He’s not wrong. Found a new with tags 2002 Stanley Cup champions shirt in the old man’s closet a couple years ago. As well as two new with tags 97 and 98 Bulls NBA champs shirts. He grew up in Detroit but he and my mom lived in Chicago in the 80s and 90s, where I was born too. Smart man never wearing them and leaving the tags on.
I always look for old Wings clothing/hats at estate sales, I just got an old gray t-shirt that says “We don’t rebuild…We Reload”. I also have a Starter jacket that has 91/Fedorov on the back and some of the championship t-shirts that have the cartoon caricatures of the players.
