The tip of the day and the tip of the day is to look at the Boston Red Sox tonight against the LA Dodgers because they are 11 and one against teams averaging 1.5 or more home runs a game. So, tip of the day is Boston on the money line over the Los Angeles Dodgers. Uh, so we so we we got that. So, let’s dive in to today’s free play. Okay, we got the uh speaking of Los Angeles, we got the Los Angeles Angels once again hosting the Seattle Mariners. Seattle got some good news last night during their victory over the uh Angels. They’re going to acquire, they did acquire first baseman Josh Naylor from Arizona. I don’t know if he’ll be there today or not. I have not seen any reports to say if he will or won’t be there in Anaheim, but it certainly will boost Seattle having another offensive bat in in their lineup. Lineup wasn’t all that great to begin with. Naylor’s a good hitter, so that that can only help. And so that’s I think a positive for them. They are five games behind Houston in the AL West and they currently hold down the number two wild card spot. Angels, well, they’ve been on the fringes of the wild card pretty much all season. They win some, they lose some. Currently, they’ve lost four in a row and uh you know, we’re almost to August here. And so, right now, they uh they are, you know, they’re not so much on the fringes with that four losses in a row. They are now five games behind Boston for the last wild card spot, but to move up five games doesn’t sound like a lot, but they also have to jump over five other teams. So, that’s a pretty good task for a team that’s uh pretty mediocre, especially if you look at their uh run differential. So tonight, good pitching match up though. Got all-star Brian Woo 8 and5 291 RA facing the Halos. Jose Serrianiano 7-7. Not great, but a 338 RA more than respectable. If this game is close after six innings, okay, the advantage really swings to Seattle in this one. Their bullpen is ranked number 13, Angels number 28. Consider this teams like the Halos with a money line of plus 125 to minus 125 with a bullpen that has an RA of 450 or or higher and they’re facing an American League pitcher whose RA is below 320.
