As they say in threeon-ree hockey, let’s do that threeonree hockey. Hello, good evening and welcome. I’m Matt Popchock. Back again at the Ice Castle in Castle Shannon, Pennsylvania, where we are trackside for week five of the 2025 Ice Castle Elite 3v3 league on 10BA band TV alongside Aaron Noravicas of Pit Johnstown Men’s Hockey. We bring you game number one between Raising Kane’s Chicken Fingers, the team in white, and Tidal Wave Sports, the team in orange. Kane’s three, five and one, four points. Title Wave three and five for three points. The two bottom teams in the elite league standings. And we begin with a key addition and a key subtraction. The key subtraction, LJ Mooney from team Kane’s Aaron. The key addition, Matt Dearico, the talented Penn State product making his debut this summer for Title Wave. Yeah, huge addition for team Title Wave. DeMarc hasn’t been here and Tidal Wave’s put together some good games and he’s only going to be able to help. And uh as a for a team Kanees that has been struggling recently, the loss of Mooney is definitely going to be noticeable, but also adding Ian Norvikas, he’s coming back since week one. So hopefully that this can spark something in them to get the get this win here this week. And so with all Norcoas concerned in the house, including scorekeeper Melanie, we are quickly underway here in Castle Shannon. And speak of the devil, it was DeMarcico a couple of moments ago who had the first shot attempt of the game. Turn aside by Lucas Massie who is back in goal for Canes here in week five. Title Wave making a line change. A steal by Ian Norcoas. Norovicus guarded by Alex Bardinelli. That wet ice playing a factor early. That puck stopped on Moss. Paul Moss, the former Mars Planet, won a Penguins Cup with that team. Most recently, the RMU Colonials in College Hockeyy’s Top Flight after playing a couple seasons with the Colonials rivals Mercyhurst. Kaden Pendo, second leading scorer in the Elite League, entering week five. Up ahead for the aforementioned team captain, Logan Kohley, who leads the league with 25 points beginning tonight. Title Wave won last week’s meeting between these teams and they held Kohley to just one point in that game. So for game one, Norc, we get chip on your shoulder, Logan Kohley. And that’s a tough order to defend, I would imagine. Yep, there it is. Oh, what a beauty by the face of the Utah Mammoth. One- nothing Canes. You knew it wasn’t going to be very long until he got it going. struggling him and Mooney struggling a little bit these last two weeks with Kane’s on their downslide, but all it takes is him just picking up his game and things will turn around for team Canes. Goal number eight and point number 26 this summer for 92 in white. Peter Laval at the third with a slapper. Oh, what a fake shot pass and an easy tap in goal. Cam Davis back in the lineup this week for Raising Canes. The Butler native puts his team up by a pair. Yeah, and that was a pretty play by Lavlet there. Made the goalie think he was just gonna blast it and he went down and just slid it across. Davis most recently in the uniform of Null of the NHL and it’s all Canes all the time. Lavlet the current wheeling nailer with goal number eight on his summer. Three nothing team Canes. And finally with a beauty of a snapshot by DeMarc Tidal Wave is on the board. That was a carbon copy Aaron of the Kohley goal. Oh yeah. I mean just absolutely going back and forth right now. Four goals in three minutes so far. So Dearico the Wexford native, a rising junior at Penn State majoring in business and he has become a really nice division one hockey player for the Nitney Lions. Turn over to Boyce. Boy fakes. Boyce couldn’t shoot it. That puck rolled away on him at the last second into the pads of Charlie Mista who’s been a bit besieged in the first half of this first period. DeMarc trailed by Kulie. Dearo puts it in the stomach of Massie who hangs on. DeMarco had a good year last year at Penn State. made a little bit of a name for himself with his overtime winner and uh went viral for his celebration throwing the stick into the stands. So, a lot of people now in the hockey world know his name and Coley again. Thank you, sir. May I have another? When we say you’re going to get angry Logan Kohley, we deliver angry Logan Kohley. And an angry Logan Kohley is definitely not a Logan Kohley that you want to play against. Canes looking like their old selves after a couple of weeks of being in a bit of a skid as Aaron noted and break out the shapes already for Logan Kohley. Yeah, Logan Kohley just said he’s just going to do it himself this week. He’s going to get them out of this slump himself. And isn’t it ironic that raising canes playing noticeably short-handed is steamrolling team title wave when tidal wave gets a key player back for this opening contest. Long way to go. And I think that has a lot to do with what you said of Coley playing with that chip on his shoulder. He knows he’s aware of the slide that they’ve been on and all these guys are super competitive. They always want to win. So Adam Muller scored a pair in the last meeting between these teams. He missed the net that that time as Title Wave breaks it out of their own end. Bardinelli flying up that right wing around Boyison to the goal. Massie there at the far post. Mhler not on the same page as Bardinelli who wanted to come off for a change and that’ll allow Lavlet to exit his area. Nice move by Lavlet on Feling to get us out of the zone. Tip in in front of Mistrea. Mreda got enough of it to knock it aside. Tyler Love outletting for Fedoric. Correction. That’s Michael Feling. The URSTW montor Spartan denied by Massie. Out in front it comes again and going upstairs and missing high off the glass is Feling. Feling down low and from an angle. Oh, Matty D. How do you do it? I don’t even know how to break that one down cuz I don’t know how he did it. He just kind of banked it off of him from behind the net. Sir Isaac H. Newton just sat up in his grave and applauded. I mean, that was a really impressive goal from a bad angle by DeMarc now has a pair, especially being a lefty on that left side, too. There’s really nothing to shoot at there. And the outlet pass finds the tape of Ian Noravicas. Norovicas over the attacking line trying to go to Boon. It’s broken up. Boyon gets it anyway for Pendo. Pendo to goal. Redirected just wide by Boon. Final minute and a half of period one. A 5-2 lead for Raising Gaines. Logan Kohley with an early hat-tick and this puck which he deposits to the stick of Pendo. Pendo waits, watches, shoots, and scores. the Mon Valley Thunder and Lightning. I’ll tell you what, I don’t think they charge people to get in here, but if they do, they definitely get their money worth already in this first period. And a nice play there by Fedoric to go five hole on Massie. He generated the turnover and buried that low shot to make it a three-goal contest. Nice little stick lift there by Fedor on Pendo just to make him overkate the puck. Fedoric, a Bethl Park native, most recently in the uniform of the East Coast League’s Norfolk Admirals, playing pro hockey in the Miners. And here’s Bardinelli, who played professionally in Germany this past year, trying to play this puck out in front for Mos or failing that. Fedoric under half a minute to go in the period. Kohley on his off wing driving the net. Kohley on goal. Mreda. That’s backto-back saves on Kohley. So, he gains back a little bit of his confidence at least going into period two. Most around Lavlet. Moss dispossessed. Oh, what a follow-up shot there. Fedoric has a pair and tidal wave isn’t going down without a fight. Yeah, that’s just unfortunate. Makes a good play by poking it off of Moss. Then the rebound just goes right to Fedoric. And we got a hockey game going into period two. Raising Kane six title wave four with Aaron Noravicas, Matt Popchock. More 3v3 elite league after this on 10BA TV. Shoot. Live coverage of the 2020 25 Ice Castle Hockey Elite 3v3 league on 10B TV is brought to you by Raising Canes Chicken Fingers. Visit raisingcanes.com to order online, get gift cards, and even buy merch. Follow them at raising canes. Are we at Canes yet? The side switch has occurred. The second period is on here in Castle Shannon. Game one of week five in the elite league raising Kane’s leading team title wave sports six to four. Kanes looking good early but team title wave which nearly collected a fifth visav Tyler Love keeps sawing wood and there’s still time to change the complexion of this game. Yeah, good stick there by Norccoas to not let them get that goal and make it a onegoal game here. And if you’re Canes, I mean the one thing they’ve lacked in these first few weeks is defense. And there’s DeMarcico again as I’m saying it. But they need a lock down on defense here if they really want to close this game out here late. We’re going to run out of hats to throw at this rate. Kohley and Dearo each with three in game number one. And it’s a one-goal game after Kane’s led three nothing and six-2 at various junctures. Offside change of possession. Puck goes over to team title wave. Connor Fedoric too only one goal away from a hattick. We’re gonna have hat-tick of hatticks. Dearo to Moss. Moss on the off wing chased by Norcoas. Moss to the corner trying to play this puck for title wave. And it’s right to Ricky Boyison. Now Kane’s needed to come up with some kind of a stop with title wave on a three-goal one. Threegoal run, pardon me, carrying over from period one. Title Wave wins the puck battle. Outleted to Moss. Twoon with Fedoric. Pendo the lone man back. Fedoric fakes. Most waiting. Backhander score. It took forever in a day, but Moss went upstairs and we are tied at six. Yeah, Pendo did the best he could there. He held him off for a while, but good play by Moss to get that shot off on the backand. Make it a fourgoal run for team title wave out in front. Kohley. Kohley. Oh, is that in? Yes, it is. Coley continues to make it look academic. And Coley once again tie the game up and he said, “Hold on, I’ll just do it myself.” Goal number 11. He’s got four in this game alone. Fedoric thought about the one-time. Now he shoots five hole. Is it in? No goal. No goal. They say Massie barely kept it out. Kane still up by one. Approaching the midpoint of period two. You always get a little nervous whenever you see your goalie look behind you, especially if it’s stuck under his pad like that. Usually they know. Adam Muller one-on-one with Lavlet. And Mhler misses upstairs. Waiting in the wings are players from team Saloon of Mount Lebanon and team Gordo’s Tacos and Tequila in light brown and black respectively. They will be playing against one another in the second game tonight coming up right after this concludes. Raising Canes with a 76 lead. Plenty of time left though as I said earlier. Pendo a little too strong for Lavlet but no icing at least on Raising Canes. Lavlet with a steal. Lavlet trying to control it on his forehand but couldn’t. Good stick by Feling. Here’s Love going the other way. I’ll take that. Thank you very much says Massie. Good save there by Massie. There’s room on that glove side. Love saw it but just able to snag that out of the air. Logan Kohley right circle. Kohley flipping it back for Norco. Couldn’t handle the pass. It kind of bounced on him as Feling counterattacks for title wave. Boyison good stick tuitiveness. Norccoas for Boyison. Kohley open. They go that way. Kohley cross ice intended for Norccoas. Norccoas scoring a pair in his elite league debut earlier this summer back in week one. Dearo unable to get around Kulie that time and Kohley has it going the other way for Kanes. Title wave in the middle of a line change. Kohley shovels it over to Noravicas. Norcoas to Kohley. Kohley tees it up and just misses. The way his night’s going, I didn’t think that was going to miss. No, honestly, it seems like everything he touches goes in the net right now. So, I don’t blame him for just shooting the puck. And Chris Conway, another Bethl Park native, playing that puck defensively for Canes. Up to Boyison. Bison has Davis going toward goal, but hangs on to this one for Conway. Conway right into the stomach of Charlie Mstreda. Mstreda playing for the New Jersey Junior Titans of Null this past season. Former Pens Elite Net Minder. Final two minutes of regulation. And it’s still a one-goal game. Demarc checked from behind by Lavlet. Lavlet turning it over to Mst. Most from the slot area. He scores. Now MS has double dipped that chip and we are tied at seven. Both teams just exchanging goals and we’ve been a little stale here for the last few minutes. But Davis tries to go short side. Nothing doing says Mista. Bardinelli guarded by Pendo. Goes cross ice for Mer. Mhler for Bardinelli. Bardinelli in the slot. Fedoric trying to find an extra gear. He’s pulled down by Kohley. Officials let it slide. Final minute of regulation. We are tied. Lavlet makes his move. Lavlet trying to follow the bouncing puck, but the puck betrayed him. Bardinelli twoon-one with Fedoric. Bernardelli cross ice beyond Fedoric, the title wave captain in the corner from an angle that missed everything and everybody. Almost didn’t miss the referee. Very close call in the corner there. Puck is still live with 35 to go. Turned over to Raising Canes. Pendo Kohley’s up ahead. They’re looking for him and I’m sure Tidal Wave knows it. Kohley with under half a minute left. Splits the D trying to go to goal and oh, almost did but he forgot the puck. Yeah, and Logan Kohley is probably the only player on this ice right now that would go through oneon-ree and be successful. Just out of reach, but just to have the confidence to try that. And Fedoric with the hattick. Did Connor Fedor just call game? 3 seconds, 2 seconds, 1 second. He most certainly did. Fedoric’s late snipe wins it for team title wave sports two consecutive wins over team raising canes 8 to7 your final score Gordos and saloon up next sensational comeback by title wave we’ll talk more about it after Shooters. Has your car, boat, or Last week of July, fifth week of the Ice Castle 3v3 Elite League here in Castle Shannon on 10BAN TV. He’s Aaron Norovicas. I am Matt Pop Chalk. Our second game pits team Saloon of Mount Lebanon in their customary light brown uniforms and team Gordo’s Tacos and Tequila and their customary black uniforms as created by Title Wave Sports, the sponsor of Team Title Wave, which has never won a championship round since this league started last summer. Perhaps tonight that will change. They trailed 6-2 in game one. They win game one eight to7. I mean, yeah, with how Dearico, Fedor, and even Moss, I mean, they were all just scoring at will, it seemed like, and they didn’t give up when they went down, and they went down big early. So, I mean, they have an opportunity here to win it. And I think they’re going to do everything they can in their power to get that first championship win here. Team Gordo’s captain by Tyler Murvich, our week four player of the week, who had five points, including a hat-tick of his own in his first of two games last week, a seven-point night overall for Mirovich in week four. He also has played in three ice, most recently in the state of Florida. I understand Tyler’s team is going to be playing team Tennessee next in that event when Murvich returns. Yeah, and he uh had a little viral moment there where a lot of the hockey world was seeing the move where he stepped on the puck and did his little spinama. What a fun event. And what great exposure for the hockey and hockey programs here in Western Pennsylvania. It’s also great exposure for IC hockey if Murvich keeps making plays like that. Johnny McDonald, the former Canon McMillan Big Mac, trying to make a play for team saloon. But too many of those black jerseys to beat. Among them, Devin Rooric, the former Upper Sinclair Stellar 6 honore. Behind his own net, Xander Kakalli from IC Hockey, the Pittsburgh Predators program. Christian Humphrey’s the NHL prospect for the Colorado Avalanche, missing from a bad angle. Chase Hail, the net minder tonight for Team Saloon of Mount Lebanon. And he stares down Evan Conan. Conan had a hat-tick in game two, the final round for Team Gordos last week. Team Gordos, the week four champion of the Elite League, looking for back-to-back crowns in week five. Still scoreless early on as Humphre tries to play it but lost it to the Cadam All-American Nick Cyprien. Cyprien deferring to Alex Gritz. Grits one-on- two fires off the blocker hand of Mason Murovich also of IC Hockey and the Pittsburgh Predators. Oh, unlucky bounce to Cyprien. Cyprien trying to tuck it between his legs. Maybe should have just shot that puck. Side of the net. Yurovic gets over in time to deny the one-time from Anthony Cerrone who returns tonight for team saloon. Yeah, great look there by Sagenuk. He also probably had an opportunity to shoot that puck but slid it over and a great save there by Mason Muravic. Murvich laying all out but eventually Alex Lamojis the former Big 10 all-star at Penn State just wouldn’t be denied. Saloon with a one- nothing lead. Yeah, good play there by Lammojis. Got Murvich to sprawl out there. And when a goalie’s down on his stomach like that, there’s not much they can do. You just got to get it around that pad. Goal number seven this summer for Lammois. Point number 16 among the top five point getters unofficially in the elite league now here in week five. I’m not sure if we mentioned it, but uh Gordo’s uh a big miss here today is no Will Tomco with on the team today. A couple of teams dealing with key absences. Raising Canes did not have LJ Mooney and for a while it looked like it would be a moot point as Logan Coley scored four times but couldn’t quite strap his own team to his back as at the other end finding metal but not mesh was Liam Walsh the saloon captain. McDonald on the off wing. Good stick by Rooric defensively. Pucks off the protective netting are live by the way. McDonald from the left side. Murovic the iron man between the pipes for team Gordos makes another save. Murovic the only goalender this summer in this league to play every minute of every game and going to want to have that one back as McDonald makes it two for Saloon. Yeah, it looked like he was just trying to give that back to Walsh in the slot and it hit off the inside of his pad and went in. Unfortunate for Murvich, but very fortunate for McDonald. Humphre to the vacant right wing. Cyprien quickly in transition to another former Penn State Nitney Lion for a year. Tanner Pelosic. Alex Gritz missing to the far post. Conan over the attacking line. in the corner. Nick Kakali won a professional hockey championship playing in the Hungarian League before retiring as a player unable to control that puck however and team Saloon goes on the counter. Pelosi unable to go five hole. Cyprien has the rebound. Cyprien waiting. Cyprien had Mason Mureovic at his mercy but didn’t do anything with that puck. Britz now behind the net to a wide open Pelosi. Pelosi for Cyprien. Cyprien denied by Mason Mureovic through the screen. Pelosi left wing. He misses the net. Yeah, Cyprien led this league in goals the first two weeks, but didn’t score last week and seems to be hesitant to fire the puck this week right now. Cyprien with 12 altogether entering week five. Tied for the second most in the league entering Tuesday. Two nothing saloon. Here comes team taco. Humphre out in front. Kakali couldn’t turn it to his forehand. And coming the other way is the other number six. Pelosic. Pelosi to the goal. Stopped by Mason Mirovich. I’m not sure if Pelosic got everything on there. may have bounced over his stick there, but good job by Muravic to cut down that angle. KBY Sagenuk to the corner. KBY’s grandfather, Rocky, a Pittsburgh Penguin alumnus from the 8384 club. A forgettable Penguin team to be sure, but an important one nevertheless because it put them in position to draft some guy named Lemieux. I wonder if he was any good. The rest, as they say, is history. Cerrone in the corner. Rooric up for Tyler Murovich. Murovich with speed over the attacking line. Murvich shooting and that save is made by Hail. And the rebound is chipped off the stick of the defenseman Lmois. Kakalli side of the net. A shot and a goal by the Godfather. Nothing Chase Hail or anybody else in this planet is going to do about that one. No, that’s a great play by Kakali there. I mean, he could have easily just been selfish and made that shot, but he got uh how a bite and just slid it over to Muravic. The pass out in front of Lud Cyprien. Looked like a shorefire back door play there, but it went haywire on Team Saloon. Cyprien gets it back, fires and is robbed by the glove hand. Nimble as it is of Mason Murvich. Final minute. Goose egg off the board for Gordos. It’s a 2-1 game now and they’re looking for more. A loud save made by Hail Walsh left side for Lamojis. Lamojas fakes. Centers for Seprian. Seprian to the goal. Couldn’t shoot it cleanly. Both Mirovichas ready and waiting. Cyprien going to tee it up one more time. No, he’s going to pass it off to Lammois. Thank you, sir. May I have another? Great play there by Lammois. I thought he was even going to take that all the way across and so did Mason Mirro. And he just opened up those legs and slid it through. Final 10 ticks to talk. Humphre. Cross ice for Conan. Conan waiting and watching. He’s got to hurry. Conan shooting from an angle. And at the buzzer, Hail makes a save that may or may not have counted on Nicki. As we go to the break with Team Saloon leading team Gordos 3 to1 with Aaron Oravvicus, Matt Popshock for Rice Castle 3v3 Elite League on 10 Band TV. Shined shoots. Order online at saloonofmtlebanon.com and follow them at leos saloon. Team saloon trying to follow a path to the championship round in week five of the elite league. They lead last week’s champion team Gordo’s tacos and tequila by a 3-1 score as the side switch has occurred and second period action. It’s underway. Draw pass to Grits. Grits at the side of the net for Pelosi. Pelosic had trouble with that puck at the last moment and that was a break I think for Mason Mirovich. Yeah, very fortunate bounce for team Gordes here is they still have a chance to come back and tie this game. Obviously, it’s it’s very hard to beat Chase Hail, but I think that this is definitely a team that can score two more goals in a period. Tyler Murvich’s league leading 17th, the only one for Gordo thus far. Oh, that was a sizzler by Liam Walsh. Oh, Liam, think of the children. And the Savannah Ghost Pirates Rookie of the Year makes it a 4-1 game. Great shot there by Walsh. Nice pass, too, by Coron. eyes in the back of his head. He had pressure on him. He not sure if I mean obviously you saw Walsh but he was able to slide it back through the defenseman to give it to Walsh. And a great save there by Hail. A fantastic one at that. Murovic and Conan, excuse me, Murevich and Rooric with a twoon none, but it was not to be. A loud leg save at the other end by Mason Mirovich. Rooric camping out at the offensive blue line as Xander Kakalli brings it deliberately through center. Two minutes gone by in period two. A three-goal hill to climb for team Gordos in black. Tyler Mirrovic backhander. Oh, glove save there by Hail. And officials say, well, I’m not sure what the officials are saying. Can you make it out, Norc? Uh, so they were doing this to us yesterday in the prospect league. They weren’t letting the goalies like make the save and then throw it right up to the players. you have to give the the other team a chance to get back. So they I I haven’t seen it been called till they called it yesterday in our games, but they also did that in the first game with team Canes. Well, there you have it. Doesn’t matter to Pelosi. He’s got a pair and Saloon is still in the driver’s seat. Five to one now with 510 to go. Humphre over the attacking line. Humphre into the protective netting and again pucks that do not go over the glass altogether remain live and in play. Pelosi for Lamois Cyprien on the doorstep side of the net and a goal there. You got any more hats? Toss them if you have them. Pelosi makes it a fivegoal lead for team saloon. Yeah, team saloons right now just seem to be clicking on all levels right now, defensively and offensively and a net. Seems like anything that can go right for him right now is Colobby Sagenuk. I noticed just now has an X-Men decal, literally the word X-Men on his navy blue helmet. And for a hot minute, I thought that was some ducidly clever Marvel product placement, but it is not. St. Francis Xavier University, the Canadian school that Sagenuk attends. That’s their team lettering. That’d be a pretty sick helmet sticker to have. I’d almost prefer he had an actual X-Men logo on the helmet. That would be I don’t know if their league is, you know, as restrictive on uniforms as some of the leagues here in the US. But man, that would be sick. That would definitely be cool. And having a last name like Wolverine or something, that’d be even cool. Empty net here for saloons is McDonald’s just going to bury it. Yes, he will. And it’s looking more and more like we’re going to have a new champion one way or another in week number five. Johnny McDonald has a uh chance to win two championships in one week as the coach’s team Anthos of the Prospect League. You can revel in that a bit. You were on team Anthos last night. Yeah, it was definitely something. I don’t know if I if I helped them very often, but I was there. Your name’s still on the marquee. You You get your name. They all get their names on the cup at the end of the season. Two times tw now. Team Saloons is looking for the goalie goal and Hail just can’t seem to get it out. Oh, he’s got just under three minutes to continue to try and hit that target. Oh, nice play by Humphrey smacking that Corone shot down. Humphre across the line. Team Gordos likely playing for pride at this point, but none to be found there. They’re just packing it in in front of Chase Hail. Walsh with a good defensive play there on the Colorado Avalanche drafty. Walsh with his puck in his own zone. Almost dispossessed by Nick Kakalli. Instead, it comes near side for Cerrone and Cerrone just misses the empty net. Good job there by Curon too to get the red line and not ice that puck cuz it’s it’s always cool if you get the goalie goal. But if he misses the net, he’s given himself a penalty shot to have to face. He’ll try again. This time a low shot that’s easily defended at center ice by Rooric. Team Gordos continuing to skate four on three with the extra player. Rooric into the glove hand of Hail. Third time’s a charm. Send it. He’s thinking about it. Ah, he will defer to Lois instead. Turned over to Rooric. Rooric trying to feed it across for Conan. No such luck. Conan, good pass there to Kakalli. Kakalli. Oh, that might have caught a piece of the post behind Hail. Yeah, good puck movement there by team Gordes. I think all four guys just touched the puck on that play. Just can’t get the bounce. No, they cannot. And Murovich chance. It’s going in. Oh, off the post. And on the team saloon bench, they are absolutely devastated. As are we. One more shot. You got to get it up though. Ah, Conan this time. And it’s a legal high stick. Play continues. Humphre to Conan. Conan. Well, this time he’s stopped by again. Why not? I mean, hey, if he keeps stopping all these opportunities that he’s given to him, you might as well just keep firing them. Humphrey shoots. That’s blocked. And when you play as good as Hail has played these last two weeks, then you’re allowed to have a little bit of fun and just try to fire for an empty net. Absolutely. Humphre for Conan. Kanye to Tyler Murvich. Murovich on his back hand can’t shovel in the rebound. Hail continues to sparkle for team Saloon with half a minute to play. Humphre good feed there for Kanye. Kanye to Murrovic. That’s blocked down. Good back to center for Cyprien. And Cyprien with the decidedly less exciting, but they all count the same. It’s 8-1 Saloon. And that’ll do it. Nice little 5 seconds left. Sorry, I was just going to say nice flip pass there by Malmojis. That’s it and that’s all. Your week five final round will be between team saloon and team title wave. Two teams at different ends of the standings. And your week five consolation round, which happens immediately after this upcoming ice cut, will be between team Gordos and team raising canes. 8-1 Team Saloon, a dominant win over last week’s champions. So, a clean slate in week five for our last couple games. And we’ll have those last couple games for you after this. Matt Popchuck and Aaron Oravicus to bring it to you on 10BAN TV. And that’s a tough order to defend, I would imagine. Yep, there it is. Oh, what a beauty by the face of the Utah Mammoth. One- nothing Canes. Number 26 this summer for 92 in white. Peter Laval at the third with a slapper. Oh, what a fake shot pass and an easy tap in goal. Cam Davis back in the lineup this week for Raising Canes. The Butler native puts his team up by a pair. Blast it and he went down and just slid it across. Davis most recently in the uniform of null of the NHL. And it’s all Canes all the time. Lavlet the current Wheeling Naylor with goal number eight on his summer. Wheeling Naylor with goal number eight on his summer. Three nothing team Kanes. And finally with a beauty of a snapshot by Deamarico, title wave is on the board. That was a carbon copy Aaron of the Coley goal. Went viral for his celebration throwing the stick into the stands. So a lot of people now in the hockey world know his name and Coley again. Thank you sir. May I have another? When we say you’re gonna get angry Logan Kohley, we deliver angry Logan Kohley. And an Kane’s looking like their old selves after a couple of weeks of being in a bit of a skid as Aaron noted and break out the sha pose already for Logan Culie. Martin denied by Massie. Out in front it comes again. And going upstairs and missing high off the glass is Feling. Feling down low and from an angle. Oh, Matty D, how do you do it? Raising Canes. Logan Kohley with an early hat-tick and this puck which he deposits to the stick of Pendo. Pendo waits, watches, shoots, and scores. The Mon Valley Thunder and Lightning. I don’t think they charge people to get in here, but if they do, they definitely get their money worth already in this first period. And a nice play there by Fedoric to go five hole on Massie. He generated the turnover and buried that low shot. Failing that Fedoric under half a minute to go in the period. Kohley on his off wing driving the net. Kohley on goal. Mistrea. That’s backto-back saves on Kohley. So he gains back a little bit of his confidence at least going into period two. He gains back a little bit of his confidence at least going into period two. Moss around Lavlet. Moss dispossessed. Oh, what a follow-up shot there. Fedorak has a pair. And tidal wave isn’t going down without a fight. Goal and make it a onegoal game here. And if you’re Canes, I mean, the one thing they’ve lacked in these first few weeks is defense. And there’s Dearo again as I’m saying it. But battle outleted to Moss. Two-on-one with Fedoric. Pendo the lone man back. Fedoric fakes. Most waiting. Backhander. Score. It took forever in a day, but Moss went upstairs by Moss to get that shot off on the back hand. Make it a fourgoal run for team title wave out in front. Kohley. Kohley. Oh, is that in? Yes, it is. Kohley continues to make it look academic. Fedoric thought about the one-time. Now he shoots five hole. Is it in? No goal. No goal. They say Massie barely trying to control it on his forehand but couldn’t. Good stick by Feling. Here’s Love going the other way. I’ll take that. Thank you very much, says Massie. Checked from behind by Lavlet. Lavlet turning it over to Mst. Most from the slot area. He scores. Now Most has double dipped that chip and we are tied at seven. Pendo Kohley’s up ahead. They’re looking for him and I’m sure Tidal Wave knows it. Kohley with under half a minute left. Splits the D trying to go to goal and oh, almost did but he forgot the puck. The only player on this ice right now that would go through oneon- successful just out of reach but just to have the confidence to try that and Fedoric with the hattick. Did Connor Fedoric just call game? 3 seconds 2 seconds. Late snipe wins it for team title wave sports. Two consecutive wins over team raising canes. 8 to7 your final score. Gordos and saloon up next. Look there by Sagenuk. He also probably had an opportunity to shoot that puck but slid it over and a great save there by Mason Murvich. Murvich laying all out but eventually Alex Lamois the former Big 10 allstar at Penn State just wouldn’t be denied. Saloon with a one- nothing lead. They turn it to his forehand. And coming the other way is the other number six, Pelosi. Pelosi to the goal. Stopped by Mason Mirovich. Rooric up for Tyler Mirovich. Murovich with speed over the attacking line. Murovich shooting and that save is made by Hail. And the rebound is chipped off the stick of the defenseman Lamojis. Kakalli side of the net. A shot and a goal by the Godfather. out in front of Lud Cyprien. Looked like a surefire back door play there, but it went haywire on team Saloon. Cyprien gets it back, fires, and is robbed by the glove hand. Nimble as it is of Mason Murovich. Shoot it cleanly. Both Miroviches ready and waiting. Cyprien going to tee it up one more time. No, he’s going to pass it off to Lois. Thank you, sir. May I have another? This is definitely a team that can score two more goals in a period. Tyler Murovich’s league leading 17th. The only one for Gordo thus far. Oh, that was a sizzler by Liam Walsh. Oh, Liam, think of the children. And the Savannah Ghost Pirates period two. A three-goal hill to climb for team Gordos in black. Tyler Mirro backhander. Oh, glove save there by Hail. They I I haven’t seen it been called till they called it yesterday in our games, but they also did that in the first game with team Kanees. Well, there you have it. Doesn’t matter to Pelosi. He’s got a pair and Saloon is still in the driver’s seat. Five all together remain live and in play. Pelosi for Lamois. Cyprien on the doorstep side of the net and a goal there. You got any more hats? Toss them if you have them. class all together remain live and in play. Pelosi for Lamojis Cyprian on the doorstep side of the net and a goal there. You got any more hats? Toss them if you have them. All together remain live and in play. Pelosi for Lamojis. Cyprien on the doorstep side of the net and a goal there. You got any more hats? Toss them if you have them. Pelosi makes it a five the bounce. No, they cannot. And Murovich chance. It’s going in. Oh, off the post and on foot back to center for Cyprien. And Cyprien with the decidedly less exciting between team saloon and team title wave. two teams at different ends of the standings and your week five consolation round which happened. Live coverage of the 2025 Ice Castle Hockey 3v3 Elite League on 10B TV is brought to you by Gordo’s Tacos and Tequila. And we are live at the ice castle on Castle Shannon inside the trackside rink looking down at the freshly cut ice before our week five elite league consolation round. Team Gordos and team raising Kane’s chicken fingers would both love to get back on the left side of the ledger before this Tuesday night is out. But regardless, Logan Kohley, the Kane’s captain, continues to be a winner off the ice, holding court with the young fans outside locker room 7 and 8, which is like the place to be between the games if you’re the kiddos. They all want to see 92 and white. Yeah. And and it’s so cool of him to stop and he signs everything and anything for these kids. He doesn’t have to do that, but he he does. And he’ll sign anything. I’ve I’ve never seen him tell a kid no. and he takes pictures with everybody and he’ll sign a kid shirt four times if the kids ask him to. So that’s really cool of him. The number three overall draft choice of the team, formerly known as the Arizona Coyotes, the highest selected Pittsburgh born player in NHL draft history. And here he is now. A whole new world of possibilities in Utah with the mammoth after 2023 2024 all rookie team honors and 75 points in 65 games last season. Year number one for the Utah hockey club. Again, they’ll be called the Mammoth going forward. Yeah, they’re also uh a sleeper pick here for a playoff team this season. and they got a lot of really young good young talent on their team that they’ve built around and he’s kind of like the main piece right now. Him and Clayton Culler that they’re building this team around here. So excited to see what they can do and excited to see the season that he is coming up here, especially on a contract year. So, and you’ve talked about it before. He’s a setup man, but he’s been a finisher tonight. He had four goals despite the frustrating loss in that opening game against team title wave. the other captain for team Gordo’s Tyler Murovich, operations manager of IC hockey and elite league event coordinator, his team’s only goal in game two before the ice cut. Murovic, 17 of those overall to lead the league. Kohley, of course, the league points leader ongoing as we have a pregnant pause before the consolation game faceoff. It’ll be Canes against Gordos for one point and then Tidal Wave and Saloon battling for the extra point after this one. Yeah. And that’s something that if you would have told me that last season in this league, I would have probably not believed you. These two teams playing in the consolation game against each other. I mean, last year both of them just dominated and Gordo’s still dominating this year, but team Kane’s just on that slide trying to figure out what’s going wrong. So, and and Kohley dominated offensively in the first game, but he can’t do everything on the ice for them. So, they have to figure out what’s wrong with this team and try to fix it. It’ll be interesting to see if they play a little more defensively inclined after losing the big lead in the last game or if they keep, you know, the foot squarely on the accelerator. Team Gordos dominated last week’s matchup between these teams and every player dressed for Gordos that night had at least one goal in that game. Murovich who has this puck had three and he is stopped quickly by Lucas Massie. Yeah, that’s an unfortunate start for team Kane’s. Uh Kohley wins that faceoff clean and Pendo just toep picked and the puck went right around him. Kohley and company looking for atonement in the attacking zone. He feeds Boyison. Boyison leans into that shot, but it’s stopped by Mason Murvich. Devin Rooric Kohley for a moment was the low man back. Now he’s got defensive company. Tyler Murvich unable to shoot it toward goal. Kohley on the counter. He’s got Pendo with him. He goes that way. Kaden Pendo, the Charoy native, hits the brakes trying to go cross ice for Boyce. No such luck. Open lane for Murovich. Tyler Murvich tries to stop on a dime. Both players taking a spill there trying to stop. It’s a strange moment there, no question, but he does get back to his feet. Pendo, however, wins the puck battle. And a little pause before he tries to get rid of it. Not only is it strange for this league for people to fall, but definitely for those two two of the better skaters in this league. Both of them just so so strong on their feet and so fast. So, you don’t see that very often out of those two. Boyison tried to give it back to Kohley. Kohley not in a good position to take that pass but keeps it inside the zone for raising Canes. Kohley behind the net like a shark circling the water as he goes up top to Norccoas. Ian Norcoas to the opposite corner for Davis who had a goal in the last game for Kanes. Davis tried the pinball angle but that didn’t work. Kohley gathering in this puck and just barely keeping it on side early in a scoreless consolation game. Kohley throwing it back out in front to Noravicus. Norovicas met quickly by Humphre. Kohley for Noravicas. Kohley shanking the one-time from the offing. Evan Conan all by his lonesome. Let’s see if Conan can get off of Schneider. He cannot. Went upstairs, ended up going off the glass. Kanye gets his own rebound back, goes to goal, forgot the puck. Some unfortunate bounces right now for both teams. I mean, when was the last time you’ve seen Coley whiff on a shot and then Conan’s been so good at especially when scoring and just going over the net. Norvickas with a chance. Big slave by Murvich. Mirich getting that left hand out there to pull it in. Nick Kakali up to Humphre. Christian Humphre the Peters Township native. Left circle poke checked by Peter Lavilet III, son of the NHL head coach of the same name. Humphre to Kakalli. Kakalli exchanging again with Humphre. Humphre te’s it up and that’s a good stick by Lavlet to get in the lane. Humphre gets it back again. Humphre makes his move back to Nick Kakalli. Kakalli for Roric. Rooric with a nice turnaround try but just couldn’t put it on target that hit Humphre as he was trying to get off but officials let it slide. Yeah, the officials with stuff like the too many men, they’ll usually let that stuff go, especially in a case like that. I mean, you saw Murvich clearly let the puck go and Humphre was changing. He didn’t mean to touch that puck. So, I am a fan of that nonall. I agree. Boyison from the right circle. That save is made and the goalenders are dialed in as we approach the midpoint of period one. Rooric looking for a teammate. Rooric goes backhand himself and misses upstairs. Boyison defensively back to Pendo. Pendo thought about going to Lavlet for a split second. instead goes to Bison on his left. Boyce in the corner defers to Lavlet. Lavlet poke check by Xander Kakalli. Humphre up to Conan. Conan has someone to go to in Xander Kakalli, but the pass was too heavy. Poked out in front. Conan unable to catch up to that one as Pendo goes down, took a stick to the ribs after he got rid of that puck, but they let boys be boys. Yeah, it looked like that puck may have hit a little bit of water there and really slowed down. I mean, that would have sprung goalie. Unfortunate for Canes, very fortunate for team Gordos. Team Gordos entering week five, the highest scoring team in the league and the least scored upon team. might not be the case after that tough loss earlier tonight to Team Saloon for Gordos. And ironically, Gordo’s struggling offensively as we are under three minutes to go in a still scoreless first period. Yeah, it seems like that’s uh moral of the story for both teams right now. Just can’t get it going offensively. I mean, not too many great chances, but even when they do, they’re missing the net. And there’s Murvich soon as if on Q the Godfather. One- nothing Gordos using that speed there to just go right around the defender and he’s one of those players when he gets going you’re probably not going to catch him. His goal total for the summer old enough to drive 18 and all from Yurovic and answering right back is Ian Noravicas. Yeah. How do you really feel Aaron? That was a nice play by Davis. You know he just had to tap it into an open net. Ian will take him any way he can get him, I’m sure. 1-1 with two minutes to play in period one. Kohley now on the off wing. Cross ice for Noravicas and he is stopped by Mason Murovich. It’s a good try there by by Ian there. Just a lot of players would try to shoot that like high glove and he tried catching Mason sleeping a little bit. Five hole Mirro. Sorry, Aaron has some wheels and that’s deflected in and put wide. What a save there. How did that not go in? Murovic was right there. So was Xander Kakali. Humphre makes the point. Moot. That was an NHL looking wrist shot under duress. Just nice little cut into the slot there and he got that that puck off his stick so fast. Christian Humphre going to be a Michigan Wolverine this approaching fall. Former under 17 world champion with team USA silver at world juniors as an 18-year-old and with it is Boon for team Kanees down by a goal. Final minute of first period play they drop it back to Kohley. Kley waiting to draw the goalender out of position. Going to be easier said than done as Mason Mirovich recovers. Good job there by Murvich through a crowd. Blocker save and the clearance by Mason Mirovich. Turn over to Boyison dropping for Conway. Kohley with it. Long shift here in the offensive zone for team Kanes. Boyison off the blocker hand of Mirovich. Sander Kakalli up for Christian Humphre. Oneon none with Lucas Massie. Humphre shoots and misses. Humphre had all day there. Nobody was near him. Nobody was even in the defensive zone there when he took that shot. Over and back. Nine and a half ticks to talk and the puck goes over to team Kes. One last chance if they hurry to even things up before the first period buzzer. Pendo to goal. Pendo trying to go back to Lavlet. Lavlet has to shoot quickly and he hits the bar at the buzzer. I’m not sure if it would have counted, but just one too many passes at the end perhaps there for team Canes. Yeah, I’m not sure if that one I don’t know if he got that off in time, but Boyce probably should have just shot that. Probably not aware of how little time was left. Gordos, canes one with Aaron Noravicas. Matt Pop Chalk. Second period of this consolation game coming up after this. He scores. Hockey is the ultimate longhaul sport. Matt Popchuck with Aaron Noravicas. Week five of the Ice Castle Elite 3v3 league here in Castle Shannon. The consolation game continues one minute into period two. A two-1 lead for team Gordos over team raising canes. And Gordo’s tacos and tequila will play this puck in their own corner near side for captain Tyler Murovich. Yeah, and Lavlet there had a great chance to tie this game up. Yawning net just missed it. Similar to the one he had to end the period just on the other side. Conan back to Murovich. Oh, what a save by Massie. There’s your save of the night, Norc. Yeah, great save there by Massie. Also a very good pass there by Conan. and the no look backhander. And that’s a great save by Mirovich that’s going to spring Humphre. Kohley finds Medal and Mirovich, but not Mesh. Humphre does the same at the opposite end. A couple of metallurgy saves in the words of the late great Doug Mloud. Kohley at the side of the net unable to elevate that puck was Cam Davis. What a bounce there for team Kane. Shot by Noravicas. came off the glass so hard it just went right back to Coley in the slot. Not too sure why he didn’t shoot that puck. It’s going to be an icing call. I’ve heard the term saucer pass. That was perhaps a flying saucer pass attempted by Humphre, but it went arai and so Kanees off the intentional icing by Rule gets a penalty shot. Yeah, and you know that puck’s high in the air whenever Xander Kakalli isn’t even able to grab him. He’s a he’s a pretty big guy there. And here comes the captain, Logan Culie. Lost that puck as he was driving the net. Still got the shot off, but an easy save for Mason Murovich at the other end. Oh, the backhander is missed by Rooric. He recovers and he gets it back to Nicoli. Both teams with gradea a plus plus plus chances in this second period. Aaron, just seems like both of these teams this week have been snake bitten with in this game. I mean, kind of hard to say that with how many goals Kane’s put up in the first game, but that’s cut out by Massie. Gordo’s unable to keep it inside the zone. Norcoas settling play down for a moment as Kanees changes personnel. Noravicus surrounded by back checkers. It comes near side now to Conway. Conway into the body of a sliding Mason Murvich. Nick Kakalli outletting for Conan. Conan into the attacking zone, dropping back for Humphre. Humphrey’s a spinama pass to Nick Kakalli who misses the net. Was a dandy little move there by Humphre. I thought he was going to shoot that and just slides it to Kakalli. Humphre with it again. Humphre from the corner attracting the double team. Humphre to Kanye. Kanye to goal. Oh, that was perverts by Evan Conan and it’s 3-1 Gordos. They get a muchneeded insurance goal. Yeah, shades of Nikita Coocher off on that one. The little no move move through the five hole and Coley now he gets shut down by Murvich after a nice move on Kanyan. Goal number 10 finally netted by Evan Conan for his summer total. Team Gordos trying to capture that consolation point up by a pair. Kaden Pendo midway through the second period missing up high. Tyler Murevich in front of his brother Mason the net minder trying to control that bouncing puck and trying to get help from Xander Kakalli to clear his zone. Finally they get it up to Conan. Conan has company in the person of Tyler Murvich and Murovich ran out of shooting space. Lead pass to Kulie. Kohley slows down then starts up. Kohley to the cage. Poke check by Mason Murovich from his knees. Boyison trying to do something with his puck. Oh, what a play there to Kohley. Kohley side of the net. Mason Murovich with a save. Mason Murvich just may have just taken away. Play of the night there from team Kanees. What a pass there by uh by Boyce. And Roric now on the other way. just taps that one past uh by Lucas Mazy there. He was a 20goal scorer for Robert Morris’s club team this past season. He’s got one here to make it a three-goal game with under three minutes left. And this game so far just kind of seems to be a summary of how the season’s gone for team Canes. Just a lot of offensive chances that they’re not burying and then going down and giving them right up. Kohley coming back to earth a bit here in the consolation round after that explosive effort in game one earlier this evening. Bison unable to pull the trigger there and this is deflected wide. Almost a known goal there off the stick of Nick Kagali up to Humphre. It’ll come. Humphre with a path to goal. Humphre makes his own move but fanned on the attempted shot. Quick line change for Gordos with two minutes left. Team Canes have his numbers here. If they can get it up, Lavlet left circle out in front. It comes Oh, what a stop there by Mason Murvich. Now it’s Cam Davis’s turn to look to the heavens. Mason Murvich really making up for uh last game’s performance with this one here. Just unbelievable save after unbelievable save right now. Xander Kakali with a miscue there at the offensive blue line. Norovicas reels it in. Pokech checked by a backchecking Tyler Mirovich. Conan trying to get a step on Lavlet. Conan unable to go five hole this time. Massie learning his lesson. Up to Noravicas. It’ll come. Lavlet open on the left side. Norovicas shoots it himself. Blocker saved by Mason Murvich. Just another unfortunate event there for team Kanees. I think that one went off the butt end of Murvich’s stick there. Good shot by Noravicas. Conan streaking into the zone. He’s open from an angle out in front. It comes. Backhand try by Tyler Murvich. And coming well off the line to play that puck and make the save was Massie. Final minute of the consolation contest. Noravicas for Lavilet. He’s stopped by Mason Mirovich. That blocker side right now just seems unbeatable on Mason Miraovich. Good read there by Conan defensively. 35 to go up for Nick Kakalli. Kane’s caught in a bad change perhaps. Nick Kakalli and Tyler Murvich trying to make him pay. Mirovich unable to elevate that puck and the follow-up shot. Oh, that’s an impressive save there by Massie, even if it doesn’t change the outcome. Yeah, it might be a little too little too late though. But great save by Massie. And poison off the side of the net after the convenient bounce. Kohley unable to drag that puck around Nick Kakali. 5 seconds left. One more chance maybe for Pendo. His pass will be broken up by Kakalli. That’s it and that’s all. Team Gordos, Tacos, and Tequila. Oh, they don’t get the full two points this week, but one’s better than none. And they grind out a 4-1 victory over team raising Kane’s Chicken Fingers. Our week five championship round between Team Saloon of Mount Lebanon and Team Title Wave Sports is next with Aaron Oravicus. I’m Matt Popchock. Now, last week, team saloon needed overtime to edge past team title wave and for that matter, a Tanner Pelosaic hat-tick goal in overtime. What will the week five championship round bring? Well, it’s going to bring a lot of excitement because you’ve got a team that plays well defensively and gets offense from its defense and you’ve got a reinvigorated title wave team that is coming off a big comeback and they’ve got Matt DeMarcico, a key player in their lineup for the first time this week. Yeah. And if you’re team title wave right now, you just got to put anything and everything you can on on this saloon’s goalie right now with how hot he’s been. Just try to see if you can get something in him to get into his head. Maybe Liam Walsh, the saloon captain, narrowly missing the game’s first goal on the give and go. Now driving the net was Alex Lammois. Lois dispossessed before he could shoot. Up to center it comes off the skates of Adam Mer. He of Mino Minotauro’s fame in NHL. DeMarco here with a chance on a breakaway push by Fedoric. He stumbles. He’s got a chance. Big save. It was by Hail and Chase Hail looks like his old dominant self in goal for Team Saloon this week. Counterattacking is Team Saloon. Lamojis accompanied by Walsh. And that’s like shooting a fish in a barrel for Liam Walsh. Team Saloon should probably take or uh Team Kane should probably take a little bit of notes on that one and they had many chances like that in this last game. Just could not find the net, let alone the back of it. Cyprien fumbling that puck a bit at center. A chance for Title Wave to reset. But not a long chance as they have to hurry this puck off to Paul Mos. Most loses it in front of the visitors bench. Cyprien takes it back over for Saloon. Near side to Pelosi cross ice and in front is Cyprien. Unable to redirect it through the legs of Charlie Mistreda, the team title wave goalender. Michael Feling with a chance. Feling fakes, shoots wide, tried to go to the backhand and ran out of space. Nice move there by Feling to get around Pelosi to even get that opportunity. Had the goalie beat, just missed the net. Feling generates the turnover for Tyler Love. Love, the Moon Township native, playing pitch and catch with Feling to the side of the net. Moss missing upstairs. Feling double teamed in the corner. Now behind the net from an angle, he tries to pinball it off. Chase Hail gets his own rebound back. Bard Nelli stopped and misses upstairs on his own rebound. Feling right into the bread basket of Chase Hail. Couple good chances there for team title wave. Chances that team Slo doesn’t usually give up. But Hail there standing tall in net. 63. That’s how tall he is. 2011 playing for Alberta’s Magnus College, a D3 NCAA school in Connecticut where he is a rising sophomore. He’s majoring in cyber security, by the way. So, you better believe he’s a smart kid at that. Oh, yeah. I have a couple roommates of mine who are doing cyber security right now. And trust me, with how hard how much they complain about it, I know that’s not easy. They work those ones hard, I imagine. Cerrone taken off the puck by Mer. Saloon keeps it inside the zone. McDonald of McDonald on the doorstep. Excuse me. Cerrone unable to handle it. Icing call here and a penalty shot by Roll is forthcoming as we hit the 440 mark of period one. Looks like Corron’s going to be the one to take it here for Team Saloon. Anthony Coron playing for uh Victoria most recently of the British Columbia League. former Penn’s elite player and he’s unable to beat Mistrea. Title Wave keeps the early lead. Bardinelli resetting to his captain Connor Fedoric. Fedoric for Love. Tyler Love. That’s just surrounded by light brown jerseys. But here comes to Marso. have another hot dog. It is 1-1 midway through period one. Yeah, and tell me they didn’t miss him. Uh just creating so many chances offensively and Pelosi with a nice short side shot to give them lead right back. Tit for tat and it’s two to one team saloon. Demarzico with a thing of beauty. Pelosi, we told you about his big game against title wave last week. Not to be outdone. The two Penn State products just getting it done offensively. Pelosi from inside the right circle in front. Oh, that was almost a known goal off the blade of Mos, but Mreda recovers. Yeah, good job there by Mstretta to keep that pad down on the ice. If his pad comes up there just a tiny bit, that puck probably finds its way into the back of the net. Moss behind the net out in front for Love. Love off the logo and it comes right to Alex Gritz. Cyprien for Grits. Gritz to the goal. He is stopped by Mistreda. Oh, Gritz. Had that top gear going, but speed no match for the title wave net minder. Mer trying to go down low for Feling. That pass broken up. Stick there by Gritz. He is surveying the play and he goes for Cyprien. Cyprien skillfully around Michael Feling. No intentional icing. Officials say Sagenok has to come back for this puck and that allows Feling to play it for Tidal Wave. Feling cross ice. Another good read by Gritz on the back check. Sagen, the Chicago native over the attacking line. Just barely on side with Cyprien. Dropping for Coron. Coron. Poke checked by Bardinelli. Feling to Mer. Mhler for Feling. Feling makes his move. Shoots. He is stopped by Hail. Final two minutes of first period play. Cypriate dropping back now for Lammojis. Lamois up top. 3-1 Saloon. Lamoj is there setting up the first two. Finally, he’s the one who gets set up and he buries that one to give Saloon a two-goal lead here late here in the first. Outlet pass by the former Nitney Lion up to Johnny McDonald, the former Canon McMillan Big Mac. McDonald most recently in the uniform of Rowan Oak of the Southern Pro League. Fedoric takes this one away up for DeMarcico. Matt Dearico. Speaking of Penn State standouts cross ice moss fans on the attempted one-time. Final minute of first period play. Fedoric lets a rip. Big save by Hail. Yeah, and with how big Hill is in the net and how much net he takes up, those uh those far out shots probably won’t beat him very often. Dearo cross ice Fedoric behind the net for Mos and it’s taken away there by Coron. Up to Lois. Limois off the iron. Under half a minute to go. Demars trapped but gets it up to Tyler Love. DeMarc flying up the right wing now. Good poke check there by Walsh. Numbers possibly for team Saloon. Walsh hangs on to it out in front intended for Lamois. Couldn’t handle the pass. 8 seconds left. Title Wave trying to get one back if they can hurry. 3 seconds left. Walsh counterattacking. One second. He shoots and misses right before the first period buzzer. The final regulation period of week five to come. Championship round Ice Castle 3v3 Elite League on 10BAN TV. Team Saloon 3, Team Title Wave 1. We’ll have it for you after this. excited. Shooters. Team Saloon looking for their second championship round win this summer. Leading team title wave sports by a 3-1 score as Alex Gritz misses to the near post. Feling deliberately moving this puck over the attacking line, dropping for Mer. Mer taking his time for Most. Most fakes, moves toward goal, shoots. Oh, what a save there by Hail. Nobody coming back to help Hail. There’s McDonald now. Johnny Mack finally got the memo. And here he comes up the left wing side. Does McDonald and he is dispossessed by the other number eight, Adam Muller. Mhler’s lead pass too strong for Moss. No intentional icing. Cyprien building up speed through center for team Saloon. Cyprien off balance side of the net. Easy goal there for Coron. 4-1 Team Saloon to open the second period scoring. It’s Anthony Coron. What a play there by Cyprian. Just cutting through all three defenders there and just sliding it over to Coron. And nobody seemed to know where Coron was on that play. The former Upper St. Clair Panther back in his old home barn. Saloon still in command. Here comes team title wave. Centering pass intended for Mer. Good back check there by McDonald. Most pickpocketed by Coron. Coron toward goal. Corone had it roll off his blade. The harassment by Fedoric didn’t help, I’m sure. But Coron just kind of lost the puck at the end of that play. Fedoric, speaking of which, has it this time. Oh, what a play there to DeMarc. His second of the game. And Tidal Wave tries to chip away. Dear with his fifth goal on the day, second of the game. And Title Wave is definitely missing him. He’s played one night and he’s caught up to your cousin already. Yeah. He has Pelosic in the corner. Out in front going fivehole is Lamois. What a pass there by Pelosi. The little backhand saucer pass right to the center. It’s such a simple shot, too. Just a low shot going five hole. You’d think that would be an easy save, but he put so much pace on that puck. Mreda was unable to stop it. Pelosi, speaking of shots with high velocity, missing off the glass. Yeah. And kind of kind of going back to that five hole shot. That’s something that you’re seeing more and more, especially in the NHL. I actually just recently watched a video, this YouTuber named Hockey Psychology where he breaks down stuff like that. and he was talking about how the five hole shot has grown and like 50% more goals are going in through the five hole than in the last 10 years. I wouldn’t have guessed that at all. It’s just such a dangerous shot now, especially as a lefty when that goalie has that is like uh the blocker hand like that and you can sneak it by his like right under his stick or right by his stick right under that pad. Maybe that’s what Dearc was trying to do a second ago, but the defensive zone coverage by Saloon got the better of him that time. DeMarc has it back for title wave. Still down by three on the back end of this second period. Championship round week five. Feling with a nice move. Feling just misses to the near side. Title Wave with another offensive zone rebound up to Mer. Mer to Feling in the corner. Most coming on behind the play. Title Wave continuing to cycle this puck. Most looking for an avenue. Most on his backhand. Moss toward goal. Tries to tuck it under the bar but can’t. Good job there by Moss to move the stick there of Lamo just to give himself that lane using that free hand. Cyprien to his forehand. Cyprien out in front and missing. Wide on the one-time is Lammojis. The defensive zone hand pass will be permitted and Feling hits the brakes inside the left wing circle dropping for Fedoric. Fedoric shooting and cutting down the angle was Hail. Empty net here for Title Wave. Good eye, Norc. Title Wave skating four against three, needing three to tie this game. They pull they pulled him a little bit earlier than most teams do. We saw uh team Gordo’s pull. Murovic with uh 3 minutes left in the first game against uh T or Saloons. Feling looking for a path to goal. Missing that corner. Up it comes now to Coron. Coron going to be patient with this puck with the pressure on Title Wave. Two minutes left. Bardinelli up to Feling. Feling for Tyler Love. Love for Bardelli. Bardelli shooting. That save is made by Hail. DeMarc standing up on the bench ready waiting for somebody to come off so he can get out there. And there’s there goes Fousing for Dearico. Indeed. And that pass eludes Fedoric. Dears keeps it inside the line. Dears fires off the mask it looked like of Chase Hail. No goalie goal attempt this time. Coron’s going to do it all by himself. Yeah, Fedoric with a good little whack there. That stick got up. That was going to be a penalty, but he buried it anyways. And so, Team Saloon appears to be in command and on its way to a second weekly championship here in week number five. Those elite league standings just keep going up and down, back and forth like the scales of justice. Just neither team wants to take it. New team on top every week, it seems like. Yeah. And and honestly, that’s very exciting to see, especially as a fan of this league. Not only do I get to call it, but I’m also a fan. And last year, it was kind of just two teams that dominated it. And now we’re getting to see all four teams as uh Sagenook there. Barry’s another empty netter. That’ll make it a seven-2 advantage for team saloon with half a minute to play in week five. Fedoric up for Bardinelli. Bernardinelli to the side of the net and sliding across to stop it as Hail. Hail thought about going for the goalie goal. Now he will, but it’s flagged down easily by DeMarc who may just kill this clock here with under 10 remaining. Lead pass to Fedoric. Fedoric around Cyprian. Fedoric over the bar. That’s it. And that’s all. Your week five elite league champions. Team Saloon of Mount Lebanon in resounding fashion. 7 to2 the final score in tonight’s final round over Team Title Wave Sports. An exciting start to the evening, but a lopsided final. Norc. Yeah, a lot a lot of goals scored in tonight and all all four games. I mean, it just seemed like we’ve talked about so much in these last few weeks how good the goalies have been and the offense was just like that was today was their time and they proved that today. Yeah, fans got their money’s worth tonight. Jared Todd Hunter, our still photographer, gives you your money’s worth. Follow him on social media, Todd Hunter prods. Next Tuesday night for Elite League, 600 p.m. both nights right here on 10BAN TV. first period. Yeah, seems like that’s uh moral of the story for both teams right now. Just can’t get it going offensively. I mean, not too many great chances, but even when they do, they’re missing the net. There’s Murvich soon. On Q, the Godfather, the defender, and he’s one of those players when he gets going, you’re probably not going to catch him. his goal total for the summer. Old enough to drive. 18 and all from Yurovic. And answering right back is Ian Noravicus. 1-1 with two minutes to play in period one. Kohley now on the off wing. Cross ice for Norco. And he is stopped by Mason Mureovic. He tried catching Mason sleeping a little bit. Five hole. Murovich. Sorry. Aaron has some wheels and that’s deflected in and put wide. What a save there. How did that not go in? Murovic was right there. So was Xander Kakali. Humphre makes the point. Moot. That was an NHL looking wrist shot. Going to be easier said than done as Mason Murvich recovers. Good job there by Marovic through a crowd. Blocker save and the clearance by Mason Murvich. Put it on. Has to shoot quickly and he hits the bar at the buzzer. I’m not sure if it would have counted, but just one too many passes at the end perhaps there for team Pendo trying to go back to Lavlet. Lavlet has to shoot quickly and he hits the bar at the buzzer. I’m not sure if it would have counted, but just one too many passes at the end perhaps there for team Kane. Chance to tie this game up. Yawning net just missed it. Similar to the one he had to end the period just on the other side. Conan back to Mirovich. Oh, what a save by Massie. by Mirovich that’s going to spring Humphre. Kohley finds metal and Mirovich but not Mesh. Humphre does the same at the opposite end. Humphre with it again. Humphre from the corner attracting the double team. Humphre to Kanye. Kanye to goal. Oh, that was perverts by Evan Conan. And it’s checked by Mason Murvich from his knees. Boyison trying to do something with his puck. Oh, what a play there to Kohley. Kohley side of the net. Mason Murovich with a save. Just may have just taken away. Play of the night there from team Kanes. What a pass there by uh by Boyce and Roric now on the other way. Just taps that one past uh by Lucas Mazy there. He was Team Kanees have numbers here if they can get it up. Lavlet left C out in front. It comes. Oh, what a stop there by Mason Murovich. Nicki and Tyler Murvich trying to make him pay. Mirrovich unable to elevate that puck and the follow-up shot. Oh, that’s an impressive save there by Massie week, but one’s better than none. And they grind out a 4-1 victory over team raising Kane’s chicken fingers. Our week five championship round between Team Saloon of Mount Lebanon and Team Title Wave Sports is next. And Chase Hail looks like his old dominant self in goal for Team Saloon this week. Counterattacking is team saloon logis accompanied by Walsh and that’s like shooting a fish in a barrel for Liam Walsh near side to Pelosi cross ice and in front is Cyprian unable to redirect it through the legs of Charlie Mistrea the team title wave goalender. Love the Moon Township native playing pitch and catch with Feling to the side of the net. Moss missing upstairs. McDonald on the doorstep. Excuse me. Cerrone unable to handle it. Icing call here and a penalty shot by roll is forthcoming. British Columbia League. Former Pens Elite player and he’s unable to beat Mistrea. Title wave keeps the early lead for Love. Tyler Love. That’s just surrounded by light brown jerseys. But here comes to Marso. Have another hot dog. Yeah. And tell me they didn’t miss him. Uh just creating so many chances offensively and Pelosi with a nice short side shot to give them lead right back. Tit for Tat and it’s two to one team. Pelosi from inside the right circle in front.
