RIP to a true baseball legend. Respectfully, all SF Giants fans.
Because of WGN I watched a lot of Cubs games as a kid after my family moved away from the Bay Area and I couldn’t see the Giants nearly as often anymore. That meant I got to see a lot of Ryne Sandberg. He was a good player, fun to watch, and I’m glad he got to have a good life. Surprising to see him go that young, though.

My all time favorite player. I remember feeling bad rooting against him in the 89 NLCS. RIP Ryno.
