I wouldn’t be comfortable with Lindgren playing 2LD minutes anyway.
But have to ask, if they were to trade Girard, who the hell would play 2LD for the Avs, considering Lindgren ain’t here either?
There are no UFAs left and Keaton Middleton with 2nd pairing minutes would be equivalent to throwing in the towel. So who would they target in a trade? Either straight up swapping Girard or trading G for assets to use in acquiring the replacement. I can’t see any LDs who would be better than G, making similar money and be available for a reasonable price.
