San Francisco Giants vs New York Mets – FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS | August 1, 2025 MLB Season
Of course, swag on the man for Peterson with a four severe strikes out Ramos for the first down of the night. That was a great job reading the bat by Peterson. He threw a fast ball right by him the prior pitch. Why would you trust who was their longest tenure player? That’s a swing and a miss and got him with a change up. Backto back strikeouts for Peterson to start his night tool. Poked in the air to left field. Demo gives some ground with plenty of room and he’s got it to retire the side. One, two, three for Peterson. Who’s ever here? And then of course the express was coming and he struck him out with his curve ball and Demo goes down swinging for the first down and he gets one in the air in left field and almost drifts over toward the line and kicks it off toward the second out. Sodto hits a ground ball right at the second baseman Schmidt. And so Ray has himself a one, two, three opening inning. Have double plays this year, but he lines this one into right center field for a base hit. Chapman will go first to third. Cut off deep by Taylor. He’ll hold Flores to a single and he rips one down the left field line. That’s an extra base hit going to the corner. Chapman is in with the game’s first run. Bumbled in the corner by NMO, but Flores has to stop at third anyway. And Lee slaps one to short. That’ll get a run in. And goes to first with it, gets Lee as Flores comes home to make it two nothing. Out to center field and Taylor comes in a couple of steps that retires aside. But the Giants pitch got the high fast and chased it. And Ray’s got his second strike out to Deers who struck out his first time up and that sliders in for a called strike three. So De strikes out for the second time. Chopped on the ground for Lindor to handle and revers plenty of time to get Chapman in. And that retires the side and Tyrone hits one toward the leg down by Adonis. The backhand flip and the turn by Smith on the double play. Wow. Well, we were just making the point about Tyrone when he has good at bats getting robbed. And there was Adamus to start that flashy double play on the ground. Right at Lindor and almost retired one away. Maybe August 15th is a better job. Ever strikes out for the third time. ball right at the second baseman. Schmidt having played perfectly and Marte retired one away. I would be inclined not to throw that pitch on the left side of the infield. Chapman gets to it and the throw gets Taylor by a stride and that retires the side. Two hits, two left. Yep. Lee’s been up twice. Hit the ball on the ground both times. One of those ground outs drove in a run. He hits this one sharply over the bag. A fair ball off the sidewall. Lee heads to second and he’ll make it easily with a leadoff double. It’s another quality start. 97 pitches for David and a swing and a miss at a high splitter and Stannic has a strikeout. Bailey lines one past Alonzo down the right field line and that’ll bring in a run. Lee comes in to score. Bailey to second with an RBI double. 02 coming and fifth that man for a big hat. Golden Sombrero for Devers. Second out of the inning for Stannic. Thomas hits one behind the bag at second. McNeel is there. His throw will go to first in time to retire the side. Giants tack on a run on doubles by Lee and Bailey. It’s three nothing. Alonzo drills one deep right center field. Lee watches this one go out of here. Dean Alonzo gets the Mets on the board with career home run number 249. Now just three behind Daryl Strawberry, his 23rd of the year and it cuts the Giants lead to three to one. Two and two to Vientos with McNeel on deck. And Mark pops one up. This one should be playable for Des Bailey. And it’s Bailey backpedaling and falling and hanging on to the ball. At least Torren would be next. And McNeel lines one out of left center field for a base hit. And that’s going to roll all the way back to the edge of the warning track. And McNeel easily will get to second base. And it’s flying to right field. Coming on quickly is Moss to make the catch. A bullet off the bat of Tor, but Moss was there. And an upstairs fast ball gets Chapman for the first down in the eighth. That’s hit in the air to left field. Coming in and toward the line is NMO on the dead run. He gets there to retire Schmidt. And back to first goes to two out who was in the minor leaves with the White Socks. Chopped down to first and Alonzo will take it to the bag that retires aside. He’s still learning, Keith. Doesn’t have a lot of gold gloves. That’s lined the other way. A base hit for Lindor. Nimos scurries into second. He’ll stop there. And the Mets have the tying runs on base for Juan Sodto. Gap left center field. Sodto bangs one off Lucasy. It goes past Adonis. Here comes NMO to score. Lindor to third. Soda will stop at first. It’s three to two. Alonzo gets one in the air to center field. That’ll get the run in. Lee is there. Lindor tags at third. Lindor comes down the line to score the tying run. And the Mets have gotten even in the eighth inning. Alonzo’s second RBI of the night is in the final game in San Francisco. Sto takes off. Mauricio takes a ball and walks into second base. Just nuts that they don’t do anything about this. They haven’t caught on to this and Batty chops one to third. Chapman takes it to the bag to retire the side. Mets get a pair to tie the game. It’s 3-3 going to the ninth than anybody else. And the other throw is higher than just about anybody else from an arm angle standpoint. He blows away McCrae on three fast ball. One, two coming to Ramos. Struck him out. Got him with the slider. Two men down. And Adam swings and misses with a slider. Nothing one. It’s slowly toward a third of foul ball. Fred Batty now playing third base after pinch getting for Vientos. The 02 coming. Struck him out. Got him with a slider in the dirt. Ryan Helsley strikes out three in his first inning as a net. [Applause] McNeel slaps one to third. Chapman’s got it and throws him out. One away. Adamus right in front of the ground ball and throws out Torren. So, two batters, two ground ball outs for the sinker baller and Mullins pops it up right in front of the plate. Chapman comes in and almost runs over Bailey and makes the catch and we’re going to extra innings. 3-2 coming to Chapman. Ground ball weekly hit, but it’ll advance the runner. Lindor throws out Chapman. Over the third goes Adamus at 98 at bats, hitting 265. And he bangs one up the middle and the Giants take the lead. Wow. First pitch fast ball ripped up the middle. Oh, one to Lee and he rips one to right field but right at Sodto and that’s the second out [Music] and two to McCrae. Struck him out. So Diaz surrenders one run in the top of the tenth and he hits one in the air on the infield. Casey Schmidt waiting for it. That’s a big first out for Randy Rodriguez. throwing hard and now he gets hit by the pitch and the Mets will have the tying and potential winning runs on base. Door at first and Sodto pops one up. Schmidt retreats and he makes the grab and there are two out coming. Slider swung and missed from a wrinkle on two and0 and Pete takes a strike. Oh, a very borderline strike goal by Nick Lent. And Alonzo checks the swing. He stopped it in time. And the bases are loaded. And Mauricio takes a strike. One-on-one. And he takes on the inside corner. And once again, the Mets one, two coming. Raio goes down on strikes and the Giants take the opening game of the series. They snap a six-game losing streak. The Mets drop their fourth in a row as they leave the bases loaded in the 10th inning. And the Giants win the game in 10 innings, 4 to

Sox game?
A 100 lo rompio!!uff🤯🤯
Soto leaves 'em stranded in 10th. He's not paid enough.
2루타 하나만 쳐도 이정후 썸네일 해주네
How is the Devers trade looking now ? 🤦🏻♂️ MLB GM’s are taking Giants rookie GM Posey lunch ! 😂🤣
I’m a Mets fan my whole life, grew up in flushing. I think it’s a dud this season. They still can’t hit with RISP all season. Why in the world was Taylor starting center field . And how do you pinch Vientos in the most crucial spot in the 8th when he’s been hot?! Let’s just keep Mullins starting , send down Mauricio, and keep Baty at 3rd, McNeil at 2nd, and Vientos as DH. That’s it.
Ray looked good but left in too long. Manager fault.
Mets are a joke , 2 billion in salaries and they average 4 Runs a game . How do they expect the young guys to do better when they are taking them out when they are just getting hot ?
Love seeing the Mets lose.
Randy Rodriguez W
The strikeout ratio for these youngsters is ridiculous, Devers should be ashamed, what happened to the .300 + batting averages?
These umps are terrible
Mets do all them trades to lose to the scrappy giants 😢
They need to swap soto and Pete salary now seriously
Might as well bring back Carlos Beltran 😂
Coño 4 juegos corridos puñeta! 😔😔
Soto must be better in 10th inning
Let me guess….Cedric Mullins did nothing at the plate.
Soto is way overpaid bum
Ese mauricio es un loko
