One of the worst strike calls of the year was just called in the Angels-Mariners game

That’s an all timer. Jesus.
A bunch of them tonight. Each team has had 3-4 big ones.
This ump has been so inconsistent tonight too. Can’t wait to see the report card
This is embarrassing to the sport
Woo waked a batter after throwing 5 strikes earlier. Ump has been rough for both sides tonight.
ABS cannot come soon enough, as far as I’m concerned.

This has been one of the worst called games I’ve watched in a long time. On both sides.
It’s like an epidemic now with these horrendous calls. They aren’t even on the margins.
Maybe it is MLB’s plot to get uniform agreement on the ABS for next season.
On the bright side: at least it wasn’t an important situation like a tie game in the 9th inning. It was only tied with 8.2!

For anyone who watched the whole game, I’d wager the ump missed about 30 calls before this one that were nearly as bad
The umps are so unbelievably bad that 2 challenges is not near enough. Teams should have 10 challenges, or just auto call every single pitch.

Yeah, this was an atrocious call…and it was one of several that were a complete joke. I entirely think the umps are extra bad this year because they want to be replaced.
