I can assure you we’re going to be making you some hefty amounts of coin going forward. And it’s going to start here with this matchup between the Kansas City Royals and the Atlanta Braves. You got the Kansas City Royals. No starter confirmed at the time this video is being recorded, but the Atlanta Braves look like they will be sending out Joey Wentz for the start in this one. And Wentz coming off a bit of a uh headscratching outing in his last start. You know, it was four and a third innings, a four-run ball with three earned runs, four hits allowed, six strikeouts in that start. And uh you know, it just it was it was a decent outing, but it wasn’t great. And then we’ve seen one good outing from uh W as a starter, one bad outing. Still has a 5.76 erra this season. just still makes it extremely hard to feel good about sort of where this Braves rotation is now that you know they’ve had to go out and get Eric Fetty for at the trade deadline. Yeah, it’s just like I said, it’s not a great spot for this uh for this Cardinals team to be. And just when you look at, you know, the entire starting rotation that this team had and just where they’ve sort of ended up, I mean, this is a uh a Braves lineup that has everyone from the opening week rotation this season that is now on the injured list. Now, Spencer Strider not on that list because he came back a little bit later in the season, but I’ll tell you this, this Braves lineup is banged up and having went in the lineup doesn’t really help. And while, you know, the Kansas City Royals don’t have great numbers against lefties since the All-Star break, a 169 batting average, a low team OPS in average isolated power numbers, you know, still have a 10.4% walk rate. The strikeout rate is still a little bit high, but I I still can’t buy into Joey Wentz here. It’ll be interesting to see who the Kansas City Royals throw out in this one. But for me, it’s still just very hard to back the Atlanta Braves on the road. I mean, this is still an Atlanta team that entering Tuesday is 19 and 34 straight up on the road. They did pick up the win in Monday’s series opener. We’ll have to see how Tuesday’s matchup goes, but the Royals are still, you know, playing 50/50 baseball as of late and they’re still trying to just tread water. Maybe make a late move in the AL wild card or the AL Central if the Tigers continue to struggle, which I don’t think they will, but you know, it is what it is right now. But I just, like I said, I can’t get behind the Braves. I think the Royals are just a team in better position. You know, like I said, it’ll be interesting to see who the Royals throw out here. If they do throw out a lefty, it’s not like the Braves have been that much better, hitting 180 against left-handed pitching since the All-Star break. If you look at the numbers for, you know, the Braves against righties, they haven’t been anything special either, hitting 238. Mediocre isolated power numbers. The Royals been one of the, you know, better power teams in baseball since the All-Star break with a sub 15% strikeout rate. So, they can get through once they can get to this Braves bullpen, which, you know, in uh in the game since the All-Star break has a league high 8.12 erra. I think it’s all just spelling doom and gloom for the Braves in this spot. I’m going to roll with the Royals in this one. And that’s going to be my free pick.
