FULL INNING: AN INSANE ENDING IN MIAMI AFTER A BACK-AND-FORTH GAME!

outfield extraordinarily shallow with a runner on second and McMahon at the plate trying to cut down the go-ahad run here in the ninth. It’s a base hit to center field. Cabo rounds third. He will score. McMahon comes up big with an RBI single and the Yankees lead 1110. Well, they have shown something tonight, Michael. I mean the everything has gone against them and offensively they had stuck with it. A stolen base and then a great at bat by McMahon. Now you’re in a position again with a one-run lead. I’m like I don’t know if you look down the first baseline. It looked like we were at Yankee Stadium. Everybody was on their seats. Got the slider stayed on it enough. Found a hole up the middle. [Applause] No chance that Caliro is not going to score. Fly ball center field deep. Marcy back and he can’t make the play. It’s up against the wall. Scoring is McMahon. A big turn by Vulpi. He’ll head back to second. Four hits for the Yankee shortstop. An RBI double and the Yankees lead 1210. Well, offensively, Anthony Bulpe has been something tonight. He made a great decision going around second. He’s stopped. Let McMahon score. Don’t get thrown out before McMahon scores. This ball was scalded. Got over the head and off the wall. And another huge run for the Yankees try to close this one out from the bottom. [Applause] So they’re score. They’ve scored two runs off a guy who came in with a 1.83 erra. What a night for Vulpi. Two singles, a home run and a double. All right, Cody Bellinger goes from right field to first base as we go to the bottom of the ninth. Yankees lead 12-10. And Cababayro, who scored the decisive run in this game, is in right. Aaron Boon said Devin Williams would be his closer and he may very well still be his closer, but it’s Dval, another new Yankee, who’s on for the save. Well, not tonight. He’ll be their closer. Well, Duval’s got great stuff. He He’ll use his his slider primarily, and his slider is close to 90 miles an hour, and then he has about a 98 mph cutter. So, those are the two pitches that he’ll primarily use. And if you’re wondering why no Devin Williams, he hasn’t pitched since Wednesday when he blew a save and threw 19 pitches. So, he was off yesterday. He’d think he’s well rested. Decisions, decisions for Aaron Boon. Just when he thought all this new help was coming, these new guys have combined to allow six runs on seven hits in two innings of work. Here’s another new guy. It’s Dval and Graham Paulie watches a strike. That’ll just give all the New York tabloids more to talk about. Back page should be interesting tomorrow. Paulie hitting 218 this season. He’s behind in the count. One ball and two strikes. Ground ball to first. Bellinger with an underhand toss. One away. Here comes Javier Senoha. Stack Cast 3D powered by Google Cloud. Senoha with a pair of home runs. He’s kind of gone line to line that first one. Oppo down the right field line. Tucked it into the corner and then pulled the shot a little bit further up for number two. So, three home runs on the air. Hit two tonight. See if he can find his way on base and bring the tying run to the plate. Think after a two for four night, he might just get a start tomorrow. Jacob Marcy is on deck. He did not go. What a crazy game. 22 runs on 25 hits. get down. And the tying run is coming to the plate for the Marlins. Senoha’s got his third hit of the night. Right now the the Yankees and probably most of their fans are saying, “Who is this Javier Senoha guy?” Drop down. Little tiny guy that grew up idolizing Joseรฉ Altuve is playing like him tonight. Yeah, he is. [Applause] Standby. Don’t cash those tickets yet. Marcy lays off a sinker. It was Marcy who collected his first major league hit with a double in the seventh. He’s been on base three times tonight. And we talked about Marcy’s power. had 14 home runs for Jacksonville. He’s got a determined look on his face. If we’ve learned just a little bit about him here tonight, he is very patient at the plate. He’s willing to work a walk. The 2- His heart must be pounding. Really want to run on Doval, you can. He’s very, very long to the plate. I just keep thinking, Kyle, what what an arena Jacob Marcy has stepped into this evening. You don’t think he’ll ever forget his debut, will you? Oh my goodness gracious. In the air and foul. Oh my goodness. [Applause] Oh, just got out a little too quickly on the slider. Oh, mom needs her blood pressure medication. Now the 2- two. Just low ball three. What a nine. Either that or a Xanax. Is it frowned upon to say a cigarette these days? [Music] What a game. And it ain’t over yet. The count is full on Marcy who can really run. Oh, he just got out in front of that breaking ball. That’s good though. He’s seen a few pitches now from Dval. Five of them to be exact and the count is full. Jeez. Handling himself like a veteran up there. See if he can meet the moment. Ball four. [Applause] Edwards has come to the plate. I I have to ask you. Go ahead. As aggressive as they’ve been all season, would you consider a double steal off of a guy that is so slow to the plate? Hut. Well, it all starts with Senoha second. Doesn’t matter about the speed of Marcy. He’s just going to follow him. So, a lot of times base runners will tell you it’s easier to steal third, but because you got to get that big lead, it depends on how the Yankees play him, how closely they play him to the bag. He is so slow to the plate. And you’ve got Edwards at the dish who could absolutely get you a base knock. Vulpi keeping a close eye on Senoha. And that slider misses inside ball one. That time he was a little bit quicker. But the last last thing you want to do is run yourself out of the game. I know it. And you got a guy up there who’s going to make contact. Xavier Edwards has hit in six of seven. Had a great month of July. Hit over 320. To your point. He yanks one down the line. And you’re scoring anyway from first. Ground ball through the right side. That’s a base hit. Here comes Senoha. Marcy on his way to third. The ball gets by. The ball gets by. The Marlins have tied it. Edwards will stop in third. Or you can do just that. Oh my god. What are we watching? I think it was Jack Buck who said one time on an Aussie Smith home run, “I don’t believe what I just saw.” And it’s Kabayo, the newcomer who just came in, a newcomer. He’s lucky he got leather on it or else that would have won the game. His head’s up. He’s not looking at the ball. He’s looking at the base runners. Senoha scores easily. It’s really fun to watch Marcy run. He does. He scores. And X goes all the way to third. Oh my goodness. Give me a couple of more looks like that. Come on. Give them to me. Thanks for coming though. And again, the table is set for the former Yankee to win it. [Applause] And now the Yankees, similar to what we saw two years ago with Jake Burgerer at the plate, are going to use a fiveman infield. This is the same exact situation that we saw two years ago. And Burgerer yanked it to left field and he walked him off. This is unbelievable. The Yankees infield is in here in the bottom of the ninth after a costly error in right. The Marlins with a chance to win it. And a sinker misses inside ball one. [Music] What a moment. What a game. What a season so far for the Fish. Oh, you talk about a game of es and flows. Here’s that flashback you were talking about. Jake Burgerer. Fiveman infield. Didn’t matter. [Applause] Smoke them if you got them. You might not see another game like this all season. [Applause] So, the two newcomers in the bullpen have blown it. The new guy in right field who pinch ran to score the go-ahead run has blown it. And another new guy in Dval is on the verge of giving it up. A comeback in the making for the ages. The 2-1 Chopper out in front of the plate and over. Edward scores from third. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Have you had some fun tonight? Got a point. Got a point. And as the great late Jack Buck would say, we’ll see you tomorrow night. Oh, what a game. Satisfaction for Clayton McCulla to see his ball club come back numerous times on a ball hit about 10 ft in front of the plate. The speed of X, he’s able to score. It will be an infield base hit and a gamewinning RBI. The second pitch to Ramirez. Remember he dribbled it just foul on the same swing. And a threefoot dribbler out in front of the plate is how this one ends tonight on a night filled with so many huge homers.

You gotta see this! After being tied 10-10 going into the ninth inning, MADNESS unfolded between the New York Yankees and the Miami Marlins!

  1. As a Yankee fan…i have too๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃflol….cause yooo
when are we goin too fire the manager…i knw Boone hit a homerun along time ago….but enough is enough
thanks Boone but you gotta goo…yankee 4life

  2. Itโ€™s crazy to me that even after embarrassing themselves in the world series last year the Yankees as an organization have done absolutely nothing to shore up there defense. The same things keep happening over and over again. I canโ€™t see how Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman can keep their jobs this offseason. Especially with the money the steinbrenners have spent on payroll. They have a 300 million dollar team that plays defense like high schoolers.

  3. As a Giants fan I can't say I'm shocked that Doval couldn't close this one out. His saves are often more exciting than a team with a lead wants. But the play in right was about as bad a play on a ball as you can see in MLB. And the "hit" that scored the final run was about as weak a hit as it is possible to find.

  4. As a Yankees fan, I am ashamed. Worst game I've seen them ever play, perhaps. But, as bad as we played, Marlins only got 12 runs. What would a better team have gotten against us in the same game?
