Anyone else really annoyed by the discourse around the salary cap? Every article or player quote feels like the haves whining to the have nots. Yes, I know that a salary cap wouldn’t be enough without a salary floor, but we need both. Parity is getting worse and worse, and the lack of a cap only helps the superstars, not the meat and potatoes of the league. Set a cap and floor, introduce revenue sharing, even the playing field, and you’ll realize the league is suffering.
I think every argument against fixing the payroll disparity can be countered with “suck it up, you selfish, spoiled prick”
