NBA LIVE! LAKERS VS WARRIORS | FULL GAMEPLAY | NBA PRE SEASON 2025 | JULY 28, 2025 | 2K25
Clark. Well, they’ve got two main ingredients. One, you’ve got to have a system that demands unselfishness. And then you need players that are willing to play unselfishly. And they’ve got both of those things. [Music] Donic with it. Let’s take a look at our starters for the Golden State Warriors. Curry and Cat out there with Jayon Green. And it’s in the three. And he’s got such great hands. Aiden corrals rebounds and doesn’t lose his touch on follow-ups. Outside Curry launches a three. Good. And Butler gets the assist. And that’s what they want to do. Get him open looks early. Donic passes to James. Here’s Aiden. Green covering. Back to James. To the middle up top. Five to shoot. Another shot. And that’s two points on the layup. Combination of finesse and bully ball in there. That’s it. Outside booty. [Applause] First quarter. Just over a minute play. The three from Curry and the shots off. One for two in this one. Angeles. They bunches two for four from the floor. Don with the bucket. Yeah, Lucas. Arsenal does cover the mid-range. Now that inside the arc jumper is easy for him. Curry surveys against Butler outside booty. Now here’s Butler. no good from outside and I’m surprised that I mean I’m sure he is too James knocks down the long J not the guy you want to give three-point opportunities to doesn’t hesitate to take these shots and knock them down outside booty back to Curry looking to win the run and he sinks the layup. Curry’s got five now. Steph’s got such rush hour handlers. Boy, Curry sometimes impossible to contain with his ball handling and array of moves. You know, Clark, with the Lakers, at times it is hard to maintain a sense of continuity. Boy, it sure is. Be I mean, there’s always pressure to improve or be at your best, but even more so when you’re playing in the blitz and glamour of LA and all that history. And because of that, sometimes it can lead to high team turnover when you’re playing for the Lakers. Well, last season we saw Luca Donic score 73 points, tied for fourth most in NBA history. BA, he is so special. And the thing about the 73 he got, it was the most efficient 70point game in league history. And with how offense heavy the league is going, I wouldn’t put it past him to go north of Kobe Bryant’s mark of 81 at some point. He’s got that kind of ability. [Music] [Music] What’s up? [Music] The free throw off from Donic. Clark, when you watch Luca Donuch play, how is he able to just control the games like he does? He’s a surv. That’s all I can say. He’s way ahead of himself. I mean, this guy’s been a pro since he was 13 or 14 years old. There’s nobody else in the NBA that can think. So unique in that regard. great size, uncanny, underrated strength, and then his vision, his pace, all of that what allows him to really not ever be sped up or out of control. Now, here’s Hachimura. Back to Donic. Count that bucket. Give him eight points. Now uses his body to create space and then finds the inside look. Curry against Dunic. 43. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. James with the ball now guarded by Moody. Now here’s James tightly guarded and it’s going to be a 3second call. Warriors trail by five. [Music] Here’s Pajki outside. Butler beyond the arc drains the triple. This team does a good job of keeping Butler involved in everything. Los Angeles has gone one of two from three-point land so far. [Music] Curry against Duch [Music] left side Reeves. Shot clock at six for three. Kic no good. And so it’s Green who brings up the ball for the Warriors. Trailing by two. [Music] Here’s Curry for three. Pulls it down. And you never want to give a shooter like him a clean look. James outside to Aimura. Kicks it to Donic. This one for three. Fires in the triple. Dantis has scored 11 points. Watch out now when Dantis is dialed in deep because he’s rebounded. And Steve Kerr called time out. He wants a few moments to regroup with his players. Heat. [Music] Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat up [Music] here. Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] and the Lakers making a change here. Vanderbilt’s checked in. [Music] Lakers on D leading by five [Music] inside. Here’s Green and it’s deep ball by Green. Curry’s got such a great feel and understanding of the game. I mean, he can make a lot happen in the pick and roll. [Music] The Lakers have got seven of 11 shots to find the mark. Donic against Curry. Top of the key. Donic. No good. Usually, guys, he’s going to knock that one down from there. proficient at operating in that medium range area. Back to Curry. Green with a screen on Donic. Six on the shot clock. Curry against Donic and Aiden pulls it down. The Lakers lead by three. And keeping us updated from the sideline, Alli the Force. This is Luc. He talked about the task of facing Jimmy Butler. Fiery wing. Coach said you can talk about the scouting report all you want with Jimmy, but he brings the extra dimension. Butler has the attitude that is unmatched in the league. The passion of Jimmy Butler in full focus tonight. Brian Ally, thank you. And the bucket is good. But Jimsky’s got five. We see this every night. He has the skill and versatility to keep a defense guessing. Donic pass is contained. Back to Donic [Music] and it goes as the official calls the foul. Count it and he’ll shoot one more at the line. Los Angeles is shooting their second attempt at the line tonight. Heels checked in for Stephen Curry. [Music] [Music] What’s up? That’s good from Donic. Now, one of the things I like about watching Donic is the pace he plays at. You’re not going to speed him up. He plays at his pace, the pace he dictates. Now, here’s Pensky. He’s got five pass to Butler over Vanderbilt. Shot by Butler. No good. Los Angeles leading by six. [Music] And he loves it. Oh, and the jam by Aton. Excellent timing by Aton on the alley pass. He’s perfectly positioned to throw it down. Golden State has gone three of seven from beyond the arc in the first. Green a screen. You look at Draymond Green’s career. You think he’s going to the Hall of Fame? You know, BA, I believe so. He’s won multiple titles and we know how impactful he has been as a defender and distributor especially. I think we’ll see him in Springfield one day. [Music] You throw good green. And when you look back at the 2023 draft, the Warriors got great value out of their picks. Yeah. I mean, they got Pimsky with the 19th pick, a versatile player who impacts the game at both ends. And they also got Trace Jackson Davis late in the second round. And he is a fundamentally sound big man with great upside. And both free throws good for Green. How about that in season tournament win for the Lakers in 2024? Yeah, honestly, it just makes sense that the first of those trophies would land with a historic franchise like the Lakers. Now, here’s Moody. Still no points outside [Music] now. Buzzler [Music] and he drives in. You know, sometimes the athleticism you buckle just too much for the defense. Sometimes you have to simply resort to giving up the foul on that drive. It’s his first trip to the line. And something I remember from their last outing, he was excellent at the charity strike. Yeah, I agree with you. I mean, he attacked, got to the line a bunch, and cashed in on his chances. Yeah, that’s a great asset to have, guys. Um, for any team coming down the stretch in close games, you’ve got a guy who’s confident and very good at the line. When he steps up there, you feel good about the first one. Continuing to work on refining this crowd. Butler puts in a great amount of time, maybe more than most. [Applause] [Music] Butler hits them both. The Lakers lead by four. Don passes to eight. Smart up top. Oh, a clear foul there on the missed shot. So he’ll get a pair at the line. It goes on Brandon Pajimki. Just the fact that Smart is so shifty with the ball makes the defender play him even tighter. Los Angeles shooting their third and fourth free throw shots of the night. [Music] Take a break. Take a break. Two shots. [Music] The first one falls. [Music] And so he hits both. And here’s Butler. He’s got five. And Steve Kerr calls timeout here. We might see him looking to make some tweaks to the strategy here. You know, one guy who’s been getting it done is Luca Donuch. He just continues to deal damage inside. They’ve got to figure a way to slow him down. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] Here’s [Music] [Music] he no point so far. Hook loose. It’s stolen by Smart. The finish flushes it down to the break. Smart is the best on defense and absolutely relentless in transition too. Field on the wing, defended by Smart. [Applause] Butler against James. Fade away. A nice shot by Butler. Butler’s got seven. This is the best place for Butler to shoot it from. He’s excellent at that in between shot. Back to Smart. Donic outside. Here’s Aiden. hat stuff. Doesn’t believe in soft finishes. The big fell is all about power. Warriors trail by eight. Pass the post now. Jackson Davis. Butler with the ball. [Music] Laid it in with a nice touch off the window. Nine points in the game. Look, he’s not the bulkiest guy in terms of his frame, butler is really fearless and plays with great confidence and toughness, and it’s hard to stop him because of that. Now, here’s eight. He has six. Here’s Smart. Knocks down the step back J. And the Lakers lead by eight. Got to fight harder to get over those screens. Well, I’m going to credit the screen. I mean, that’s a good strong pick he lays there. Butler against James. Pass to Santos. Butler on the wing. Nine points in the game. Just five to shoot. Tries again. And two free throws coming up as the whistle blows. He barely missed that. But just excellent at finding ways to get to the stripe, especially when he’s near the basket. [Music] [Music] That’s good from Butler and Graham. Despite the Warriors success over the last decade, it hasn’t always been this way for this franchise. Yeah, they didn’t have many winning seasons before they got Steph, Clay, and Dre. And you know, BA, from 1978 to 2012, they made the playoffs just six times. Now it misses. And when you look at the Lakers, a lot has happened since their championship run in 2020. Yeah, it really has, BA. And I think some of it you have to attribute it to a significant amount of roster turnover. And then you pair that with coaching changes. One of the keys to being successful in anything and at any level and in the NBA, stability, continuity. You got to executive management team, coaches, and players. And they’ve not had that. So, the consistency has been hard to find. That shot’s good. Well, you see what you have here. I mean, the unselfishness of Butler and often unsung trade events. Smart outside breeze. [Music] Santos pulls it in. That’s a rare miss for him inside. He may have just rushed a bit, maybe lost concentration, too. He for three and pulls it in. Los Angeles leading by five. Smart outside the wing. leaves. Kennedy makes it on the layup and the Lakers lead by seven. And once more this half they find a way to get great position inside. Here’s Butler to Santos. Now here’s Jackson Davis. Here’s Post. He’s able to get it back. Heel from outside gets the three to fall. The baskets were coming early and often in the first quarter. It’s Los Angeles leading by four and we’ll be back shortly for the start of the second quarter. [Music] And thanks again for tuning in. If you’re just joining us, we play through one quarter of action so far. All right, guys. What do you think about the offensive approach we’ve seen so far for the Lakers? So far, they’ve had a lot of success off fast break plays, and they’ll probably continue to push the tempo as much as possible. They’re also doing a really good job on the offensive boards, bagging their own groceries, doing whatever it takes to get those second chance points. [Music] And it’s Butler with the ball for Golden State. Four-point game. We’ve got Marcus Smart, Jared Vanderbilt out there with Connect. Then there’s Jackson Hayes and it’s Reeves in at the shooting guard position. That’s the group for the Lakers to kick off the second quarter. Here’s Connect guarded by Heel. Pass to Reeves. [Music] Clock at six. That’s going to be a goalending call here. So, they will count the bucket. He almost blocked that shot in time. Just a nan a second late. And the Warriors making a change here. Curry’s checked in. Warriors trail by six. Heel with the ball. [Music] Jackson Davis’s screen to the paint. Oh, some serious power to finish that one off. The bounce pass right on the money. Great set up. [Music] And we played just over a minute of basketball in the second quarter. They double him with Curry. Has to connect. Here’s [Applause] Vanderbilt. Smart with the ball. He’s covered by Curry. Off target from three-point range. [Music] A minute and a half gone in the second quarter. 11 ft out. Lakers with a rebound. Here’s Smart. Jackson Davis grabs a miss. Warriors trail by four to the inside. Post and the shot’s good. Post has got his first basket. Hey, when you got a laser like heel that can score it, those assist opportunities just go way up. Outside Reeves. There’s the three. Hits the three-pointer. Leaves has got five points now in this quarter. Remember the money’s on the line. The mid-range is still a big part of the elite players game. You’re right, BA. And really, it comes down to touch obviously and size certainly helps. And then the savvy and balance to create that space. That’s the post. Back to Curry. Jacks up a three. The shot off that time. who came out today planning to do as much damage from three-point range as possible. Well, it looks like it’s time to change up the plan, guys. Warriors trail by five. [Music] Here’s Post now healed. He’s covered by Reeves. Curry shot that time. Not on target. Smart with the defensive effort. He’s got a nice finish on the layup. leaves this back nine. Reliable approach getting the ball in the paint and going to work and Steve Kerr calls timeout. I think right now he must be looking at some adjustments from undrafted to closing games with LeBron and AD. What a story. It really is a great story. I mean, this guy has just continued to prove the doubters wrong. Nobody’s going to out compete him. He’s fearless. He’s got great skill. doesn’t lack for confidence. He’s one of my favorite players to watch [Music] [Music] Heat up here. [Music] Heat. Heat. So, both teams making some changes here. [Music] on defense. The Lakers, their defense is only allowed four points in the quarter. Here’s Pinsky and he knocks it down. He’s three of five now from the floor here in the second quarter. Just under three and a half minutes played. Reeves. The pass to Hayes. Back to Reeves. And there’s James from the arc. There for three. I tell you what, you got to track Brown all over the floor. He’s going to make it back outside for Jimky. Down low. [Music] The jump hook. It’s Green missing. Los Angeles lead by eight. Aimura. Pass to James. Pass to Smart. [Music] from hallway and Los Angeles. Another three as smart has always been a good passer, but in recent years he’s really honed in on his playmaking abilities. Here’s Post. [Music] And here is Green. Here’s Curry. And he was fouled in the active shooting. Opportunity for a three-point play here. And the balance Curry possesses is unique. Impressive at staying in control even when he gets fouled. He’s getting his first free throw attempt of the game here. Yeah. You know, that was one spot where they didn’t have to worry about him at all. I mean, at the free throw line, he was automatic. [Music] [Music] [Music] And Reeves has got the ball here for the Los Angeles Lakers. They’ve led by as many as 11. Nice to [Music] change passes to Aimura. Back to James. Down to five on the shot clock over Heel. A shot by James. No good. Warriors trail by eight. Heel finds Curry. Outside for Green. Heel from outside. And that one’s good. And Green with the assist. Green’s got three assists in the game. So, it’s Los Angeles now to the middle. Here’s Hayes. [Music] Finished off by Hayes. And this kind of sick slam is just one of the reasons this team is in charge of this game right now, you know. There’s an edge the way they play and a confidence they’re not afraid to show. Boy, I used to love going up and jamming it down like that, guys. Outside for Green. Picks up a three. Another three for Golden State. You’ve got to respect Green at the arc. If he gets open out there, he can make you pay. Los Angeles leading by four. Smart passes to James. Oh, LeBron just too much to handle inside. There’s only one thing on his mind. Get to the rim and take the defense out of the equation. [Music] Now here’s Curry. Give him eight points now. Green with a screen on Smart. And the officials will call the illegal screen here. One of the trickier plays to judge, but it would be hard to argue against the call. Yeah, you know, the officials aren’t nearly as lenient as they used to be on that call. As a matter of fact, I know I got away with a lot of those in my playing days, but that was 40 years ago. And the Lakers making a change here. Donic checked in. Butler’s checked in for the Warriors. Moody comes in for healed to the inside. Here’s James. Oh, what a tough shot by James. That’s as good as you can defend LeBron inside. And it’s still not good enough. outside pass to green against Curry and a foul called on the way up. So he’ll take two from the free throw line. That one on punches. You got to be careful how you guard Curry because he’s so skilled with the ball and as a shooter, he’s able to figure out ways to draw fouls. This is his second trip to the free throw line in this one. [Music] [Music] First one falls for him. Smarts checked in for the Lakers. [Music] [Music] And so he makes both from the line making it look effortless. Send this guy to the stripe. He’s going to cash in more than outside. [Music] It’s stolen by Curry. Pull on a fast break for the Warriors all the way to the rim. Curry as a defender. It’s got to be a feudal feeling when Curry’s in the zone like this. Donic passes to Aimura. Now here is James. Woody defends. James outside. [Music] [Music] Six to shoot. Second chance effort. Flip and gets the bucket inside. For all his strength and power, James can also be extremely graceful going off the defender with a really nice move there. Pass to Curry. Green with a screen on Smart. Now here’s Green. No good with the triple against Curry. [Music] James outside [Music] 10 ft away. James can’t get that one to fall and it’s Butler with the ball for the Warriors. They trail by six. [Music] Butler a screen on Smart. Here’s Curry. Rebound. The Lakers and the defense gets bailed out by the miss. He usually converts that. Here’s Aimura and he’s going to the line for two. The officials saw contact while he was going up. Clark Aimura has always been a monster with a strength. He knows how to use his frame. He sure does and he has an ample frame VA and working out with LeBron during the summer and training certainly hasn’t hurt him in that regard. He knows how to use his body, but he’s also become a pretty reliable three-point shooter and allound scorer. [Music] Throw good heels checked in for the Warriors. [Music] and both free throws good for Aimura. Here’s Butler. He’s got 10 outside booty. Heels from outside. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. Hayes has got five rebounds tonight. Here’s a rebound by Moody. A rare miss for him at point blank range. That’s one he’d like to have back. Pass to Heel. Green with a screen on James. And the basket by Heel. A very efficient range shooter. You expect he’ll to take these shots. Here’s James. 14 points for him to the paint. Here’s Hayes. What a finish though by Hayes. Wow. That type of finish is just deflating right now for a team that’s trying to make a comeback. Ouch. That’s certainly a big time finish right there. It was one big exclamation point or maybe even a question mark. And guys, I know there are a lot of questions right now defensively for this team. There’s no doubt about that. And he’s coming off a huge performance and his confidence couldn’t be any higher. And his coach knows that, too. Showing no signs of slowing or cooling down. They’re going to ride him as far as he can take it. Donic throwing his weight around. It always seems like Donic is playing with something to prove. Well, I tell you what, he’s proving plenty tonight. [Music] Outside heel back to Butler. [Music] Butler with the jam. A bit undersized. His hops make him a legit small ball forward. Pass to Donic. [Music] Smart outside. That three’s off the mark. Warriors trail by five. Right side. Pajimki. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] outside Butler. [Music] Here’s Pachki from behind the ark. It’s Hayes with the rebound. Hayes has got six rebounds in the game. [Applause] Smart up top defended by Pachki. Machimura outside to the wing on the left. Here’s Smart and the rebound goes to the Warriors. Green’s got four rebounds in the game. It’s a 4sec differential between the shot clock and game clock and it’s good. Two points. Jimmy Butler showing us some nice moves and strong handles too. And they can run out the clock here. No need to rush it. Yeah, don’t give them another possession here. [Applause] [Music] Smart looking around pass to Donic [Music] and he left. Whoa, love that flame. Defense disorganized, defense page. Well, I tell you what, guys. This is really getting close to being real ugly. The first half comes to a conclusion in a game that’s been very close so far. Lakers ahead. They lead by five. Well, now we have some time to check in with Ally Leforce. Ally, here with coach Steve Kerr. Your defense struggling to contain them in the first half. How do you remedy it? We got to get back in transition and we got to make them feel us. You know, they’re just running anything they want. We’ve got to at least disrupt the stuff they’re trying to do. Thank you, coach. All right, Ally. Thanks for that. We will see everyone right back after this break. Ready for the second half. [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] And after a fairly even first couple of quarters, this second half could turn out to be a great one as both teams trying to gain an edge. Boy, really an incredible game here from Luca Donic. Through the first two quarters, he’s been on fire. Explosive offensive performance. And you know what? I’ll be interested to see just how much he’s got left in the tank. That first half had to take a lot out of [Music] [Music] Warriors trail by five on the floor for the Warriors. Curry and Pod make up the back court. Moody is out there with Butler and it’s Green in at the five spot. Outside Curry [Applause] up and over with a rebounder has got four rebounds now inside. Here’s Aiden. Well timed pass and he goes straight to the bucket for the layup. Aiden’s got eight points. And when you let Aiden get the ball close, it’s over. DeAndre is just too skilled. Outside Green Moody with it. James is there. Green a screen. Curry shot his own. Boy, I’m absolutely shocked he didn’t get that one though. Usually he’s running from deep. Pass to Aton. Now Aimura. And here’s James, three-pointer. Jimmy Butler with a rebound. Butler’s got his fourth rebound in this one. Down low. Here’s Curry. It’s rebounded by Los Angeles. James has got five rebounds tonight. [Music] Machimura against Butler. James left side. It’s rebounded by Golden State with it now. Donic defending outside. Butler [Music] [Applause] fires the three. Boom. Three for Jimmy. Quick on the roll there. The speed of Button makes him a problem for the defense. Outside Reeves [Music] back to Donic. [Applause] Pass to Aiden [Music] [Applause] [Music] from Deceed by Jimmy Butler. Warriors trail by four. [Applause] [Music] Just under two and a half minutes into this third quarter now. Takes a three. Another three for Golden State. Butler is a selective three-point shooter, but he’ll knock them down if he gets a quality look outside. Reeves [Music] [Applause] outside. [Music] Donic feeling it out a bit. Eight on a screen on Curry and Dons launches from deep tried to answer back. That three is off the mark. Butler on the wing. Back to Pajki. Passes to Green. Now here’s Budler with the lead. Leave pulls it down right side. over Moody and the basket by Hatchim’s got seven points in the game. A smart decision maker with a versatile skill set. Hatchim always takes the shots that he’s comfortable with. Pass to Butler. [Applause] Green. A screen. Butler passes to Green. Excellent D there from Ethan. Oh, gritty defense protecting the rim at all costs against a guy who has all sorts of ways to finish. Locked in range shot on his winning attempts in a tight game. They wanted to make sure of that possession outside Buckner. Pass to Moody. He’s off for that one. Some solid defense from James. The Lakers lead by five. Here’s a team up and it’s cleared by Stephen Curry. Well, the defense refusing to give up anything easy. Love seeing that kind of intensity inside. Here is Green. He’s covered by Eton. Green in the post. It’s against Eaton. And it’s Green missing. Los Angeles has got nothing to fall from outside in this third quarter. Here’s Eightton. Yep. Eightton’s got six in his quarter. You’ve got to box out on the boards. When you don’t, that’s what happens. Curry passes to Moody. That’s to Curry. Pass to Butler. The three and it drops and it comes off an assist from Curry. Curry’s got three assists in the game. This is what it’s been since halftime. Remarkable results from downtown. Boy, he’s been a three-point barrage. They came out gunn it and have not stopped. And so JJ Reic calls for the timeout. He’s going to talk it over with his guys. [Music] [Music] Heat up [Music] here. Heat [Music] up [Music] here. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] And here’s He’ll bring it up for Los Angeles. They’ve led by as many as 11. James inside. Woody defends. Count the basket. James has got 16 points left. LeBron skill level is so great. I mean, that mid-range is not his go-to, but he can do it all. So, it looks like it’s part of his go-to. And here’s Butler outside. And the Warriors with another three. And that bucket from beyond the arc puts them within reach. He’s really been putting that shot to work. You bet he has. I mean, working overtime. The triple’s been his bread and butter in this ball game. Nothing but sweet butt. You think that’s how you up the right back at a little back and forth from long range. I love it. That’s a terrific answer there. Curry from deep three-point land. He can’t answer back. The three-pointer offline. Los Angeles is leading by six to the inside and itachi mur missing. Golden State has gone four of seven from three. A good percentage in the third corner. There’s always a spot for a guy like Draymond Green on your side. Incredible defender. He’s unselfish offensively and a highly skilled passer. [Applause] And a moment now to quickly take a look at the offensive approach for Los Angeles. The fearlessness they’ve shown going strong inside has been impressive. The defense hasn’t been very effective against them. They brought the hard hats and the lunch bells with them, too. Done some great work down inside. No good on the free throw. Vanderbilts checked in for AI. The Warriors also with a sub. Heels checked in for Moody. [Music] And he can’t get the second one to drop either. Coming up empty that time. Out of bounds. It’ll go to the Warriors. Warriors trail by six. The three from Curry and that one’s good. And Green with the assist off a pass. Steph Curry. That one is always going in or almost always going in. Donic passes to Reed. Lex fly delivers from range. Defensively got to close off a little faster. That’s a look he’ll make with regularity. Butler on the wing guarded by Vanderbilt. That is Curry for three. Another three for Golden State. This is how competitive Curry is. He’s got a great competitive spirit. You drain a three on him, guess what? He’s looking to come right back at you. Donic passes to Le and the three off target. The Warriors have gotten six of 14 shots to drop in this third quarter. Pass to Butler [Music] over Aiden. Rebound the Lakers. Donic outside. Aiden with a screen. [Music] Here’s Reeves. Launches it. Another score. His fifth take out of Tim. So good at seeing the floor. Don able to set up his open team. [Music] And Steve calls timeout. He’ll take the opportunity to regroup. There’s just a lot of wide open lanes to the rim here that’ll drive your coach nuts. And you know, I think he’s going to tell them simply, we have to show more fight on the interior. That’s the top priority right now. [Music] Heat up here. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Pass to Butler. Green with the ball. Oh my. came close to a four-point play. He’ll head to the line for three free throws. Nice work that time by Draymond to draw the foul while in the act of shooting there. This is his third trip to the free throw line of this game. Three shots. Three shots. [Music] That free throw misses on the second one. [Music] and he nails the third. And so it’s Donic with it. He brings it up for Los Angeles. They’ve led by as many as 11. Outside Vanderbilt. [Music] Pass to James. The three is up and grabs the board. Warriors trail by four. Clark, what’s incredible about LeBron? He makes as big of an impact off the court as he does on it. BA, I think he’s going to be one of the great case studies when he’s all done playing, how he’s impacted the game and uplifted people across country and world. He’s a tremendous advocate for social justice. He’s obviously a shrewd and successful businessman and he’s been a vocal leader who also leads by example. He’s actually epitomizing the change he’d like to see in other folks. Inspiring along the way three, [Music] shoots from the baseline and that comes off the assist by Green. Green’s got six assists now in the game. Part of Draymond’s value, the playmaking he gives you out with the front court. Here’s Donic. Oh, Donic. Unfazed by the defense. That’s a nice play there. Not going to miss many from there. Nice outside. Green. Pass to Pajki over Reeves. He planks that one off the back iron and it falls. Pajk’s got 11 points. Well, he could have earned some style points there, but he really don’t need to use the fadeaway when he’s that wide open. James outside. Drops in the three and the Lakers lead by five. Brown’s greatest gift to me is how he sets up so many teammates with catch and shoot opportunities. It’s nice to see them return the favor to the middle. Here’s He draws the foul to the line to shoot there. You know, to be a high volume shooter like Buddy Heel, you have to have a lot of self-confidence, Clark. Well, not just self-confidence, BA, you better have the ability to knock down shots. And Buddy Heel has that in spades. He can get it done from any direction he needs to. Going right, going left, catch, can dribble into the three on occasion. That shot he’s got is pure. First free throw is good. Everybody knows about how Buddy Heield is an incredible three-point threat. But what I love, here’s a guy with a bunch of years playing 80 or more games. Love that durability. [Music] Heat. Both teams will make substitutions. And let’s send it over to Alli the Force. I was able to listen in on what JJ Reic was going over with his team. He laid into the team about being overaggressive. He said, quote, “You’re letting them get to the line as much as they want. We’ve got to dial back some of the physicality because it’s getting us in trouble, guys. Let’s see if they can ease up here. All right, Ally, thanks once again. And Donic has got the ball here for the Los Angeles Lakers. Pass to Reeves outside and stolen by Green. And here’s the fast break. Here’s And it’s Butler with the jam. From a coaching perspective, what are the keys to focus on here that they’re going to have to work fast coming out of the timeout?
