Highlights from ALL games on 7/26! (Vladdy CRUSHES one, Crochet vs Ohtani, Cal 40 HRs, and MORE!)

And a great catch from Davis Schneider going all out onto the side warning track. He makes the play slamming into the ground. Heinman pulls the bat back and as soon as he did, Jake Rogers fires a strike down to Zack McKinstry and Vlad was too far off. What a play. Kevin Gosman out of the game after six innings and what a night it was for Gauzeman. 10 strikeouts allowed just one hit. And when you’re going opposite TKO, you need to be near perfect. And Kevin was a little looper shallow center field. It drops. Throw home and they got Springer. Scoo goes full out Joker and just cannot believe it. The one two. He got him with 101. Terrick Scuba works out of a bases loaded. One out jam without allowing a run to score. Springer on second, low perfido on third. One out. Hit hard right side. Pass the dive of Torres into right field. It’s two nothing Blue Jays on a two-run single from Bobette. That ball’s gone. Another mistake from Lee. They’re pouring it on in the ninth up 6 nothing. Three homers in one inning alone. Booze in the crowd because they’re trying to drown out the let’s go Blue Jays chance that have persisted just across the border at Kame Park. And here’s the first pitch on Ward. Ball’s carrying deep out into center field and it is out of here. Out to left center field. Julio is going bonkers in LA. For the third time in his career, he has homered in three consecutive games. Randy smashes this to center. Adele watches it leave the yard. It’s a go-ahead smash by Randy Arosena. His fifth consecutive 20 homer season. Wow, that is an absolute missile. Cal Raleigh. The first to 40. Only the seventh catcher ever with a 40 homer season. A vapor trail left behind that one from the Mariners Allstar catcher Cal Raleigh. My goodness. Now you got to deal with Right Sarp. Wonder whose bat that is. He’s used deep right field. He’s not going to give that bat back. It is gone into the Yankees bullpen. 15th home run of the year for Bryce. Another lead off aboard for the Phillies. Here’s Sosa. Christian’s back. It is gone. Center field home run for Edmundo Sosa. And the Phillies lead it seven to one. Crochet against Otani. One-1 to Otani is lifted in the air to deep center field. It is gone to dead center field. The 38th of the year for Shi Otani is to dead center at Fenway off Garrett Crochet. And for Otani, his sixth home run in his last seven games. Lightning strikes early for the Dodgers. Tay Oscar swings and drives it deep to left. This one is back. It is over the monster and gone out on the landsdown streak. Two nothing Dodgers on two first inning home runs against Garrett Crochet. And the Red Sox have the tying runs in scoring position toward the triangle and it’s over the head of Pahes. Two-run score. Duran round second. He heads for third. Throw home. Not in time. Two-run triple for Duran. And we’re tied at two. Toro into center field. Pah is there. Pah’s throw has no chance. Red Sox take the lead. So Garrick Crochet tonight after giving up two home runs over the first three hitters of the game. No runs after that. He racks up 10ks. Did not have the command he normally has, but he had the strikeout putaway pitch. Michael Harris swinging a good bat up there. Michael Harris has doubled, tripled, and now homered. He’s hotter than a dancing Bobcat. And let’s see if Michael Harris can get the cycle right here. And a liner towards left field that will bounce by the left fielder Langford. He’s motoring for third and he’s in there. Two triples, a double and a homer. What a night for Michael. Five ball game. The Rangers have two men on, nobody out for Marcus Simeon. And there’s a swing to ground ball up the middle. That’s a base hit around third base. Smith. And the Rangers have won it. What a night. What a home stand and what a moment for Marcus Simeon. Still nothing. No nothing. Talkman going back at the track near the wall. He leaps and it’s gone. Ian H gives the Cubs the lead. Solo shot to right center. One- nothing Cubs over the White Socks. Deep left down the line. If it stays fair, it’s gone. It’s gone. Matt Shaw with a tworun home run into the left field corner and the Cubs go up three to nothing over the White Socks. Shay Langalers hammer to left. That’s trouble and gone. A home run for Shay Langalers. It’s two nothing Athletics. Towering drive to right field and it is gone. A three-run homer for Butler and the A’s lead it five to one. That ball was absolutely launched. Law Dog posing him up at the dish. Cruz with 16 home runs. Fly ball right center field. Just a matter of where it lands. That is way gone. A Cruz missile. He clears the deck with his 17th cannonball. And he does change the scoreboard real quick. Two nothing. Abbott in just about a 100 innings only given up 10 home runs this year. Swinging a high drive. Back goes Fredel to the wall. Gone. Solo homer. Deand Diaz and the Rays break the shut out. One to nothing. Tied 2-2. Ellie 387 in his career with the bases loaded including two grand slams. Falling. It’s slicing and it’s down for a hit. It’s a two-run go-ahad bloop single by Ellie De La Cruz. 42 Reds. What a great at bat. Backto back games. Tyler O’Neal’s gone deep. Three to nothing here in the second inning. And that scalded towards the gap in left center field. Mullins on the run. Reaches out, dives, and he makes the catch. Holy smokes. Cedric Mullins does it again. A headlong dive, sprinting back to his right into the alley in front of the bullpens. He goes full extension airborne. And here is Cedric Mullins. Fly ball to right field at the wall. Number 100 for Cedric. Take it all in Cedric Mullins. He’s the third ever Orio with 100 home runs. You talk about everybody getting off the tarmac and up in the air. The Orioles are in flight big time tonight. They’ve got nine runs now in this seventh inning. Ravens preseason starting early and it’s 18 to nothing Baltimore. Austinine Ramirez in opposite field shots. Homer number 15 on his season. Gone. A go ahead. Two out three-run bomb for Ary Berto Hernandez. Dane Meyers gets into the act here in the sixth and the Marlins are teeing off on the Brewers here tonight. You were clamoring for insurance and you got it. Dane Meyers. The runners at second and third. Here is Vientos. That’s going to go to the corner and the Mets will take the lead. Sodto and Marte score. Bentos to second with a two-run double. And the Mets flip the script. It’s two to one New York given another opportunity. Vientos comes through. The bases are loaded. Here’s CJ Abrams. Swings first pitch and drives one down the right field line. That’s a fair ball into the corner. A bases clearing double for CJ Abrams and it’s five nothing Nats. This game went sideways in the blink of an eye. It’ll be up to Bryce Johnson to finish the deal and bring Croninworth in. Sean Bond the safety squeeze towards first base. Contra comes home and he’s safe. Padres’s take a two-1 lead. Cronorth gets in. Runner at third, one out. The Padres’s are playing for insurance. Grounded to short stop and it’s bobbled there by Win. Reynolds score. Throw to first is in time, but the Padres’s get an insurance run as Johnson gets in. Mason Win with the infield in. Had a chance to come playward, but uh not after he bobbled it, but an RBI ground out does the job. The potential tying run over to second base. Rochio’s now the potential go-ahead run at first. And it’s off the wall. Rochio being waved around with a go-ahead run. Wit throw to the plate in time and they got him. Great relay there from the Royals. This is a brand new ball game. The Royals are still looking for their first hit with a runner in scoring position today. Hit high in the air deep left field. Quan turns around. Looks up. It’s out of here. A game winner for Jonathan India. What a massive swing. The Royals go from down one to winning it five-3 in 10. That is Jonathan India’s biggest swing in a Royals uniform. Now the infield in with one away for Quan. Looks up. It’s gone. Steven Quan with a two-run shot. Ninth home run of the season. The Guardians now lead six-2. Two from Bobby and throws this one deep left field. No doubt about it. Two-run shot. Bobby Wit Jr. The Royals pull to within two. Bobby Wit Jr. has brought the Royals right back into the center of this ball game. Class closes things out. The Guardians and Royals split the Twin Bill here in Kansas City. 53 Royals in the opener in 10. 6-4 Guardians in the night count. For more on these and other stories, keep it locked to MLB.com. 1. I saw an article that said Red Sox player Marcelo Mayer will take some time to return, but is it correct that he is currently on the 10-day disabled list? Or is it that his injury has worsened and it will take some time before he can return?

  2. Will Patrick Sandoval be able to return to the major leagues this year? Will he be able to participate in next year's WBC? Will he be able to recover from his injury by next March and participate in the WBC?
