Mason Miller on his Padres debut, the energy at Petco Park and playing behind the Padres defense

Yeah. Yeah. Long fun day. How did that feel? Yeah. Yeah. Get to get the jitters out there in a little bit, but uh just get back to pitching and, you know, big plays behind me to to get out that inning. Really excited. It’s great. Yeah. Yeah. I know. We talked about even the the two hits, you know, probably executed a little bit better, but uh take that contact a lot of the time and I trust those guys will make those plays. And you want to get into the game tonight having gone through everything yesterday and got here today. Is that like just want to get out of the way? Yeah, absolutely. I want to pitch as as much as possible while being smart. So, you know, anytime that I’m up, I want to get in there. What would you make of kind of just a vibe type of heart tonight pitching loud? Yeah. Yeah, it was loud. Really exciting getting into that game. Um, feeling the energy and, you know, I got the natural energy just the moment of the game being a player and feeling it. But uh having all those fans behind you is just a special feeling. You guys really take it all in and absorb just the entire experience from all the other teams to the bull team in direction. Yeah. Yeah. I mean the whole day has been great. You know everybody’s been super welcoming and you know really made me feel comfortable here. Um so getting out there getting to be a part of that group that’s had so much success down there you know feels good. How exhausted are you? Uh it hasn’t set in yet but I think when my head hits the pillow at night it it’ll be heavy. I just
