FOUR HOMERS IN ONE GAME FOR ROOKIE NICK KURTZ! (Best single-game MLB performance EVER?! 😳)

So here’s Curts now. The DH tonight. 01 driven the other way and down for a hit. Hmel moves over to get it and it’ll be a long single for Curts. That extends his hitting streak to 12 games. Now he goes inside out deep to left. Four. Forget about that baseball. Come on. It’s It’s ridiculous. His 20th of the year. Make that 39 extra base hits for Curts on the year. And that is a screamer to left. Five to nothing. And Chris, this ball is just sort of flipped out of the ballpark by Nick Kirks. One, two, high in the air deep left center field, traveling back is Hmel and it is off the wall. Cortez coming around to score and Curts has a double to the deepest part of the ballpark. Churn it up, Big Amish. A swing as smooth as butter, baby. My goodness. I mean, you close your eyes and squint, it’s almost like it’s a sprinkler up there cuz it just continues to spray, spray, spray in all directions. And Nick Kurt’s picking on the left side here recently. One in the air to deep left. Houston, you do have a problem. His name is the big Amish. This kid is incredible. 10-2, his second home run of the night, his 21st of the year. And the Astro Faithful are fed up with Curts. And if you’ve got a seat to this ball game in the crocket boxes, just hold tight. Nick Curts will get you a souvenir sooner or later. I mean, what used to be impressive about a week ago is almost expected at this point with Nick Curts. First pitch. Oh my. Oh my goodness. It’s unbelievable. This kid is on another planet. Nick Curts is in a universe all his own. His teammates at this moment in time are more so in awe of what Nick Curts is doing as opposed to celebrating what they’re seeing. Swing and a drive deep to left. He’s done it four times. What a magical night for the big Amish. Smooth as butter, baby. Shouting it out. Incredible. Simply incredible. First player in athletics history and first rookie in major league history with a four homer game.

  1. NOONE—AND I MEAN NOONE ever mentioned Jim Thome when they mentioned Nick Kurtz until I left a scouting report on his college highlight real on youtube weeks before the draft. I read articles, scouting reports, all different places talking about the top prospects and not one mentioned comparing his skill set to Jim Thome. I wrote what I wrote in my personal scouting report on this kid and it wasnt even a week later I heard guys on ESPN and other networks and articles online comparing him to Jim Thome…haha …Im glad I could help fellas!!!

  2. Shawn Green was my favorite player growing up. I can still remember when he hit 4 in Milwaukee and how the brewers fans gave him ovation even though he was an opponent. I'm blown away that Houston fans would be booing this moment. They just witnessed one of the rarest feats in baseball IN PERSON and are so tacky that they would boo. Shame on Houston fans.
