Milwaukee Brewers vs Washington Nationals Predictions Today | Best MLB Picks For 8/1/25

I found a plus money side to back that has multiple edges in tonight’s game between the Brewers and the Nationals. We’re coming off another winner last night. Red’s first five. So, nice cash ticket last night. I wish I played it as a premium play. Uh we took a pass on premiums yesterday, but for yesterday’s video, Red’s first five. Uh laying the half run basically on no sweat. They covered that uh 3 to one, and we’ve cashed 12 of our last 16 free play videos. Now, like I said, we’re going to look to run it back tonight. Got Brewers minus 155 on the money line. Total currently sitting at 8 12. And we’ve seen money coming in on the under. This one opened at nine. And we’ve seen money coming in on the favorite as usual. Milwaukee as they opened at minus 145. Got two southpaws on the hill tonight. Jose Quintana, Mitchell Parker. It’s been a rough year for Mitchell Parker. His RA is pretty much close is pretty close to five. He’s coming off a okay start. Two earned runs, five and two/3 in Minnesota. Uh but he he got whacked by the Brewers on July 11th, seven earned runs in Milwaukee across four and 2/3 innings. He uh his RA is a little bit better at home, 392. uh he’s been way worse at in Washington. However, he has faced some weaker lineups uh especially recently when he’s pitched at home. So that number could be a little bit deceiving here. On the other side, Quintana, he’s been serviceable this year. ERA 3 and a half. He’s coming off a start against Miami. Two earned runs across five innings pitched. He hasn’t faced the gnats this season, but current national struggling against Quintana, only batting a 188, two home runs, decent sample size, 285 at bats. And Quintana, he’s actually been better on the road pitching away from Milwaukee. Uh 236 erra and uh 224 opponent batting average. Looking at the bullpens, uh, Milwaukee has a big advantage here. First off, the Nationals, uh, already had a weak bullpen. This is already a bottom five, uh, over the last 30 days. 24th in erra, 21st in whip, so at least bottom 10, close to bottom five bullpen. And, uh, their bullpen’s very depleted now after the trade deadline. Uh, Finnegan, Chaffen, both traded, so they’re relying on a couple on ARMS now. that are even worse than the arms they traded away. And then you got Milwaukee last 30 days, fifth in erra, second in whip. So this is an elite bullpen going toe-to-toe with an already weak bullpen uh with uh that’s already that’s compromised. A nationals bullpen that’s pretty weak and very compromised at this point as well. You look at against lefties, both starters obviously, like we mentioned are left-handed uh pitchers. Milwaukee last 30 days and on the season 10th in WRC plus nationals on the season and over the last 30 days. This is a bottom five lineup against left-handed pitching. They’re loaded. Their best bats are lefties. Uh so they struggle against left-handed pitching. Uh, one negative for Milwaukee. Cheerio of their best hitter, Jackson Cheerio, is is out right now with a hamstring injury, but I this is still a better lineup, better bullpen, and I give Quintana uh the edge over Parker. Quintana is not a starter that I necessarily necessarily love to back, but against this lineup, he’s handled them well in the past, and they struggle against left-handed ps. Also huge motivational edge here for the Brew Crew um as they’re they’re in the playoff they’re in the playoff hunt obviously they’re fighting for the division with the Cubs whereas the Nationals they’re just letting this season play out at this point uh sitting at dead last in the AL in the NL East I’m sorry. So, when you got a team, all three phases of the game, the check mark uh goes to the Brew Crew and uh they’re playing on the road. So, I’m a little bit more apt to back a team on the run line cuz we know we’re going to get the guaranteed nine full innings of at bats. So, I’m going to lay the run line here, the money line a little bit too juicy now at minus 155. We’re going to go run line here uh with Milwaukee. and you actually get plus money on that. Plus 106 over at FanDuel. That’ll be my official play for this video. Let’s hope to make it 13 out of 17. And we’ve been running hot with our premium stuff as well, guys.
