  1. I can’t believe it’s only a 1 game series against the Orioles tomorrow. super weird how that happened.

  2. First test of real adverstiy in a month and a half. Get lukes out of the leadoff spot already, ernie needs to be a platoon player. These players are getting overextended badly.

  3. I’d rather face teams in the playoff race then the white Sox, Orioles, Athletics etc

  4. This is Baltimore. I’m going to see how the Royals series plays out before proclaiming that the carriages have turned back into pumpkins.

  5. You can call me a nerd, but I don’t think giving away a free out when a pitcher has thrown like 11 straight balls is a good strategy.

  6. Ew. ew. ew.

better game tonight, but still – they should have had that 🙁

I’ll be glad when this series is done

  7. Well, this is the kinda shit that happens when you go 1-23 with RISP in a 3 game stretch…wipe this shit and get em tomorrow, boys.

  8. Yeah, this blows.
We continue to have chances thouugh, just gotta get back to converting

  9. they weren’t gonna keep playing crazy above their heads till october.

flush this series and come out strong against kc at home.

def also lines up with the deadline too in terms of needing to strengthen the team for a stretch run

  10. Frustrating game, but at least the pitching didn’t implode this time. Jays just stranded too many. Wagner hitting into two 1 out double plays was such a momentum killer.

  11. Even if the Yankees win, we’re still up 4 games (!!) on the division. We get these bad games out of the way now, we shore up the bullpen, we’ll be fine.

  12. bullpen depleted, down like 5 of our best hitters, played a doubleheader in ridiculous heat. shit happens, we’ll be fine

  13. Such a winnable game. Double plays killed us. Gotta get that RISP mojo back. Gotta get George and Kirk back. It’s just always felt like the wrong guy was up (except when it was Bo, but let’s not talk about his game today). Lukes had a couple big ABs where he failed to deliver. Let’s get one tomorrow and gtfo

  14. We were due for a cold spell. We will wake up July 30th with a four game lead on the Yanks for the division, with reinforcements like Varsho, Giminez and whomever else we trade for in next two days on the way. I’m feeling good! Who’s with me?

  15. Not worried right now but this Jays team has played with negative aura since Sunday and needs to get the fuck out of Baltimore.

  16. 4 losses in a row.

4 games in a row without Captain Kirk behind the plate.

    🤔

  17. This regression was pretty obvious with the injuries but this team should still win the division
