  1. See? The world is still turning. We’re a game back in the division while going though a slump. I’ll take it.

  2. We still take over their park even when they take 2 out of 3. They are sooooooo pathetic.

  3. Tactically saved our energy for today, thereby ensuring we would win the final game of the series and move on to the next one with the momentum instead of reeling from a loss. We have psychologically destroyed the Brewers and the poor bastards don’t even know it

  4. Huge win. 1 game back feels way better than 3 games back. Beat up the Os to make ourselves feel better and make some god damn trades Jed. Bless Mo.

  5. .500 at Brewers home. I’ll take it. Last series against Brewers at home will be one for the ages

  6. Yes we lost this series and leave it in 2nd in the division but some perspective for the doomers:

We’re 4-4 against the Brewers and 6 out of 8 have been at their field. For a Brewers team who’s 36-20 at home and 28-24 on the road, and a Cubs team who is 33-19 at home and 30-26 on the road. We still have 5 more and they’re all at Wrigley. I like our odds to take the season series from them still.

  7. Reports of our demise are greatly exaggerated.

Love seeing Mo Baller get that huge hit.

  8. Up against Peralta that feels like a huge win, I know there’s a lot of ball to be played but 1 vs 3 back is a big swing.

Get some trades done and let’s see what we can do.

  9. Felt good to hand out an ass beating like that before getting out of town. Especially against peralta.

  10. Huge win. Obviously you want to win any series, but 1 of 3 in Milwaukee is fine. Way, way better than getting swept would’ve been.

Gotta win that 5 game series in a couple weeks in Wrigley now.

  11. 4-4 on the season series with the last five at Wrigley.

Needing to just go 3-2 instead of 4-1 feels insanely better.

  12. Need the Nationals and Braves to help us out. Also if the Nats want to trade Gore…

  13. Nice bounce back game today. Only 1 game back and the season series is tied 4-4 with the Brewers.

  14. This is the 17th time they have scored 10 plus runs in a game and also got a win over Freddy Peralta. Nice rebound outing from Shota with 8 K’s. FTB…

  15. All the whining, moaning, complaining, and doomsaying, in the end we’re a game back. That sure doesn’t feel like “the season’s over”

  16. was important they didnt get swept.

    now only a game back

feels better than being 3 back

  17. Mo has to be MVP of the game for me. We had so much momentum after that. I know there isnt a huge spot in the lineup for him, but great to see him bring some energy like that.

  18. Hopefully this can enable some people on here to back away from the ledge a bit. Losing 2/3 to the Brewers absolutely sucks, but net result is we’re just a game back of them with plenty of season left and a much easier schedule. Plus we have 5 games left with them at the Friendly Confines.

  19. All remaining Brewer’s games are at home! Time to highlight on it. Especially after some juicy trades.
