  1. I’m fucking crying happy tears today. We went from Trenton Brooks and Maldy to Laureano, O’hearn and Fremin

  2. Not only that but capable bench bats in Bryce and Sheets, and they may surely chip in starts here and there.

  3. I think O’Hearn and Merrill will be swapped but this is what I was thinking more or less.

    That’s a nasty lineup!

  4. O’Hearn and Laureano have way, WAY better numbers than Merrill and Bogearts. Gotta swap them

  5. That’s a championship caliber lineup, especially when you consider the starting rotation and bullpen. Exciting times ahead…LFGSD!

  6. And Xander is heating up since June. If it all comes together leading into the playoffs I can see us winning a ring.

  7. I think imma break a promise to sell half my season tickets and go to every damn game!

  8. Friday night cannot come fast enough to watch this lineup, which I assume will be in place by then.

  9. Lineup looks so much better and so does the depth.

We also have a power threat everywhere but Arraez and Fermin.

Lots of balance in this lineup as well.

Our catchers have been hot the last week or so and that’s partly why we have been scoring more.  With that said I think we will see more competitive at bats from Fermin.  He is a contact guy.

  10. New guys, a message to you from the Faithful: we’ll be your biggest supporters, like you’ve never seen before. Please take San Diego to the promised land and you will become legends in our town’s hearts. Help us acquisitions, we must slay the dragon(s)

  11. As a Baltimore fan I’m now rooting for y’all, feels right seeing as Manny been over there a while

  12. I grew up in Baltimore, so I still follow the O’s (second to the Padres, naturally). This lineup is definitely going to cause some double takes, but I’m glad O’Hearn especially gets a shot at something this year after the wheels fell off so hard at the start of the year. It definitely wasn’t on him.

  13. A lineup that is so stacked, Crone Zone is hitting 8th in a year where he’s somewhat producing at the plate. Now if HE could find that .250/.350/.450 stroke again, that’d be something, eh?

  14. Hey Padres fans.

Just a sad Dbacks fan coming in to say I’ll be rooting for you guys. Nothing would make me happier than to see the dodgers not win the division.

    Go get em!

  15. Hi Padres fans,

Y’all are cool, please take care of our guy Freddy Fermin. We called him The Ferminator.

    Sincerely,
    Royals Fans
