Top MLB Plays of 7/27! (Jo Adell ROBS a home run, Lawrence Butler’s diving catch and MORE!)

He goes, “Good jump.” Pitch called a strike. Throw out pretty. Good one. Got it. Oh, look at Trovinho. Trevinho was walking towards the Reds dugout as the call was made at second as if to say, “Yeah, I got him.” This is grounded left side. Marte handles fire. Just got it. That is a great play by Marte. Didn’t have to think about it a lick. It’s all action. Came and got it. Throws the ball to first as if he was turning a double play at shortstop. Nice job. Three and two. Swing and a foul tip. Held on to by the catcher Jackson. Throw to second base. Out. A strike three double play. And what a throw by Alex Jackson. And a skyhigh popup. Nico lets it get him. They’ll fire to third. Wow, smart baseball. But a brilliant play by Nicoer. Got to love that double play. Unbelievable. Line drive. Caught. Maybe a double play. Dives. Oh, he’s out there. He’s out. I mean, just a heck of a play. I mean, he’s playing in the right spot. And you have to lay out. Try to beat him to the bag. Put him in center. Put him in second. I tell you what, not bad for a Gold Glove center fielder, right? Big chop off the plate. And a dive. Shanuel had to tackle that ball as it landed softly in front of him on the infield grass at first and then he went diving to the bag. That one is looped and caught by McMahon. Little looper going to his left. He retreated a couple of steps, got up in the air. Nice play to take a base hit as Harper stares him down. A locket to left field and Rosarena dives and he shows proof. He makes the catch on a low sinking rocket off the bat of Zack Neto. Comes in there. You got to be aggressive and he was and he’s able to make that play. A line drive out into left and a sliding grab by Langford coming in into his left sliding to his glove side. Caught that about maybe a foot and a half, two feet above the ground. One-1 ground ball and grabbed by McMahon. He gets the out at first despite the speed. What a play by McMahon. The quickness to get up, the strong arm to get a speedy Trey Turner. Wow, what a play. And he’ll swing at the first pitch. This one to shallow left and caught. Bo Bashed went out and caught that ball. What a play by Boette. But watch the glove work right here. He just scoops underneath it. It’s a fly ball to left. Yell. It’s coming on to make the play. Yell goes into a feet first slide, makes the catch just before it hits the grass. And it’s a one, two, three inning into left, following quickly. And a diving catch by Cooper Hmel. Hmel coming straight in and making that diving play for the first out. But he’s able to lay out, get that glove under it, and hold on. Served out to left center field. On the run is Rojos. He’ll get there. Makes the catch. Tagging third is Bellinger. The throw by Rojos is high. He is out. JT went high in the sky and pulled it down and applied the tag on Bellinger. That is a huge play for the Phillies. Absolutely is. Rojos let it rip and then JT man is he athletic. On the ground in the hole. Difficult play. Adamus long throw. Nice play Willie Adamus to cut down Alvarez. That’s a gold glove play right there by Willie Adamus. Deep in the shortstop hole off balance making a throw. Ground ball deep in the hold short. Backhanded by Schuman. Long throw to first and dug out on the other end by Ursella. How about Shu? And the key to this play here is the fact that Max Schuman not only got to it, got to it quickly, but gathered it and got rid of it quickly as well. Revolutions higher than average. Joey Ortiz pops the first pitch. He sees up and right in the corner. Jesus Sanchez in foul ground. He leaped up. Got it. And uh did he make the catch? Oh yeah, I’m looking at it. Catch. There we go. Moesu Sanchez went leaping up against the padded wall in foul ground in right field. Up the middle, Brooks Lee on the shortstop side. Long throw and Clemens with a stretch and the catch. And that’s a wonderful play by Brooks Lee on the shortstop side of the infield. Covered so much ground and man the arm strength is on display. Not to mention great effort from Clemens on his end. broke his bat and a backhand play by Cameron. How about that finish to the inning with an exclamation point. He wasn’t even looking, but it went right into the glove and a Houdini. Slap to center. Fredel on the move. Makes the grab on the slide. Two down. What a long run for Fredel. When that ball went up, I thought that was a hit. And Fredel closed that ground in a hurry. One, two toar. Kicks off the top of the bump. Lunging grab made by Westber from the grass to get the out. Great play by Jordan Westber. Sprawling to his right. It doesn’t matter where you play Jordan Westber. He is an above average defender right here. Little flare foul. Durban on the run. Durban makes the catch and slides to a stop. Well done, Caleb Durban. I didn’t think he had a chance. Showing some speed. He got it in the webbing of the glove. Oh, what a play by Otto Kemp. That was outstanding. Positioned perfectly and he reels it in on the dive. Tap towards the middle. Diving stop made by Henderson. Pops up, gets it to first in time to get the out. What a play by Gunner. He made a diving stop on a ground ball back to the bag at second. got up quickly and then fired a strike to first base. Chopped up the middle and what a play. How about that play? That’s Jose Glacius. OMG up the middle. There’s the high chopper. Jose, do your stuff. Line to right. Walker coming on and makes a diving catch. He lays out and makes the play on the dive on a ball that was curving away from him. Well done. And a fly ball short right. That ball will be caught racing out. Gray from second base got there in shallow right field to make that catch. What a catch by Montgomery at third. just lays out for the first out here in this eighth inning. Montgomery covering a lot of ground, but it was in foul territory where he caught it. There’s a swing of a fly ball in the air to center field. Myers is going back onto the warning track at the wall. He leaps and he’s got it. Dane Meyers leaps up and takes at least a double away from Christian Yelich. He reached to the top of that wall in straightaway center field. 3-2 fly ball right center field. That’s trouble. Lawrence on the run, diving try and he got it. Lawrence Butler robbing Altuve of an extra base hit. And once again, it is the law committing the robbery. Lawrence Butler, get on your horse and ride. Tracking him down in that right center gap. The Law Dog lays out. Crawford a charge to center field. Adele reaches up. Joe Adell winds up with the ball. Robbery from Joe Adell in center field. I mean, he got some hops on that one. That was great timing by Joe Adell.
