The Washington Nationals DID NOT TRADE JOSH BELL?! What Went Wrong?
In one of the more shocking moves for the Washington Nationals, they decided to hold on to DH Josh Bell. Over the past month, Josh Bell has been one of the hottest hitters in all of baseball. And you don’t trade him. I’m Ryan Clary from Locked on Nationals. And one of the most headscratching moves today was that how do you not trade Josh Bell? He’s on an expiring contract. He has no future presence with this team past 2025. What are you doing? Why don’t you trade him for a baseball? Trade him for a half a baseball. Trade him for a seam. Do anything with it. I don’t see the value in retaining Josh Bell. I want to see the younger guys. And now we will see a again a healthy version of Josh Bell, I guess. But what are we doing nationals? Let’s trade our veteran pieces for guys who no longer are going to be here past this season. I’m Ryan Clary from Locked on Nationals. Not thrilled about it.

I think its just for the leadership/locker room presence for the young guys the rest of the way. But thats just me. I understand from that angle
