Holy shit, even Brodie taking shots at Fisher.

  1. I’m mean they aren’t winning this year and next will probably be tough too, a closer ain’t helping a losing team very much.

  2. Brodie must not have read the full trade.

#3 prospect in baseball is a great return. Plus 3 other prospects that are highly rated by the Padres.

  3. Brodie’s been an outspoken critic for a while now. Nice to see him still taking the shots at JF. Cuz fuck ‘em.

  4. So many of you are like, it’s actually a great haul for Miller because like a battered spouse, you don’t realize this behavior sucks. For too long the story has been, Team develops young player, young player improves and becomes a star, team trades player for more young players. Over and over and despite having some solid records over the years, it’s never enough to win the big one, because unfortunately those players that could help get over that hump, have already been traded away.

People will say it’s A’s baseball, and I can tell you it’s not. It’s what you remaining fans accept as your reality, and you should not. Have some self respect.

John Fisher does not care about the fans or about winning. Not at all. He never has and never will. This team is a cash register for him. John Fisher does not care. Haul or not, I would have rather kept and resigned a young all star.

  5. Can’t say I’m surprised. Mind you Sacramento WANTED this to happen. This ain’t an Oakland problem anymore. And I’ll betcha Severino is next

  6. FJF! But, I’ll bet the league doesn’t want the A’s anywhere near the playoffs in the next couple of years, because they don’t want playoff games on that Sacramento baseball diamond.

  7. I am so happy that after decades convincing myself these trades made sense, I no longer care.

    It’s freeing.

    Also FJF
