NBA Trade Rumors: Utah Jazz interested in Cam Thomas?!?
New intel on the Jazz. Are they interested in Cam Thomas? Let’s talk about his hoopser show. [Music] All right, guys. Like always, like the video, subscribe to the channel, and if you really want to help me out, watch the video till the end. That’s the thing that helps it spread the most. All right, so there’s a new rumor out there. Cam Thomas, Brooklyn Nets. There are two teams that really had some cap space this offseason. The Brooklyn Nets, the Utah Jazz. This comes from Grant Ath, and he says that Utah is not interested in Cam Thomas. we should probably not be very surprised. He talks about different executives and what they’re hearing about Cam Thomas and about the Utah Jazz. Mainly that a lot of of other executives kind of look at Cam Thomas as an offthebench microwave scorer, he says, which probably fits what’s going on with the market. Uh, but what he says here is Utah holds the cards for restricted free agency if they want to. It’s not just Cam, but he’s one of the restricted free agents who I don’t see as being appealing for the Jazz. They’re building around defense, size, and versatility, a Western Conference scout explained to fasttrackjournal.com. Cam is a pure scorer, but he doesn’t fit the long-term vision they’re selling internally. Instead, executives believe Utah is better suited to pursue other restricted free agents who offer two-way upside, namely Quinton Grimes of the Philadelphia Sixers, 76ers, who also remains unsigned. If Utah uses that cap space, it’ll be for someone like Quinton Grimes, someone who can knock down threes, guard multiple positions, but still can create off the dribble, an Eastern Conference executive told fastbreakjournal.com. So, not surprising Utah’s not interested in Cam Thomas because Utah is like ASTH says they’re building around defense size and versatility which tells you a lot about what Utah’s done in the draft with their best picks. Taylor Hendricks, AJ Debonsa, size, length, versatility, and what we’re seeing from both so far in even in summer league with with Ace Bailey is defense. So, really nice to see. Uh, I don’t think the Utah Jazz are going to go get Quinton Grimes either. I mean, I guess it could happen, but Quinton Grimes is a good player that’s kind of starting to enter into his prime. Utah is looking to build the youth they have now while also losing games to keep their top eight pick next year. Considering all the players at the top of the draft being extremely first overall pickw worthy, there’s like three or four players in this upcoming draft that could all have a very good claim to the number one pick and Utah does not want to miss out on them. Absolutely not. So, not a surprise, guys. Thanks for watching to the end. Like the video, subscribe to the channel. Shout out to the Allstars and all the members. Grimes would be better
Why would we trade for another ball dominant guard? Our team is fine as is. Let the guys develop and continue to make more moves once we know more about our rookies and sophomores.
I like the team as is and it should be a similar outcome as last season to get a lottery pick again next year. We can develop Cody Williams and Ace Bailey . It will be a better year for the morale of the players and fans because we will see growth from the young guys.
