Seranthony Domínguez was traded between games of the Blue Jays-Orioles doubleheader and had to walk past his old teammates to get to the Blue Jays bullpen

  1. The reaction by that pen gives off the energy of “damn, thats crazy”

They straight up did not care

  2. Like playing YMCA basketball and the other team doesn’t have enough players so you have to turn your jersey inside out and play for them

  3. we did this before.

we traded for Melvin BJ Upton during a series and he walked over too.

  4. Both teams’ AA affiliates are playing today so the prospect the Orioles got in return *also* walked to the other dugout to play tonight.

  5. I only know this because one of my fantasy teams is all bird themed, but last year, the Blue Jays, Orioles, and Cardinals only traded with each other, so we didn’t need to drop any players. I hope this happens again!

“I don’t want him pitching against me tonight.”

  7. Did the Orioles have a Seranthony tribute video ready for Dominguez’s triumphant return to Baltimore post-trade?

  8. This is beautiful. But Danny Jansen did it better. Played for both teams in the same game. Rain postponement caused Jays-Sox game to be completed weeks later. Jansen was- traded to BOS in the meantime. Scorecard must have been interesting.

  9. The Blue Jays sure do love trading players to the other team while they are playing in the same game

  10. How does this work, like they have a jersey shipped out from Toronto or do they just make a custom one up in the fan shop

  11. Just once I’d like to see a player in this situation say, “Nah. I’m going to use all 72 hours the CBA gives me. Get a couple rounds of golf in. Take the kids to the new Disney movie. See you Friday in [city-name], new teammates!”

  12. Now imagine if it was during the game.

    “Sweet my chance to bat!”

“Yeah… just stay on the field.”

  13. Does the “no being friendly with opponents” rule still exist? I mean, if it does, I’m glad its literally never enforced, but I’d hope they’d do things right and just delete the stupid rule.

  14. Walking out of last place to first never felt so good in the NL East. I also remember Freddy Sanchez being recorded walking from the Pirates clubhouse to the Giants clubhouse underneath now Oracle Park.
