IMO Dillon was always drafted to be a Chase Daniel type 10 year backup. Shedeur is a value pick and they will see if they can get him over the hump of never having to run a real offense. This is why he fell, he could tell NFL coaches how to read a defense in chalk talks. Because the reality of his offense from Jackson State and Colorado was that it was if fist guy aint open through to Travis. Maybe he proves that he can do it. Then they creat some real value via trade or even a long term answer at QB. Then they may have something. Otherwise if he can’t show marked improvement in his ability to understand coverages and route concepts in KS offense he wont be here in 2026.
