Is this one of the worst home run calls ever? A’s broadcaster Chris Caray calling a 3-run shot by A’s Lawrence Butler 17 comments DB swooped in there to the rescue You gotta be kidding me. Everything about this organization except the players and coaches is just trash. Oof. I don’t remember her name, but the female that was in the booth last year had some real bad HR run calls too. It was terrible Probably which is a shame cause Chris is an overall good announcer. Chris was obviously shaken up after this call, DB did well to try to save him though From one of the best TV crew to the worst in a few short years. I feel bad for him, I think he’s better than Jenny Is he related to harry? Trust me.. Kurtz is very glad Chris Caray had the call for the video Kurtz and his future family will easily rewatch 100000 times or more That is an unbelievable call. The ball was nowhere close to foul. Was it 40 to 50 feet away from the foul pole but also deep in the seats? Did he lose track of the ball off the bat and then just watched the right fielders reaction? What happened? Everyone’s being way too hard on this guy – he made an error or live tv, big whoop. He is the worst. Always trying to be clever. Total nepotism. Their broadcast budget is the same as their player budget. Bruh I thought it was a play/joke on the umps horrible calls this game but it fell flat. I’m so glad I ceased being an A’s fan last year.
