Drake Maye looking the 2nd level into Henderson, then throwing a soft-touch fade to Kyle Williams, who won the rep at the release.
The offense cooked in the latter half of practice.
🅰️plus rep from TC

I try not to get hyped on rookie WRs given the team’s draft history but it’s hard not to get excited with Williams’ combination of releases and burst at the line
Ball was in the air before the release, good to see the rookie and qb appearing to be on the same page early
It’s funny to me that you can say the offense cooked or the offense looked cooked and they mean completely different things.
man if demontrey jacobs starts for this team again…
It’s good for vibes but personally just hoping for better execution during games. Less penalties. Stops on 3rd down. Conversions on 3rd down. Fundamental route running, catching, tackling, etc. Even if we go 5-11 or 6-10, I just want competent football. We had one primetime game last year—Thursday night against the Jets—and only scored 3 points. The only reason we scored 3 pts was bc we got a gift of a PI call to put us in FG range. I just want football that doesn’t make it hurt on the inside lol
It’s nice to not see wide receivers running to the same spot like they were under AVP.
