Oneil Cruz BLASTS one into the stands!

Now you have O’Neal Cruz up that can change a scoreboard with one swing really quick. Oh my. Steven Morales, the first base coach for this series, would have had no chance to get out of the way. We mentioned our thoughts and prayers going out to Tark Brock, whose mom passed away a couple weeks ago. They’re having a service for her this weekend out in California. He had some communications with T Brock earlier today. He will be in San Francisco. So, we’re praying for your family, brother. Yep. [Music] 0 and one fly ball right center field. Just a matter of where it lands. That is way gone. A cruise missile. He clears the deck with his 17th cannonball. And he does change the scoreboard real quick. Two nothing. That is the thing you love about O’Neal Cruz in a lineup with runners on base. He can put up a crooked number really fast. And the Pirates get off to an early two nothing lead thanks to the long ball from O’Neal Cruz. His first home run since the home run derby. Man, I love these black uniforms. Home runs just look more special with the black on. I don’t know what it is. Throwbacks. [Applause] He’s hustling down the line, but he’s thrown out. 63. So, one of those runs unearned because of the air and O’Neal Cruz 17th home run. See the pitch up in the zone and see 67 long arms, but the ability to get those arms inside and get extension out in front and that’s what makes O’Neal special. Just a unique talent. And that home run is brought to you by UPMC. And he’ll tell you he didn’t get all of that. Crazy. Only 410. He’s a different individual.

  1. All this talk about this guy and hes only hitting 217🤣 i never thought that we would see and era where a guy hitting 217 or anyone hitting 250 would be celebrated just cause they hit the ball hard
