Thought that thing was going to leave a crater on Waveland off the bat
My stomach did a full 180 dropping on that fly ball. Thank you wind.
Doomers in shambles Cubs 1-0 after the deadline
We sure Mark Buehrle didn’t start this game?
Undefeated in August!
Happy with the win
Let’s score some fucking runs tomorrow
That was…. Uneventful. I’ll take an uneventful W all day long baby.
No doubter off the bat holy shit. Thanks wind
Andrew Kittredge scoreless inning. Cubs undefeated since the deadline. Jed masterclass
As a Trevor Rogers fanasty owner and Cubs fan, I endorse this win
Rogers threw one hell of a game. Cade was dealing too
This game was under 2 hours

The wind screwed em, then the wind saved em
Thanks for the assist in the last out Ryno
A dub is a dub mf’er don’t forget it
First W of August

A win’s a win. At least we got to see Kitteregde’s stuff, which seems pretty good.
guess what? the wind took some away from the cubs hitters too.
**CUBS WIN**
Be prepared for undefeated august
Alright, Nationals. Do your doodie.
Danny P, baby!!
Shout out to Ryno blowing that last ball back in play from heaven.
Cubs had 2 no doubters knocked down by the wind. Seems only fair they have at least 1
Can we just acknowledge the fact that this baseball game lasted less than 2 hours?
While I’m always down for more baseball, the changes made to the game have done miracles for speeding up the pace of play.
The Wrigley wind giveth and taketh away.
Good to see us win one with it howling in, feels like we’ve struggled with these.
Cade Horton now with 17 straight scoreless innings. 👀
That wasn’t the wind. That was Ryne sandberg helping us out
Despite selling lots, O’s kept a lot of their absolutely hot bats. Keeping them down to 3H and 0 runs is good.
Cade with a 1.26 ERA since July, absolutely love to see that and Shaw continuing to heat up
Dub is a dub! Rodgers is real good
Good win with some good pitching! Watched the game with my daughter who just started walking and at the end when Go Cubs Go was playing, she walked up to our TV and was touching the W flag on the screen. Been such a fun season to start sharing Cubs baseball with her!
Cubs are good m’kay?
-Rick Sutcliffe
My broadcast froze so I thought for sure the dude just hit a 2 run bomb
Horton isn’t getting enough respect for how he is performing as a rookie
Cade Horton since the start of July:
– 1.27 ERA
– 1.06 WHIP
Shaw’s swing adjustment biggest deadline move. Going to be a difference maker for this team
