I think JT will win NL Silver Slugger for catchers. I want them to resign Jt to a 2 year deal+1 year TO. I feel it would allow them to develop someone to be his eventual successor.
Maybe he’ll try to frame a pitch every once in a while when October rolls around
He’s as much as must-resign as Schwarber is.
I love it, but that BA to OBP ratio is not sustainable. 1 walk in july is INSANE
Yeah it’s a day game after a night game but he also *earned* a day off. He’s been raking
Glad I’m not GM I would have traded him before the season or during the beginning.

His brief offensive resurgence makes me more optimistic on bringing him back because despite his horrible framing once ABS is implemented that becomes a positive for him because he handles the pitching staff very well. Thing is he has to realize at his age and with inconsistent production that he needs to take a pay cut.
His offense isn’t even that bad. If everyone else is hitting, JT’s offense just becomes a bonus.
