That means that I am taking your questions as submitted to me via the Google form, which you can find in the show notes to any episode. So, if you have questions or if you would like to anonymously confess a hot take, I will react to it on the show on Tuesday. Get them in whenever. I’ll get them get to them uh whenever the next Tuesday is. The first one comes from Anything You Want who asks, “The entire beat is hyping up Dallas Turner through the first padded practice. Does this mean it’s DPOI season for him?” Yeah, that’s the only logical conclusion, that’s for sure. Uh, no. So, yeah, the the first padded practice happened on Monday and one of the stars kind of uh coming out from that practice was Dallas Turner. A couple other names that got mentioned a lot, Zamaya Vaughn appears to really be having a good camp and making a true push for that roster. He he looked like he could have been a good player in OTAAS as well. Well, it’s just so hard to tell before the pads come on, but now the pads are on and you’re going to get as good of a look as you can in uh training camp, but Dallas Turner had a big day. Now, Turner ran mostly with the twos still and you’re probably not going to see a lot of him with the ones just because Gernard and Van Ginkler are in the way as is always the problem, but there has been a package with the three of them on the field and an actual like thing that they are trying to do with those guys. Um, but it’s always nice to see that there’s been a lot of hype around Dallas Turner. He shows up to OTAAS. It looks like he’s put on a bunch of bulk. Um, you know, he knows the scheme better. The coaches are saying he’s grown up a lot in the last year. He was like 21 his rookie year. So, like it’s not that crazy to imagine him, you know, having uh a bit of an a step up in the second year. You know, you’re that’s very very young. Um, and maybe not even finished physically developing. Uh, so now that he’s there, that this all makes sense, but it’s all theoretical. And even though he had a good training camp practice, it’s still just theoretical. It’s less theoretical. We saw it a little bit, but we’re still talking about practice. So, I’m going to uh hold off. I’m going to put a pin in my Dallas Turner DPI uh campaign. Okay, I’ve got the campaign button right here. Okay, I’ll put it on uh when when we see it in real games, but for now, we’re just talking about practice. Bimble Zibs asks, “Brett Coleman doesn’t believe the Minnesota Vikings will extend Jordan Addison. I don’t think he’s watched enough Jordan Addison. What do you think?” I’m unfamiliar with Brett’s take here. I I saw some of his big bootleg pod. Yeah. At uh Underdog Fantasy, the bootleg or bootleg fantasy or I bootleg something uh that he does. He does a series of basically previewing all 32 teams in incredible depth. Um talking like schematically, breaking down rosters, their off season, and all that. It’s much more than well I don’t know what to expect from JJ McCarthy. I guess it’s an eight game win season. Like that’s what you get out of 99% of national outlets. Brett’s doing a lot more. Uh but I have not looked at all that. So I’m not sure what his reasoning is there. If it’s the thing that I hear the most, which is well what if Jaylen Naylor is really good and it makes Jordan Addison expendable and now he can save the money. I don’t know. I I think too many times I have fielded questions during draft season when the Vikings have two very good receivers going what about wide receiver three at round one to really like take that idea seriously like I’m sorry we can’t be asking for round one wide receiver threes and then also be like what if we let the wide receiver two walk and let Jaylen Naylor be wide receiver two or not even it would be it’ be Ty Felton. That’s what it is. That’s what it would have to be. it would have to be that you believe so much in Ty Felton that he is going to be the second wide receiver on the team for the foreseeable future and you guys know how how I feel about that. Um, no. I I think Addison also by virtue of being stuck as a wide receiver, too, will not command that much money. And maybe that even stops him from being willing to take a deal in Minnesota because I do think that he’s good enough to be a wide receiver one in a lot of places. And I honestly wouldn’t blame him if he went, “Hey, I thanks for your Devonte Smith deal, but I can do better on the open market.” I don’t think he would be wrong about that. But that’s also a question for like two years from now, so we can chill. Will Riker, was this like the day where everybody is just gonna say that they’re just NFL players? Will Riker, sure man, asks, “If you were to go to a football field today and attempt a field goal from a kicking tea, how long of a field goal do you think you can make?” Um, the answer is certainly embarrassing. Okay, I am not an athlete. That’s why I’m a podcaster. But, uh, I did try this a few years ago when, um, my family, I have some family in Wisconsin. We all went to a Vikings Packers game in Lambo and they have their title town thing and they actually have a field goal post up there and if you have a football you can just kick to it. Like it’s just like a big park. Um and so we all sat there and tried. None of us could make one. None of us could get that thing basically barely off the ground. So I I if if you give me like one chance all the marbles I probably am not getting that thing is probably one hopping it to you know 10 yards in front of me to be honest with you. But if I had a like a day to really get, you know, my my rhythm down and really practice it a little bit, I bet I could make one from like 10 yards out. And I’m not 10. I’m talking like from the goal line. Maybe I could get that to happen in a little bit. But no promises. Uh Haley asks, “The Viking schedule seems particularly hard to me considering the teams that we’re facing and the amount of prime time games we have this year. What are your thoughts on our schedule or a prediction for our record?” So, I’m going to abstain from the record prediction thing. What I usually say to that question is the FanDuel line is 8 and a half. That is going to be your public perception. That is what people think the Vikings will do this year, which is where Vegas tends to to stick teams, especially FanDuel that they don’t really know what to make of. And because JJ McCarthy is an uncertainty, they say, I don’t know, 8 N and eight. And if we’re wrong, we’re probably not wrong by that. They just kind of stick it in the middle and say everybody guess. Um, so there’s a lot of uncertainty around the Vikings. But yeah, the difficulty of the schedule is part of it. But here’s what I will say about this question cuz we we go through it every year. Every year someone is not as good as you think they should be. Every year someone is better than you think they should be. Every year you lose a couple games you’re not supposed to lose. And every year you win a couple games you’re not supposed to win. So to me going like schedule by like game by game on the schedule, oo, Bengals, that’s tough. Oo, Eagles, that’s tough. Oo, Ravens, that’s tough. Chances are, like the whole NFC North has those same teams, right? Chances are you’re going one and two, like you’re going to steal one of those just based on something stupid. And when you play a bad team, they’re going to steal one back from you based on something stupid. It’s the NFL. Uh so that’s why the record prediction stuff I am like insanely bored with. I will say there’s a lot of uncertainty around JJ McCarthy. He’s looking great in camp and let’s take that uh from where it is. But the difficulty of the schedule, I will also point out, is identical to the difficulty of the schedule that all the other teams in the NFC North face. The NFC North also faces the whole AFC North. They get the Steelers, the Bengals, the Ravens, they all get the Eagles. Um, and you know, a team like the Lions has to play a first place schedule. The Vikings play a second place schedule. That is an entirely overblown thing. The Vikings play two or play three second place teams that their division rivals do not also play. The Lions play three first place teams that the division rivals do not play and so on. The thing is though, the Vikings have two games against the Lions. The Lions do not have to play the Lions. That is a big part of the strength of schedule. The Packers have to play the Lions and the Vikings. The Vikings don’t have to play the Vikings. Vikings play the Packers and the like that means that essentially the the Lions play three first round first place teams and the Vikings and Packers each play two first first place teams instead like is one game and so if you win your intraconference rotational game uh then congratulations like you made like it’s just it’s meant to be even and there’s so much parity in the league and there’s so much change in the league whatever I have a A lot more questions here on the Locked On Vikings podcast and quite a few hot takes. Next question comes from Quacy’s competitive rebuild who asks, “I’m watching the quarterback documentary and seeing the chemistry between Burrow and Chase, which makes me wonder if you had a free pick in the 2024 or 2023 draft to select a Michigan pass catcher for J.J. McCarthy to continue throwing to in the NFL, who would you pick to be on the Vikings?” Do I have to? Uh, I don’t know how familiar you are with my take on the 2023 uh Michigan Wolverines championship season, but boy, those past catchers were not NFL players. And that is mostly borne out. Roman Wilson got hurt. We’ll put that away. And he was the only one I kind of seated. Yeah, he’s got a little juice, but like Cornelius Johnson, that’s not a dude. Uh, Coulson Loveland when I I mean, it was it was a year before he got drafted, right? So Coloulston Loveland in 2023 was not an NFL player. I have I did not watch much of him in 2024. Apparently he got a lot better because he went 10th overall, but also some of the narrative around him was like, “Well, you got to watch his 2023 tape.” Which when I heard that, I don’t know. My eyes like bulged out of their sockets like I was wy coyote. Like what are people talking about? So I guess it’s him. I mean, he went 10th overall, so there’s a chance I’m wrong. I’ll like bet on that. Uh but yeah, I don’t know. Can it be Blake Cororum? He’s an NFL player, but you’re not exactly throwing a lot of passes to him, but it’s like, do I have to? Sucks. Uh, 1991 Ford Tempo enthusiast asks, “Cordary Patterson reunion?” Probably not. Okay, so Cordell Patterson announced his own release uh on Monday morning, which is pretty funny. He’s released from the Steelers. He’s like joking with people about how he’s washed, so he might be washed. He might not be playing for anybody. Um, but it’s really hard to come up with a reason why not, right? Like just go compete for the Tai Chandler role as like RB3 gadget player, kick returner. Just go be part of that glut, I guess. Sure, why not? Nelson asks, “Who on the Vikings is most likely to try to kiss someone’s forehead in the locker room, and why is it Ivan Pace?” I don’t think that’s it’s not Ivan Pace. Somebody who would try to kiss somebody else on the forehead is probably doing a bit in the Vikings locker room. So you got to think about like who does the bits and boy that would have just oh been cam binum before um in a weird way I think the funniest possible person to do that would be Harrison Smith or to do two do that too would be Harrison Smith because I think he’d go with it but in his like stoic way I feel like that would play really really well. Um, but I I don’t know. Look, Ivan Pace has something of a reputation in the Twin Cities area uh for his um I will say success on the dating market, but that’s not I don’t know if he’s like the jokey jokey jokester guy necessarily. I don’t know that much about him, his like personality versus what we’ve come to learn about guys who have been there for a little bit longer. Maybe Josh Matelis would be that guy uh as like Mr. celebration and tell us with Mattel’s like he seems like he’s got quite the sense of humor and would go for it. Um, this is a reference to what is going on in the Raiders world with Christian Wilkins and weird rumors swirling around about like locker room blowups and stuff like that. It is insanely stupid, but it also is like pertinent to a $35 million lawsuit. So, I guess you got to pay attention to it if you’re a Raiders fan. But that’s not us. No, no, no. Thank you for betraying uh Lamar Hunt, Max Winter, so that we aren’t the Raiders. That’s throwback to go listen to the history series that I did when I was out of town. Grill asks, “Which Packer CB is the most burnt of all the burnt host in that room.” Oh man, we shouldn’t talk about it that that uh strongly because now they’re going to get like three picks on J.J. McCarthy and we’re going to and and these these clips are going to resurface. Okay, you got to know better. talk. Save it. Save it for after you see them get beat by these guys. But um the answer is Keshan Nixon. Next one comes from Blimy who asks, “Do the Vikings have a player on their roster that takes over the Harrison Smith role when he hangs it up. Is that ultimately just Josh Matelis?” Um, I mean just at safety right now, yeah, I I guess the idea would be that it’s Matelis and Theo Jackson and maybe you make an acquisition in the meantime to like be part of that competition, but or if you’re talking about like the veteran old guy leadership role. Uh, I mean that could be a number of people that are now signed to be with the Vikings like well into their 30s, but it have to be somebody who’s been there like since the draft. Brian O’Neal comes to mind. CJ Ham is probably the easiest one for like the spiritual Harrison Smith role of the like everybody just adores this guy and he’s going to retire a Viking no matter what and we’re he’s he’s never going to retire he’s going to play till he’s 40. That feels very CJ Ham to me. Uh, but in terms of just who takes over at safety, yeah, Matelis would probably be the like principal safety and then if Theo Jackson is the guy that the Vikings think that he is, maybe you just give him the extension and there’s your safeties or you have to figure something out in an offseason. Uh, save big money at Grenards at every time. I love it every time. Says, “Why can’t Kevin Williams even sniff the Hall of Fame even despite having arguably a better resume than his teammate Jared Allen? You were cooking and then you weren’t cooking.” Uh, don’t get me wrong, I think Allan is deserving of the honor and understand the reasons why he got selected. Position, value, bigger personality, glamour stats, etc. However, it feels insane to me that there hasn’t really been any push from both the team and the fan base for him to get the recognition he deserves. Uh, yeah, interior Dline, go Burr, man. You’re cooking here. Like, Kevin Williams is absolutely a Hall of Fame caliber player. uh but as a defensive tackle versus the flashy edge like the reasons you mentioned and also sort of being buried on a lot of pretty bad defenses, you know, like a lot of the cool stuff he did was in 2004 2005 when the Vikings defense was really bad or conversely in 2006 2007 when the defense was good but the Vikings were bad because they were going through their Tiverus Jackson era and kind of getting stuck up in the, you know, the the Christian Ponder, early Christian Ponder years. He deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. He has the accolades to be in the Hall of Fame. And I think that conversation eventually does come up. Uh, but I don’t know, man. It’s always hard. Like, only six people get in the Hall of Fame every year. So, the standard I feel like is higher than we than our perception of it should be. But that doesn’t mean you’re wrong. He should be in. I have a whole bunch of hot takes that I’m going to get to next. You guys sent in some spicy ones on Lockdown Vikings. Today’s episode of Lockdown Vikings is brought to you by Yahoo Fantasy. Uh this year all of the leagues that I am playing are on Yahoo Fantasy and there is a reason for that. It is a very smooth app that works that is, you know, popular for a reason. Everybody’s on it. The scoring systems are very intuitive. The waiver wire and trading systems are very intuitive. But I think like crucially, it works quickly and smoothly and you have all these fun little message board features and their game recap features and stuff that add a little extra flare to your fantasy season. They’ve been around for 28 years and they’ve been doing good stuff for 28 years. To celebrate those 28 years of fantasy greatness, Yahoo Fantasy is dropping 28 big new features over 28 days, giving you more ways to play, more ways to draft, and more ways to win. It all begins August 4th. So, you should check out Yahoo Fantasy, whether you’re a first-timer, a veteran, making your millionth league or something in between. Stay tuned and get started by creating or joining a Yahoo Fantasy football league at yahoo fantasy.com/lockedonfl. That’s yahoo fantasy.com/lockedonfl. and let’s make this fantasy season the best one yet. Moving along here with the Locked On Vikings podcast. Got some hot takes now. Some spicy opinions that you have all confessed to me anonymously. I will protect your safety, but I won’t protect your take. The first one comes from Fortnite Fortnite. He he haha, are you okay? Uh, who says Vikings should trade Grenard and multiple first to get Michael Parsons, pay him 40 million and prosper under Flo’s system. I feel like you have said this before. I feel like I’ve gotten this one before. Um, no. That feels like a terrible value. That feels like the Cowboys would be thrilled. Um, and by the way, that’s probably more than than his contract is going to be for Dallas. So, I feel like you’re just overpaying to overpay. Uh, that’s not what that would be. it trade the idea of trade Grenard and whatever draft capital it would take to make up the difference between Gard and Micah Parsons is a super interesting idea. Um I think it’s probably unnecessary but I get it right like that’s going from a pro bowler to an allpro kind of player and uh the thing is Grard is one of the best pass rushers in the league. If you want to do this, I would say trade Van Ginkle and then maybe probably six more draft picks, but Van Ginkle in more draft picks to Micah Parsons and essentially just like upgrade on that role because Michael Parsons plays a very similar role in Dallas to what Van Ginkle and Dallas Turner do here. Uh so make that happen. But um Grard is is a foundational part of the Vikings defense. I don’t think we need to try to like brainstorm profitable ways to get rid of him. It feels like you’re a little bit too offseason maddenedrained. Skull Maha has a couple here. One says, “Had a dream. Dallas Turner came back to camp 350 pounds and was real into anime. Anyways, I think he’ll be a stud this year.” Okay. Uh the other one is, “Training campees is a criminally underrated time of the football season. One of the few times it isn’t resultsbased and you can just enjoy.” True. Here’s what we need to not do, okay? And I’m already seeing it. You see it every year. But here’s what we need to not do, okay? When you see a the thing about camp is it’s zero sum. So you can be glass half full or glass half empty about any play because it’s Vikings playing against Vikings. If there’s a catch over a cornerback, the receiver made a good play, the corner made a bad play. And if you’re glass half empty, you can be like, “What a terrible coverage.” If you’re glass half full, you can be like, “Great throw and catch.” And you can do that with everything, right? I saw one um I think there was a a a tweet from the first padded practice where there was a situational drill and Jonathan Gernard got two sacks and essentially exploded the whole drill on his own. And some people say, “Oh, sweet. Jonathan Grenard sighting. Love to see that. You know, he’s such a stud. That’s awesome.” And a lot of people are like, “Oh, no. The O line is terrible.” Well, for one, that’s Justin school. Okay, calm down. But for two, it’s practice. There is going to be a loser on every rep where something happens. And if you want to focus on all the people who lost those reps and then be like down in the dumps about them, go ahead. But you’re suffering. I think Sko Maha has the right idea here. Just sit back and enjoy some cool stuff. Hey, that was a really awesome pass. JJ McCarthy threw to Lucky Jackson in a tight window. You don’t need to make a big deal about the fact that I think it was Theo Jackson that didn’t quite make the play that he was really close to making the play but didn’t actually. It was pretty good play from Theo Jackson to get even get close there to me. Uh but that that’s I guess the other way to look at this is like there is a difference between you know a good offensive play leading to production and a bad defensive play leading to production. And if you want to learn the ins and outs of any given position, you can get to a point where you understand the difference between the two, right? And I don’t feel super confident in my knowledge base to to that effect, but I think that’s a way to approach it, right? Hey, did I just see a good offensive play or a bad defensive play? Or if it was a defensive play, good defensive play, bad offensive play, right? Like vice versa. That has helped me a lot when I was like watching offensive linemen for the draft, right? You can see, wow, that was a terrible pass rush that I’m not giving you any credit for winning that one. or wow, that was a really nasty pass rush and it was pretty cool that you were able to handle it. Like there’s a big difference there. And in these camp reps, you can shortcut it by saying, “Okay, well that’s Khalif Hali or whatever his name is, so I’m probably not super impressed that you like beat him in a in a rep, but I’m also what if that was a good coverage rep and like the like a tight window is a tight window. I don’t care about the jersey number, right? So that could still be a good throw even if it’s a tight window and you know a thirdteamer maybe almost made a good play but a tight throw took it away. That’s a much like there’s a lot more layers to that and there’s a lot more information in that kind of takeaway if you want to try to do it. Um this is complete tangent far off of what the hot take was but I felt it needed to be said. Okay. Don’t be Mr. Zero sum. Don’t be Mr. glass half empty glass half full. uh try to if you’re gonna evaluate camp clips, if you’re going to be that den, all right, now I’m certainly not going to be throwing stones there, okay? My house is very glass in that regard. If you’re going to be that kind of Den, um try to be smart about it and and identify if someone’s making a good play or a bad play. But just saying, “Oh, roll my eyes, you know, offensive line is bad again,” you’re just whining to whine. Uh, Luke in Maine, I get it, says, “I really think the plan could be to replace Flo when he leaves and go for a guy off of the Mike McDonald scheme. It’s the closest adjacent and a trend for a reason. It’s a great system.” No, it’s going to be the Bellich scheme. That’s the closest adjacent because the Bellich scheme like holds a lot of the same DNA. So, you have a lot of the same front principles. The blitzes are constructed in the same way. You might not have the same guy actually designing those blitzes, but you have the same building blocks and communication system. So, it would work for all of the veteran players in in in the team. It’s got to be off the bell tree. Unless they decide, hey, this Flores thing was cool, but we’re going to go a totally different direction and we’re not going to try to keep the same scheme at all. Make the same decision basically they made by not hiring a Fangio guy and getting Flores instead. They want to run that decision back, which I would super get. Um, then maybe somebody off the Mike McDonald tree, but I would imagine they’re going to try to get, you know, your your latest fired Bellich disciple head coach, your Gerard Mayo. We’ll see what Mike Gable’s up to that year. Uh, Vikings guy says, “I was at training camp Saturday and I talked to Isaiah Rogers signing autographs after practice. I said, you know, you have to pick off Jordan Love once.” And he replied, “No, I have to do it twice.” So, my hot take is Rogers picks off Jordan Love twice. Uh, that rules. That’s a I I really hope that that is a real story. I have no reason to not believe you, Vikings guy, except for the fact that you’re a person on the internet, but that rules. Uh, Kale Chips says, “Jeffoka being a starter on the depth chart means nothing at this point. I could easily see him ending up a practice squad player by the end of camp. Allah Joan Williams.” Super true. Absolutely. These are not hot takes. This is absolutely. Yeah, it’s camp again. We’re talking about practice. This is stuff happening in shorts. By the way, uh Mai Blackman did work in a little bit more with the ones as the CB3 in Monday’s practice. So, that may have been I may have jumped the gun a little bit, been a little premature there with uh sort of declaring Jeff Okuda the the the the starter. But I I have no regrets about doing work on him and actually like trying to get a sense for his game because now I like I get it. But I still hope that Mai Blackman can rise above the level that Jeff Cuda has been the last few years. and uh and win that job. If if Okuda just kind of gets it by default, that would kind of suck. Um but we’re still that that the fat lady hasn’t sung on that one. Mauricio says, “I’m tired of pretending McCarthy can’t be goated with the sauce. I recognize this will be his first time starting, but out of the past seven years, we have had three absolutely st QB seasons from first-time starters that would actually absolutely make the Vikings Super Bowl contenders. Herbert, Daniels, and Mahomes. I recognize that it’s a small sample size, but why can’t we be super optimistic about McCarthy? There’s a 43% chance a QB will come out of nowhere that a QB will come out of nowhere and tear the league apart out of what is that stat? Where’s that from? Citation needed. Uh, why can’t it be the Vikings QB? He certainly has a supporting cast to do it. You heard it here first. McCarthy will be this year’s breakout QB that will make even the likes of Thor Nestrom seem pessimistic. Um, okay. First reaction, Cook. Okay. Absolutely. Speak it into the ether. Your lips to God’s ears. Here is something I’m going to point out. Okay, this is not this is incredibly like trendy based uh analysis. This is an entirely unserious point, but I’m going to say it anyways because we’re at the end of a town hall Tuesday. Patrick Mahomes, year 2 AFC Championship. Lamar Jackson, year two MVP. Joe Burrow, year two Super Bowl. Jaylen Herz, year three Super Bowl. This is when it happens for guys. Uh not to mention, you know, Carson Wentz, year two was the 2017 season. He was on MVP pace before he got hurt. Uh and then that team did win the Super Bowl just a couple years ago. Brock Pury, year two Super Bowl. A lot of those guys didn’t play year one, two, like Patrick Mahomes didn’t play at all. He played one meaningless game. Lamar Jackson got in at the end of the year. or in the case of like Joe Burrow where he was where he was coming off an injury for year two. So if the quarterback is good, this is when greatness can be achieved. If the quarterback’s not good, it’s all a moot point, right? Um there are plenty of second-year quarterbacks that sucked really bad like Will Levis, but that’s because they suck anyways and it doesn’t matter what year you look at them. But year two, year three, year four, when the window is there, when the rookie contract is there and you got the supporting cast and all that, that’s the whole point. The whole thing everybody talks about is where the Vikings are at right now. I am being humble about it because the NFL has proven me wrong too many times for me to come out and be like, JJ McCarthy is going to be the greatest QB in the NFC and he’s going to win MVP and he’s going to be awesome. But I am really optimistic about him. I liked him coming out. I liked what I saw from him in the short time we got last year. I have really in depth looked at everything JJ McCarthy has done for the last three football playing years of his life and even familiarized myself with the story of the rest which is there’s a piece at wide left I’m really proud of called the unbearable light lightness of quarterbacking and uh I would like for you to read it but I feel like I’ve learned enough about quarterback and done enough work on this quarterback to be pretty confident in my in my assessment that it is good to be optimistic plus the supporting cast and all that other stuff that you talked about. It’s good to be optimistic, but until it happens in a meaningful football game, we cannot lock anything in ever. You just have to be humble and say, “I think he’s pretty good.” But that I think does a lot of work. I think he’s going to be good is different than he’s going to be good. So, I’m going to say I think he’s going to be good and here’s all my reasons why. and I can point you to hours and hours and hours of content, but if I were to come out and say, you know, and and if he’s not good, I’ll get a tattoo on my butt or something. Like, if I were to do that, I would be the fool. I will see you all tomorrow. And as always, skull

Training camp is well underway, and Dallas Turner exploded in the first day of full pads. Answering your questions about that and much more, plus your hot takes on Townhall Tuesday!

  1. Luke man you are tough to listen to lately. The sarcastic laughs. Telling us to take everything w a grain of salt. “Dallas Turner good reports? Hmmmph it only practice man” just all the sarcastic patronizing getting old.

  2. Bootleg Football is phenomenal, Brett and EJ are great breaking down teams. I'm also in the camp that the Vikings will either trade or let Addison walk, he'll get a better deal elsewhere as a WR1

  3. I find it odd that in the second week of camp, first week in pads and so much going on, people are submitting questions about what happens in 2026 or things not pertaining to the 25' team/season. It's as though people don't want to live in the present, which for the Vikings is actually pretty exciting. Not a criticism so much as an observation.
