The St. Louis Cardinals Have Traded Steven Matz To The Boston Red Sox!

The St. Louis Cardinals have made another trade, this time with the Boston Red Sox. Hey, it’s JD from Locked on Cardinals. And after trading closer Ryan Hley to the New York Mets earlier in the night, the team has now traded left-hander Steven Mats to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for 22-year-old corner infielder Bla1 Jordan. Killer name right now. Blae is not fast like his name would suggest, but he can hit. 6′ 220 pounder, third round pick in 2020, rated as Boston’s number 17 prospect by MLB pipeline. Was in double A and AAA so far this year, hitting a combined 308 with 12 home runs and 62 RBI’s in 88 games. Has made more contact and has less power than was expected, but was hitting 500 foot bombs at age 13. So, there is some pop in his bat.
