“Our Whelen Chevrolet had speed today. During the first run, our car fired off free, got better in the middle, and ended tight. Danny (Stockman, crew chief) made adjustments to stay ahead of the track, but our car’s balance shifted to the loose side for the rest of the race. We had some trouble on pit road during the last stop which cost us some track position. Our No. 2 team kept our heads down and rebounded the best we could. It was pretty hard to make passes with the low horsepower package, but I felt like we had a car to contend with. Can’t wait for Iowa next week. Appreciate the hard work and support from everyone at RCR and Whelen.”

“During the first run, our Bennett Transportation & Logistics Chevrolet was extremely tight. We got a crack in the nose of our car, which didn’t help the car’s balance. The No. 21 guys patched up the nose and adjusted to loosen us up, which definitely helped but we still needed a little more. We started the final stage in 25th and drove our way back to inside the top-10. During that run, the car was the best it had been all day by a long shot. Proud of the effort from our entire team.”
