Personally I think this would be a bit of a step back from Masai.
However he helped this team in the past go from irrelevance to a perennial play off team. Sure we got bounced by Lebron on more than one occasion, but he’s one of the best to ever suit up in the NBA. Has also helped turn around the situation in Detroit. I don’t think this is the doomsday some of this sub is making it out to be
Also, they are going to be looking at multiple candidates. They aren’t just gonna say “Hey Bobby, here ya go”

I think every POBO and GM role in the league is a bit different. Some POBOs are basically just GMs making basketball decisions, some of them are just focusing on business stuff.
It is unclear to me what exactly the Raptors are looking for especially with Pelley saying that MLSE will take care of the business stuff. Like what exactly would the new POBO do and what would Bobby do?
Dwane Casey being the successor to Masai after being fired by him would be hilarious. This would be like Trump presidency revenge tour he would gut Raptors from inside like Trump did government orgs.
Why are we acting like Casey didn’t lay the foundation for our championship run?? Nurse literally inherited a complete and developed team. It was Casey and his staff that developed pascal, OG, Vanvleet. Casey would’ve won with Leanord make no mistake. If it’s not Bobby, I would much rather Casey than anyone else. Give the man some credit.
