They want free money even though they are billionaires. This isn’t just an Oakland thing but ownership mentality across multiple leagues and sports.
Fans foot the bill and then have to pay hella extra money for tickets as well.
Yeah the only difference with Oakland and a lot of other cities in the same situation is Oakland didn’t cave to a billionaire wanting a real estate sweetheart deal the wah other cities usually do at the 11th hour. Oakland was actually offering to contribute more than Vegas is but it didnt matter.
THIS WILL CHANGE AFTER THE CBA..
