  1. As a longtime Morris Twins hater, this is fantastic news

How do you do fraud with career earnings of $106,861,920?

    #FOE #FAMILYOVEREVERYTHING

  2. legitimately couldn’t stand him or his brother for being the biggest fake tough guys I think I’ve seen in pro sports

    what a jackass

  3. Smh so unfortunate I know I have no right to judge but wtf do some of these NBA players be thinking bro had one job just hoop bro 😭

  4. I know he was terrible on the court, but had no idea they could arrest him for being a fraud retroactively.

  5. As a Spurs fan who remembers how Marcus Morris handled the 2019 offseason, I say lol. Lmao even.

  6. How does somebody earning millions a year commit fraud? Bro fraud is for the peasants! The unemployed and the poor. Take your legit millions and don’t look back

  7. One of the crimes that an NBA player with half a brain would never need to commit. So no surprise Marcus committed it.

  8. The real fraud was his horrible play in the bubble versus the Nuggets when the Clippers were up 3-1

  9. It says elsewhere this was for writing a bad check. A similar thing happened to Chris Hansen of To Catch a Predator a few years ago. He was doing business with a merchandise vendor and having financial problems, a check bounced, and the vendor (maybe with bad blood) got him arrested before it was resolved. Served no time for it.

Now it could also be a situation like Sean Kingston and his mom, where they made wire payments for over $1 million in luxury goods but would later cancel the payments and keep the stuff. But that was a lot more serious than one bad check.

I wonder if it was a misunderstanding or minor issue like Chris Hansen, cause I doubt Morris was just randomly bouncing checks on purpose with $100 mill in career earnings; and a bad check is hardly an elaborate fraud scheme. Could be a broken down business deal (“I’m not paying you”). Though you never know depending on the amount or if he thought he could get away with basic stealing. Nikola Pekovic is apparently now a straight up crime lord in Eastern Europe after all.

And based on his antics in the NBA, the dude and his brother are punks. So there’s that factor too lol.

  10. Could we force them into having to fight the Jokic bros as part of any penalty please? Thank you.

  11. He owes a casino some money it’s intentionally misleading.

His agent is online talking about it. The casino can get a warrant for your arrest. The amount is apparently 1200

  12. Aw man, oh well. Its always free the guys. Fraud? Like what the hell is that?
