Always liked the guy since his start in Chicago, in 2021, had a no no until the ‘rain delay’ ruined it. Awesome to see him this year. Sucks it ends like this. Hoping he can come back next year and be the same
My question is why did we not shut him down the moment he felt soreness? He’s already had TJ once, no reason to risk yet another long term arm injury
This was so predictable. Even the most amateur baseball eye knew something was wrong after the first 10 pitches in his last start. A more astute eye knew something was wrong in his previous starts. That much of a velocity dip is enough to shut someone down. Management is at least partly to blame.
How close is Alec Marsh?
Q needs to be in the hot seat and answering some serious questions about his decision making after this. It was obvious to anyone not in our coaching staff that they should have pulled Bubic after the first couple of batters. Instead he ran him back out there and I’m sure injured him worse. Pathetic.
Damn that sucks. We are already down Ragans. Lorenzen should hopefully be back soon.
Sadly I don’t think he has an arm to be a starter though light out stuff I think time to be full time bullpen. He already threw twice the innings he did in bullpen after tommy John year!

Oof. Thats a tough one but this year wasn’t going to be the year anyway. I think they’re just trying to keep the band together and buy cheap where they can for next
