  1. Perkins is gaining class consciousness lol

    You punch up, not down.

Fans don’t run the teams, owners do.

If fans are frustrated or desperate for hope, if they aren’t showing up at capacity, it’s because the people at the top are fouling it up.

  2. you would have thought we were a top market in the league the way the city was chanting jose’s name during that run against phoenix.

we deserve so much better man

  3. Man move to Vancouver should’ve moved to okc in 2005 arena old as fuck

  4. Saints and pelicans get people in the building and high fan support when they give is a *chance*

Drew Brees kept the dome packed pre 2017 with LOSING records because he and Sean always gave us the chance (and a show worth watching on offense). And contrarily the Dome was empty as hell when DA and Mickey shat on those chances for pride/shits n giggles after Drew n Sean left.

Pelicans in 2017 and the suns playoff series gave us a *chance* and the place was packed out with fan interest and recruitment on 10. But every other time has been a lack of chance by either injury or incompetence or both. No one wants to waste time and money to watch a team with your city’s name get their teeth kicked in every game. Do the BARE MINIMUM of giving yourselves a CHANCE and the fans will show out

  5. Every single time the Hornets/Pelicans have given the fans of New Orleans even a TINY sliver of fun/quality basketball, the fans have gone nuts and embraced the hell out of them.

It’s incredible how rare that has been. I have never understood why New Orleans was supposed to regularly sell out for a garbage organization, but all other markets get a total pass with a clear understanding that obviously people won’t support crap.

It’s sad to think about how the perception of New Orleans as a basketball market would be completely different had there been any sustained run of success.
