. You know, unless I see you before then because of a trade.

Yep, that run differential looks worse by the day.
I think everyone's done. I imagine a few of them are hoping they're traded
