Cal Raleigh blasts his 42nd HR of the year! (New record for switch-hitting catcher!)

We do not see many at all in there. 01 fly ball. This carries back. It keeps carrying back. It is gone. Cal Raleigh with a rain maker just over the wall in right field. His 42nd home run this year. It’s the most ever by a switchhitting catcher in single season major league history. [Applause] [Applause] Goldie, that was an absolute moonshot. You first couple at bats, ball hit on the ground. 01 pitch middle of the plate again. Look at this. I mean, you have to have some serious pop. That ball had some serious launch on it. Just carrying back spinning just enough over that muckle shoot casino sign into the right field. One of the real takeaways from Cal’s season this year with all the home runs is just the variety of home runs that he has hit. I mean, he to the plate. You’re right. And that makes it even more impressive. He has hit tracers. He has set second deck missiles. He has hit absolute skyscrapers like that. I mean they have come in all forms, shapes and sizes. [Applause]

  24. I respect the effort and as cal doing it the 2nd hardest position to play in baseball much props but ima keep it real. 73 is like hitting one to mars. All love though and I hope he keeps hitting them💯

  31. He didn't come even close to getting all of that pitch off the bat but he's so strong that he can still hit it out of the park anyway!
