You might remember Kirby Snead from his time with Oakland between 2022-23. He was part of the return in the Matt Chapman trade.

He’s 30 now and out of affiliated ball — almost ended up pitching in Mexico this year before that deal fell through.

Instead, he’s in the Atlantic League, striking out a ton of hitters and trying to show he still belongs. He talked about how tough the past year has been and how he’s retooled his pitch mix.

  2. I don’t know him personally, but I hated Snead. It seemed like every time they put him in, it was to wave the white flag and give up the lead. And he played *a lot.* Plus I kind of remember him being an anti-vaxxer.
