Oregon’s success in developing and turning transfer portal additions into NFL players continues to draw in more talent. This year’s roster features 11 transfer portal additions, with 10 of them having left starting positions from their previous school. Johnson left Northwestern, where he played and started in 11 games for the Wildcats during the 2024 season. He was an All-Big Ten Second Team selection that season, while starting in 12 games for the Wildcats in the 2023 season. He was an established player at a Power 4 school but was willing to walk away from that for a chance to play at a higher level.
