Every single post this summer feels like it’s just doom and gloom about the Canucks, so I figured we could actually talk about something fun for once.

Who’s your favorite goalie setup for the Canucks? I’m talking MAIN JERSEY’S ONLY, because if we include the black skate era, any setup is automatically top of the leaderboard.

For me, it’s gotta be Andrew Raycroft’s 2009/10 dark blue and green Reebok Revokes or Cory Schneider’s 2012/13 vaughn pads with Reebok glove and blocker.

With an honorable mention going to 2018/19 Anders Nilsson🔥

  1. The stick in the rink seriously should be shelved. Honestly the logo is a shoulder patch logo at best. Skate, Orca, and the Johnny Canuck logo are so much better. I’m glad the stick in the rink hasn’t been used the last couple years it’s done

  2. Maybe not the best but I loved watching Cloutier. There’s something satisfying about your goalie being as tough as any goon on the ice. Also when he was cookin, man was he ever cookin!

  3. Isn’t it kind of funny how goalies are the only ones in hockey – and maybe all of the major sports – where they get to be like “hey, let’s really tie my whole look together” and get to give us little fashion shows like this?

Seeing Lou in the maroon made me think of that process. “No guys, not sick enough. I want to look so good in this…” And even Demmer’s all black pads. No other type o player gets to customize their look to put on a show for fans, that I can think of.
