Marcus Morris' latest legal woes stem from allegations he stole over $250,000 from two prominent Las Vegas casinos … TMZ Sports has learned.

According to court documents we obtained, the NBA player allegedly got $115,000 from the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino via bad checks in May 2024 … and never paid it back when the checks bounced.

Officials state around a month later, in June 2024, he performed a similar scam at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel and Casino … netting $150,000 through checks he knew wouldn't cash.

The docs show two separate warrants for Morris' arrest were issued over the claims earlier this year.

  1. That is crazy. With how much they make from the NBA it’s always surprising to see how poor money management can lead to things like this.

  2. In his 13 years in the NBA, he made over a 100 million dollars. Why tf is he stealing 200K? Is he broke?

  3. Who would ever believe the casino wouldn’t come after you with that amount of $ as a public figure lmao.

This is like the dumbest crime possible

  4. Morris twins were always criminal masterminds starting from when they were on the suns and decided to pull off an ingenious crime, beating up their mom’s boyfriend and then making a totally inconspicuous getaway, two 6’8 twin NBA players fleeing the scene in a Rolls Royce.

  5. Didnt him and his brother Markieff talk about how they shared a bank account with both their NBA earnings? Are they both broke now?

  6. *Wow it’s crazy man you owe as little as 1200 bucks and they can arrest you!*

    – Markieff Morris yesterday about his brother

  7. This is a standard prosecution of someone not paying back a marker. In Nevada, casino markers (credit) are considered checks. If you don’t pay them back in the required time, the casino can deposit them in your linked account and if they bounce, it’s considered a bad check and you can be prosecuted if you don’t pay up.

  8. NBA rookies should put their first few million in annuities they can’t touch.

  9. Just give him one more note for 250 K and let him gamble it back. He’ll win this time.

  10. Gambling can break 100x millionaires, I really do wonder when sports journalists are going to start covering everyday people who have been enticed to ruination by the NBA’s heavy sports betting advertisingĀ

  11. It’s ok guys, it should be pretty easy to fly under the radar as a 6’10ā€ pro athlete.

  12. It’s MGM and Wynn…. He really think he can get away and just not pay ? šŸ˜‚

  13. So, the only people that still write checks are old ladies at the grocery store and Marcus Morris

  14. “America, let me just tell you something. Do not commit crimes with checks. If you’re gonna break the law, do not write a check.” – Charles
