Rangers are loaded with SP prospects. Given recent events, I wouldn’t hate it at all.
Said it yesterday, but the RP market is hot. If the Royals get good offers there is no reason to say no on most of these guys. While he’s been solid when not injured, Harvey hasn’t shown he can stay on the field consistently.
And the stove gets hotter with the Padres trading De Vries to the A’s for Mason Miller.
Whenever we’ve seen him he’s looked amazing so I can understand why a team in contention is interested. Strong SP or outfield prospect and they should flip him.
Harvey is waaaaay too injury prone not to trade him for just about any everyday player.
Harvey is probably our most valuable piece I’d be willing to part with at this point.
If you can get someone with more control who is ready to contribute, it makes sense. Especially with his health struggles. But I’m also not going to get excited about the idea.
“We’ll send the medical report over in a zip file so it’s a smaller file”
You 100% make a deal if you can get a Lorenzen type of player back.
(Looks at Cole Ragans. Then back at The Rangers while cracking knuckles.)
How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, Old Man?
The price bullpen arms are selling for right now you gotta explore it
If we can get a good deal, Harvey is an excellent pitcher when he’s healthy and would be my ideal trade candidate now that Lugo is off the table (THANKFULLY)

If they got another ace lying around why not
